I think to sell bitcoin prices are not for this year or next year until I find the truth in the picture below Smiley

Woah! Just wow man! Good thing that I'm not planning to sell my bitcoin for this year. Well if that picture is true, I hope that it will and probably I'll just wait for the right time to sell. But seeing that picture and it's last phase, it will take a long time before it happens. Whatever it is I won't sell my bitcoins now, maybe I will next year.

Too good to be realistic. I don't think this should even be a gauge on when we'll sell our btcs. Even if all people around the world are using bitcoin, i don't think the price would reach even half that amount. 800k is just too unrealistic for me.

Indeed there is no indication that whole of those fund will be converted or transfered to Bitcoin.  We can consider the possible competitor of Bitcoin getting the pie of the whole scenario.  and as you said 800k  per BTC is very unrealistic.  That too is my opinion.

this are all nice and probable scenarios but in the end, they are all big "ifs" not reality. there are a lot of factors in play in each one of these things and i don't see any time frame for any of these, maybe it was in the article and you forgot. but in any case, they are all possible but not in short term.  and some of them such as gold holders... is already happening but things such as bitcoin becoming a currency or offshore thing, will take a very long time and a long process.

What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?
I don't think that this is the better time to sell our bitcoin im waitingn for the right time that bitcoin will increase again into the or up to 1200+ im earning for now ans holding them all to sell next year maybe .
Above $1000 is a good measure to sell our bitcoin with the assumption it will get a little dump soon. But if you're not a trader and just hold your money in your wallet. Just holding is not better for those people are looking into more money.
but this time i think we need to stay a little more. because this time it is expected that the price of bitcoin will reach to another historical price so we can hold bitcoin for a little more and can get some good profit from it.

Where you did get something like that?
It is pretty interesting to know the reason why it should be predicted like what stated in that picture?
However for me personally it is really makes sense with that scenario table we should hold it a little longer and see what would really happened then.

I just hold and waiting for the march will come as soon as possible. I hope something is big to happen on the march.

I am not going to sell my bitcoins, well, not now. I only have few bitcoins now, so i didn't really think about "exit" point, but i am sure that $1000 is not enough, and it would be pretty dumb to sell now as their price is only rising now. I will probably sell my bitcoins only when bitcoin price will be 5000$ or more, depends on how bitcoin will be stable then

I'm not planning on selling for a long time, I expect the price to double before the end of next year, and even then I might still hold on to the majority of my coins.

Definitely in it for the long haul Smiley

That's nice decision of yours. I also believed in 2018 bitcoin value will be double price just like what I'm doing it also. Even a single amount of satoshi is very very important to me. As we are going to look, the massive volume of the people who use bitcoin so far is very quick, isn't good to see if we have a huge volume of bitcoin once it become double or triple price value of bitcoinBTC it will be much profitable for us that isn't?

I think it all depends on what price one has brought their BTC. Because for me if I make around 20 to 30% profit in the short term then I will sell some of BTC and again at a slightly lower price. I don't fix exact value for BTC to reach. But I will keep around 30% of my BTC for longer term profit and rest of them I will sell when reach my above target.

I never plan to sell when ever their is price hike i just watch and at some point if i feel the selling i just sell it and after some 1 or 2 % low i buy back that is the way i am trading the coins.

Never sell seems like a fake news from anyone in the forum. Most of the people has been sold out when they were in hard times or for financial needs. As of now we can wait till the value need to next peak and that time Ee can sell it out.

There is no reason to sell if you see BTC as anything close to a legitimate currency in the future. Even if you think it is only accepted by 'the interent generation' you need to realize that in 10-15 years those people will be ones making the decisions. Seeing as it's market cap is still relatively low and the fact there is a 21M maximum, for it to become a legitimate currency it would have to grow into tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of dollars per BTC.
Bitcoin is a legitimate currency as long as it has some value, the value does not need to reach such high prices, but it is obvious that if a wider audience decides to adopt bitcoin that will make the prices to raise but that is pure demand and nothing else.

For me there are 2 kind of exit points.

In the first one, I'll cash out my coins to use them for real life expenses. So there is not a clear price for that, it depends on the situation. And as long as btc keeps its value there will be no need for me to sell before I actually need the money.

The second case is the scenario that something went extremely wrong, then I'll have to dump for whatever I can get. Hope it never happens.

right now things are not clear, which makes any kind of trade that much riskier. selling above $1000 and buying around $995 may be profitable these days but because of the situation with China, the FUD and then the ETF and also the fact that price is "kept down" you never know which way price is going to go in short term.
I think to invest $995 to make just 10 or $20 profit is not worth. We are spending huge amount, and the returns are very less. So this is not the time to buy coins, but if you are holding coins fro long time means when the price is below $500, then this is a good time to sell your coins. Don't expect more you will get double profit. But if you recently buy coins when it crossed $900 then wait for some time to cross BTC price $1200.

I feel the benefit and the risk lines are carefully defined. If you're a trader watch the prices fluctuations and sell at a good time, if you're just investing your captital trade it every december. lol BTC

I am an active trader on localbitcoins.com. I want to trade bitcoin for amazon giftcard code. I both buy bitcoins for amazon giftcard codes and sell amazon giftcard codes for bitcoins at good rates. I only conduct trades via the link below for safety purposes, please I dont trade outside localbitcoins, thanks.

https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/chididu/

If I were you I would be careful with my colors first.  Grin I took it out with this quote because my eyes are burning from the color.

But you have the good idea about the December thing. The problem is can you patiently wait for that time when you see bitcoin fluctuating too much? Just like weeks ago where we see $1080. Wouldn't you be tempted to sell already when the price is that high?
