If you have been holding Altcoins for so long then you need some alternatives for now, if you don't want losses to befall you, the current market conditions for altcoins are not easy, you have to be really observant in looking at them, when you get a chance to sell, You have to give up all those altcoins.

At least I will sell whenever I have enough to purchase and own my own house/property. Doesn't mean I will stop investing in crypto though but right now, my goal is to buy a house. I don't need to be rich. Im just aiming to be comfortable.

My personal strategy is that i set a price at which i sell half the bag.
For example ADA, i sold the 1st batch at $1, and second batch at $2.
And i've been HODLIng it for more than 2 years

What old coin name are you keeping so we can tell you a suitable alternative. Maybe the old coin you saved is Dogecoin. If it's true, then it's better for you to just hold it for a time that we can't mention. Because right now Dogecoin can't give you profit.

When you market is going too much pump just like BTC or any upcoming news this time you will hold your alter token and when you see the market going to down or coming to some bad news this time you will sell your stock and reserve USDT for good time buy something again when come market will move to thank you.

If you have set any target profit or target limit then you should sell at that price and shouldn't be greedy. But If you have not set any target then you should sell your asset in parts by small prices difference. You can sell in 5 parts. Sell 20% in every part then maybe you will be satisfied by profit.

it is easiest thing to do by traders actually and no need any skill. We could sell our crypto assets when its value increase as how much our target. when it rise 5% and its be our target than close it and dont open again till new valid signal occur again. alot traders didnt dicipline with this trade plan and let their positon opened.

take decent profits in each trade and dicipline to close when target achieved. we have several option with our investment , is it used for long term or only short term. for long term we need to wait till all plan realized and give positive effect to its price. the biggest mistake in market usually we didnt set our profits or stop loss target , due our confidence we didn care about it.

Greed is the main trait that is a problem for crypto traders and investors. they work without good trading and investment planning.
as long as the price goes down they buy. and sell it when the price goes up. very simple, but without planning and analysis what is done can result in losses if market support does not match expectations. what happened was panic.
