I buy usually when there is a sporting event is about to begin and I am out of bitcoins, for example, the big bash league is about to begin and I might buy before that, if not then I'll buy next year before the Aus Open. But that's all the requirement I have, I buy to gamble, mostly sportsbooks and casinos. And as far as buying for investment purpose is concerned I'll buy when I have enough to buy a few and the price is affordable.

I don't buy, at all.
I would have bought if I could have though. I would buy when there's a dip.

Im buying when the price is dip. How do you know when the price is dipping? Proper monitoring is a must. If you wont feel theres a dip you can set aside now from buying and do btc earning method for the meantime.

I'm a trader. I buy bitcoin when the price going down or sometimes, as prices continue to rise I would buy. I hope I have not left behind the train

Even I'm not an active trader of bitcoin, I just follow the same pattern of your buying style. First i gather some money for buying bitcoins, then I wait for right time of lower value of bitcoin comparatively. I do save all my bitcoins for price appreciations.

Unlike you, I never wait for a better price. I do buy some bitcoin from my regular salary every month. It's a kind of plan along with my salary budget just like investment. I am having average buying price which is lesser than $300. I'm happy with my plans of buying bitcoins regularly.

Buy bitcoin low and sell high is the best option. It's best to buy as low as possible but I don't think it will go lower than $350 for now.

i think the problem is not when did you buy bitcoin, but when the price is drop.
because usually if the price drops, not forever go down. wait until the price goes up again to sell BTC
I think the main problem is that what price is really high and what price is really low, for example current price it may be considered very low some day.

That is a dilemma we all have. So the best strategy is to buy some every month, no matter the price. In long term, we might make some profit.

Yes, I was buying like this as well. For getting moment I have reached the amount that I am willing to invest so I am not buying currently.

But this tactics of buying little amount on every 1st of the month saves you a lot of headache and thinking am I buying while it's too high!

I am buying small amount every month when i get my paycheck, and investing if and what i can when price drops and i feel it is right moment.

Yeah me too when I get my paycheck I make 10% of that to bitcoin. I want to get more than 50BTC in the future so that I can give it to my children. Also with bitcoin can rise and that is why is good to buy some every month.

The answer is quite obvious... You buy low and sell high.

A good example would be at the start of the year when BTC prices were around $200. Some people suggest that prices plunge from the holiday season but the current upward trend is proving that wrong.

Yeah I wish I bought bitcoin around 200 dollars, but doesn't matter than much I am really confident that bitcoin will rise in 2016.
So I am just buying some bitcoin to reach my target.

it's usually determined from the latest prices and past few months averages. E.g. if it's at like 3-12 months low might be a good time to buy then.

not always, this is true only in a despair phase, sometime there ar ephase where even if the price stay there for only two week then we can assist to a double top without going back again

for example now we are out from the despair phase, and we are clearly heading much higher than anyone think, so up to the current value is a good time to buy
