Wait for Bitcoin to be dumped and I am sure it will be a landslide.
When will it happen? No one knows. It could be tomorrow or next year or possibly not.

Why do you want that to happen? Is there a big reason why you want the altcoin industry to crash? Ain't it good for the companies who own it if the value of their tokens will keep on rising? I only rely on Bitcoin's price and if it's in bear, just a small amount of altcoins will survive it.

I want to buy more alts but at cheaper prices.

Okay, let's put into the presumption about the true bear market but that only happens when Bitcoin will fall back at $20k (just for me).

But, I'm not sure if that moment will come as we are getting into more adoption and people had learned already to hold than getting into panicking which could create such a huge market crash drama. I know everyone is aware of the current situation, though we saw some correction, however, even we see more on the uprising trend and even altcoins are still on the rally. Honestly, I'm not seeing this last 2018 OP.

Nobody wants a bear market unless you plan to buy some coins and hold on to them until you make a profit. It's true what you said, if the market is bearish only a few altcoins are able to survive following what percentage of Bitcoin falls. what is clear is that it is an altcoin that has been quite a strong commodity so far in the market.

I don't see any bear market coming in the short term hopefully. We were already out of a bear market some time ago after the market started to go high at a fast pace. That was the signal that the bear market ended I think. Now our main focus is the bull market. We should be able to see the next bull market in this year to hope for high prices in the market. And after this bull market ends in the next year, the bear market would greet us.

The right question is will history repeats itself? I've watched many videos on YouTube where crypto experts are saying that bear market will last for another two years before next BTC halving just like 2017 but my own doubt is adoption rate, it's clear that present adoption rate isn't like the past years in crypto space so why are we all expecting future crypto market to work in same ways as the past?

Like the title says, when do you see the true bear market that we saw that happened in 2018 with every alt crashing insane amount?
There is no need to compare the current situation with 2018, because a lot has changed.
Of course, I believe that the cryptocurrency market is manipulated.
But I think that if there is a fall in prices, then prices will rise to higher values.
I think the bullish cycle is not over yet.

If you missed the bear market of 2018, then you may have to wait for a very long time to get such an opportunity again to buy the deep, Bitcoin and the entire crypto market is more advanced now for such a huge crash to occur again to an entire market but you may witness similar crashed in a single token/coin market but not whole crypto crash such as it was in 2018.

I don't think we'll see the same bear again. But we might not have noticed it but what has happened for bitcoin that has dropped almost half just a few months ago, that can be considered as the bear market, the quickest bear market as possible.
Having the same amount of crash? it cannot be measured, it just can't.

The bear market that occurred in 2018 was one of the worst moment for the crypto market, at that time the price of Bitcoin fell at its lowest point, and followed by Altcoin which also experienced a severe decline at that time. But after that Bitcoin slowly started to bounce back so that it was able to reach a new ATH in early 2021.
If you ask when a bear market will occur.? The answer is no one is able to answer your question correctly, because to this day no one knows when a bear market will occur. Usually a decline in prices in the crypto market is caused by several events, the occurrence of the world economic crisis, the Covid outbreak, the prohibition of cryptocurrencies in various countries, and there are several other events.

From the experience of past years, I will not wait for the start of the bear market and will start selling altcoins in early October. I will not catch the high of the market, but I will not sell at the low of the market. The start of a bear market will come very quickly and suddenly for most investors.
Yes that is the wise choise and going safe is the much better option that waiting for it to crash and then sell at low price . Its much better if you feel that bear market in approaching better start selling your coins now slowly.

no one knows about it, because nowadays most people think that the dump after ATH achieved this year is the same thing as the dump that occurred after ATH in the previous year. it has a very reasonable reason why we don't have a crash as bad as 2018, it's because at this time the commodity from bitcoin is much stronger than before, therefore a high bounce occurred after the dump.

other than that, currently positive vibes among crypto users are speculation and predictions that a new ATH price will be achieved by the end of this year. Yes, I also agree with that opinion. So, because of that, I think that for now, there are no signs of a crash like 2018 will happen, in fact, at this time the pump potential is getting higher, even for 2022.

The market mostly depends on Bitcoin so when BTC drops hards and shows no sign of recovery that is the time we should treat it as a bear market and we should know when Btc continuously dropping all other altcoins are also following. At present, I don't want to think about such a crash again I already witness the previous one but now I am expecting more bull in the coming months.

The bear market that I have seen and is also very sadistic was in 2018, after which it ceased to exist even though there was a correction of almost half of the peak price, but it was not so pronounced and had a big effect because the duration was not so long.

According to predictions, there will be a bear market in winter. The main indicator for me is certainly Bitcoin as all coins follow its global trends. When Bitcoin is decreasing, people think that it will be a new protracted bear market, so they get rid of risky altcoin first, that is why they fall even more than Bitcoin. So just follow Bitcoin and you will know if it is still a bullish market or not.

For me, Bitcoin dumped or lost 50% from its all-time high and it will take months and years.
As you can see, after the dump of all-time-high around $19,000 last month of 2017, it takes more than 2 years to reach again that all-time-high.

So for this new all-time-high, as you can see we already have new all-time-high around $64,000 last April 2021 and dumped around 50% in just less than a month. But look what happened, bounced back around $50,000 and that's around 20% from an all-time-high, so for me, we are still far from the 2018 crash.
