It depends what you want to do with your bitcoin. Are you a investor and is trying to buy some altcoins? Then I'd say there's no time to buy because bitcoins is accepted as payment of most altcoins and ICO. Now if you want to buy and be a BTC holder I would wait a liitle while because we might see a correction of the price in next days due to the BTC fork probably. I am currently hodling altcoins and also bitcoins because I want a piece of BTC Gold (haha).
The best time to buy bitcoin is as soon as possible, if someone has money and they want to invest in something then they should invest in bitcoin right away as it's price is increasing so one should invest before it is too late for them and then feel sorry for themselves.
Time is an illusion. Bitcoin can be bought anytime. We can always buy it if the price is high or low. But i suggest to buy it in a very low price because after it fluctuates for some time, the price may surpass the original price before it went down. Purchasing bitcoin is a good idea because you can invest it in many ways. You can watch how the prices fluctuates and from this you can learn on when to buy and not to buy.
I think as soon as possible we should purchase bitcoin because the bitcoin is very popular crypto currency in the world people and even large investors are trying to keep bitcoin and make a good reserve for future. Therefore we have no much time to think a lot but to start purchase bitcoin.
Well for me, it is always the best time to buy bitcoin, because eventually it will increase its rate in every coming months. But if you have bought during the crisis of bitcoin price when China news on banning ICO which drastically dropped the bitcoin down for approximately 25% then you are really fortunate. When bitcoin recovered from that, investors have more faith in bitcoin than even and I doubt something like that could ever happen again. So, if you start buying now, then its the best time for you.
When you can afford it. That's the only correct answer to this question. You should only invest when you can and only invest if you can afford taking the loss.

in my opinion, when it get so low, i bought alot of bitcoin when it went down from 3500 to 2800 then here it is almost 6000
As the thread title when is the best time to purchase bitcoin?. Will in my opinion the best time to buy is when bitcoin become cheap its value. Cause cheap price makes us profitable when bitcoin climb to the higher value. Thats the only one i know instead of buying high price because of any speculation of bitcoin surge. Maybe it's up to you which do you preferred indeed it will continue to rise as i know but as of now i think temporary?. . Cause you will not get a lot of profit if bitcoin suddenly fall deeper ..

For now I think the best time to purchase Bitcoin is before the hard fork happened. You should buy some to receive bonus BTG after the hard fork ). Beside IMO I think Bitcoin price will be double after the hard fork. I think so because I think it'll be the same as the hard fork before on 1st August when bitcoin price increased very quickly from over 2k$ to over 4k$ right after the hard fork

OP you read this phrase ever? 'The best time to buy bitcoin was in 2009,the next best time is today'.This phrase is true indeed.Buy bitcoin today and leave it/HODL for next 5 years and believe me you won't be creating threads like this again 
The best time to buy bitcoin is as soon as possible as prices rise you will get less. You will have to watch the market and when you see a dip just buy. If you want to wait for the lowest possible price you could wait a while however price could rise over a thousand in a month so best just to buy whenever you can.

I would not buy bitcoins now, it has been rising a lot since we hear the first thoughs about the hard fork on october, and it has been rising a lot (from near $4200 to $5800 in a few days) so it is risky to invest now, wait until the fork is done because the price will probably drop a lot, and then invest, maybe we can expect a price of $5000 after the fork, and it is a great price to start investing on it.

I would say as soon as possible, but do not invest too much into bitcoin if you can't afford to lose it. Just make sure, no matter at what price you have bought sell it only on profit or just hold. Many people have waited for right time and they never got one. Since future is uncertain and you can’t control what will happen in the future. Buy and hold, it will surely give you profit in 1 to 3 months or more if you decide for long term investment and for short term wait for sharp drop in price and sell depending on your target profit.
Actually, any time of your choosing would be a sufficient reason to purchase bitcoins. The good question there is when you will actually exchange it for cash. There are many trends and reasons that would affect the value of bitcoins as it may increase or decrease at any moment. Based on what I have read, it would be best to study how the market is affected with the leading trends, which can somehow help you to decide when its best to buy or sell bitcoins.
This year alone, I have come across this same question several times. At each time, Bitcoin was at a price lower than what it currently is. Same question was asked when it was $1000, then it climbed to $2000, then $2500 and now we have passed the $5000 mark and this question is still being asked. In other words, the best time to buy and hodl for long term is now.
