The problem starts when someone gambles till he loses all his money and the rest of his property. When he stops gambling at this stage the financial hurdles starts from that point.

When you will come to know that gambling is a threat to my life now and I will be suffering from financial crisis, you will be too late in your life as gambling would have destroyed almost all of your life at that part of your life. So, it’s better for you stay away from gambling as much possible as you can because leaving gambling is not that much easy and it’s impossible for a person alone to leave gambling.

You will never really know when to stop until the only thing left to do is stop. Of course it is easy for us to say these things, as well as give advice to others but let's be realistic, we'll never really do it. But if you happen to have experience on this, you'll be better.

In my opinion when you realize that I am losing again and again then you should strop because in one time if you are losing continuously you will lose everything. Addicted gamblers are greedy to win back his lost money but in the greed to win back he loses more and more money. So it is better to stop at that time. I think that one should not lose big money at one time.

You are saying that we need to stop right away after our first game before anything else? Not all people are unlucky to hit the jackpot, what if you are the one that is waiting for to just hit a jackpot? Maybe try to play a game with maybe 3-5 times then if you can't win the game then you should stop. We can limit ourselves when playing gambling and budget or financial is also one of our things to think before we set our limits.

In as much as i agree with you i also think this is dependent on a person to person basis because one may decide to try 5 times , another a single time and another maybe 10 times before he decides to quit should things not go the way he expected. Setting limits for gambling is a common virtue of any serious and responsible gambler and if strictly followed can maximize the chances of any gambler in order to turn-in profit in the long run.

It the topic is about stop gambling forever then it is very difficult for addicted gamblers. I also bet one time in my whole life, but I am not addict of gambling and never gamble again. I think that if someone has family and his financial sources are not good then he should never gamble, because many gamblers think this is the shortest way of making money but the results are different.

By that time there is really no need to be looking for a stop as there is absolutely nothing more to gamble anyway. You should not be considering losing everything in gambling.

Every gambler should always have a limit and stick to it, unless the losing everything that you are talking about is the limit you have set for yourself though. Like you have said, gambling should be for fun and that is the way everyone should see it rather than trying to find means to make money through it.

you are right, we cannot just stop the games and leave the gambling place especially if we enjoy the games and we are with our friends playing the same game. but I don't think that to stop from gambling after we lose our money is a good idea because we will not have any money and we cannot buy something. it's really telling you that to stop gambling is better than our own encouragement rather than by others' coercion or follow-up. with yourself surely it would be easy to leave the real world of gambling

You know it is time to stop when you reach in the point of your life that you find yourself trap in a deep hole and there is no way out. When nothing is left in you but a penny and nothing else. Everything you work hard for are gone because of being impulsive in gambling. Thinking all the while that you can get back what have lost so you wont stop. In gambling, you must put limitations to avoid being trap in the middle of nowhere.

most of the people stop playing gambling when they lost everything but if they can stop after they realize that their money is decreasing, then I think it will better to them and they can stop the games. but unfortunately, this is only for a few people that realize and considering to leave the places as soon as they can so they can keep the rest of their money. I think we know when it's time to stop but we still attracted to the games and we have a high curiosity about winning the games, we continue to play although we know the risk.

This has been said for thousand times. It will damage your health if you can't control yourself. Knowing when to stop is when you don't have anything anymore. For those that uses gambling as a money making method, we can't stop them unless they will find no fortune with it but if they are luckily gambling with it that's going to be a positive thing to them and they will not understand the word that you are saying.

Yeah, the limit is the only thing that can always help each individual not to over step their boundaries when gambling which is one thing a lot of people are not disciplined enough to set for them-selves. Knowing when to stop depends on each individual as there would always be the time to call it a day but someone who gets so engrossed in the activity are usually the ones who gets sucked up and drained eventually.
