I buy bitcoin usually just after a drop. Bitcoin had a thriving community which will hold it up no matter what. The bitcoin office usually recovers within the day, so I can make profit if I react quickly.

This question is so vague, its like asking when do you spend your money?

? The questions is quite direct. WHEN do you buy bitcoin.

I buy it when i need to buy some thing that can be only bough with bitcoin. So i change it from fiat to bitcoin and buy for my item.

I must admit that I am done with my buying. I have invested as much as I feel comfortable with. Although I always feel a strong urge to buy whenever I see growth like we are having the last few days. Smiley

Just wondering when everyone buys bitcoin, weekly, monthly or just on the falls?  thinking of setting up something regular to ride out the waves.....  Grin

I tend to buy 0.001 daily, its around £70 a month.

The advantage of buying daily is that you get a range of different prices and a nice even, some days you will buy on the lows and others will be on the high however it will all even out over time.

I like that. However I would not practise. Although the rate is never certain. I know when it is high or low. I tent to buy it in batches of 100 usd when i think the price is low.

When the price is 'high' i apply the same strategy for selling.

I bought recently bitcoin from a friend which needed to sell his bitcoin for cash and the rate was pretty same as the market price but this was good since there is not any local exchange.

When ever u have money. What some people predict in future it will be good to buy even if its double then now. It also depends what u plan to do with them. Saving or trading, maybe some other investment.. u have a lot of choices all u need to do is to find best for you.

I will buy bitcoins if the price is lower.

Now is kinda high for my price.

it depends on what your investment style is. for the short term it's not really wise to buy as the price might go down more. for the long term you can easily buy and hold.

this is relative, the price will be lower wehn you compare it to the future value of bitcoin, the same happened when the price was around 10, it was expensive for those that were accustomed to 2 and so on

Haha whenever you want. If you're trading a nice big dump would be a good moment. If you're not a trader then you shouldn't care.

I just earn bitcoins sell them from localbitcoins when i need money. So basically bitcoin is just like fiat for me as i can't afford or have much money to buy and stack bitcoin to sell at higher price.

This is nice for people who can't bulk buy bitcoins, unlike some other people. You're still getting the benefits of bitcoins

When the price for me is affordable I buy bitcoin.

Well now is a good choice to do, because the price now is oke to buy and later I just hope that increase.

It's not easy to catch these waves so be prepared before waves. Buy occasionally and learn how to hold.

I am thinking to buy at least 0.5BTC to 1BTC by the end of the year(before the new year) and wait/hold until July or August.

I think that is a safe bet. I really see no way this could be a bed investment.

SInce after the block halving the price should be at least 450+

I simply buy when I feel comfortable. Which is mostly when there is a long period where the price doesn't move much. If the price is tanking it gives me an even better opportunity to buy cheap coins.
