A lot of my altcoins have pumped over the last month or so and it has got me wondering when the best time is to take out initial investment.
Is it too early to take it out once you have doubled your money , is waiting till you have done a 5x or more too greedy?
My best investment so far has been Myria - I got lucky with this one and bought pretty much at the bottom a few months ago and I took my investment out last week once it did a 10x so I am now holding a bag of Myria with no risk.
I have other altcoins I am holding that I am up 3 or 4x on but have not taken profit yet but thinking of doing so , just take my investment out then I am holding more with no risk.
What does everyone else do when it comes to altcoins?
Congratulations! I think I will be consulting you henceforth for my investment advice on the crypto assets to buy...lol. However, your questions are not easy to answer because investment liquidation doesn't have a single answer/advice, which is why you need to decide on what you really want with them. It is good that you are not at a loss, so if you gain a little, you can be contented if you are some kind person, but some people have the risk affinity, and this doesn't mean they are greedy. Also, as per the rule, the more your risks, the more your gains, and this could earn them even x100 if they can wait longer. This is why I will advise you to consider the following in liquidating your positions:
1. You may want to liquidate if the crypto assets have reached x2, x3, x4 and so on. This depends on your risk affinity.
2. Have your investment goals and plans in line with the prospect of the crypto asset even before you buy it. By this, you would have done
your research to know what will happen in the future, so this will help you to plan correctly on the buying and the liquidation time.
3. Consider the bullish and bearish seasons of the asset. You can wait for the assets to have their major bearish season to liquidate them.
4. Finally, use the higher timeframe of your technical chart to make the best possible decisions about your investmenet.
