But should we use bitcoin as an example for them to believe? I mean, bitcoin had been the most successful cryptocurrency by now. If explained well then they might understand it easily.
Altcoins had been a pain in the ass to explain to someone else while bitcoin on the other hand is something you could explain in just minutes without even using the word investment.

We should feed them with important information that they need to learn before entering crypto. Lacking knowledge will only make them quit and leaving them a bad experience on cryptocurrency.

I seldom invite people to invest in a project because I don't want to be blamed if ever a project fails or if it runs away. It is better to give people an idea or your opinion about the project than to invite them to invest and give them flowery words to push them in investing. Whenever I explain a project to a friend, I give them the ups and downs of the project and possible risk and the potential of the project.
The right decision if you explain how the investment works, as well as the advantages and disadvantages that will be generated. Do not give too much hope as if the investment you offer is very profitable and must be followed. I have several times recommended projects to my friends to invest but with conditions and risks that must be handled alone. But at least the project selected has been analyzed and is good enough.

What I did first to introduce my friends to the crypto world was to explain what bitcoin and altcoin are. After they understood, I gave them the airdrop link. If they understand, then I introduce the bounty. If they already make money from both, then I invite to join IEO. Yes, of course, by not forcing, because their choices da in the hands of each of them.

Let's say that Bitcoin is like fiat money, too! But its prices are rising and falling.Always say that Bitcoin is only used as an invesment in the ponzi schemes, So bitcoin is not included in the scam it is only used by people as it is also a form of currency. Also mention the legit uses of bitcoin such as buying online shops with your bitcoin.
Somehow, Bitcoin price movement is just like a ponzi scheme if see the bigger picture. This who enter first benefits on the price fluctuations due to new investors money that buying bitcoin. Bitcoin is obviously not a scam because it didn't promised anything to gain. All price fluctuations is just because to pure speculation of people. Price of Bitcoin dump hard right after it reach peak price and no more nee money flowing in. It depends on the person you are talking to. If the person you are talking to is educated enough, he will not take whatever it is that you are saying as the truth. They will surely do their own initiative to know cryptocurrency more. And why would you even include the investment part of cryptocurrency when you are talking to a newbie?
