I do not think it's a problem, because trading in crypto is not something forbidden. And those crypto traders will be responsible alone.

Well addiction is a disease. Whether it be drugs, shopping, gambling or crypto currency. Anything that is done in excess of what is normal is still called abnormal. If you get into the cryptoworld, don't make it as something that your whole world revolves around. You just have to know when to tone down.

I think it's not an addiction here. It is not harmful to our health. Many people actually spend more time living and working with electronic money and it gradually becomes their passions. a passion for helping them make a lot of money. And this, I think, is not a illnesses  that we need to treat.

Too much dependency on crypto might be harmful for anyone and this is true for not only crypto but also every other thing. I think you should depend on crypto which you can manage to deal with else it migh be seriously dangerous if you trade like dumbs.

Just a few people mean not representing the whole so it may be that the disease is like a person who is too excessive to something so when he experiences something uncomfortable directly attack the person's mental.

Would the dependency on crypto-currencies become a real disease? This is what the Castle Craig Hospital in Scotland thinks. Indeed, several patients would be dependent on the trading of virtual currencies . Doctors compare this addiction to gambling dependency. They therefore use the same methods to treat them, thus helping them to take a step back from their behaviour that is not normal.

I don't think that you can fairly compare gambling addiction to crypto currency addiction (if there's a case like that). Don't we really put their time on trading is not addicted for me. Maybe they really wanted to learn it. How about stock trading? Can we classify stock brokers who spend countless hours on the trading floor addicted as well?

So it doesn't makes any sense to treat them with the same method they used for gambling addiction. And its not fair to call them addiction in my opinion.

May be for some people with so much capital to invest i think it can be addicted to them because they are looking a right investment that makes them beneficial.

The guys in the modern world who's curing the sad mood (a.k.a. "depression"), ADHD, Trypophobia or "cryptocurrency addiction" is damn ridiculous. People, stop searching for anything making you special. Do something, invent something or have some use for society — that is what deserve the attention

Crptocurrency can be highly addictive especially if you have tasted its fruits in form of rewards, you always want some more of it, more experience, its like a force attracting you towards crypto, but as a user, you have a personal responsibility to take care of yourself and avoid over indulging into crypto, if it turns into addiction then there is no good that will come from iit, try control your urge

Well, there's nothing wrong in adapting the cryptocurrency in our lives but I think too much use of it will not be good specially when people would depend their life needs in cryptocurrency. Ofcourse people should not depend on virtual source of income; they should have find atleast a permanent job because we know that this bitcoin job is not stable and if you are lucky then you'll get high income. I agree that too much dependency on cryptocurrencies may lead to a real society disease.

If  crypto currency makes a person addicted. It is a natural thing. In my opinion, someone, who has jumped in the eyes of crypto currency, will definitely continue his journey. If he uses crypto currency for a positive thing, for a positive transaction, or to do a job then it's a positive disease anyway. If he misuses crypto currency, for example for gambling or robbing someone else's crypto currency then it needs to be dealt. It's a negative illness that needs to be healed. When it happens then the person is mentally damaged and needs to be taken to a psychologist to be addressed his behavior.

Yes I also have seen the news. And felt that truly people are getting addicted and this industry is something like that. But I think this is not a matter for which hospital is required. Since this is a kind of investment, people will be continuing the basic operation.

I think dependency on cryptocurrency is not a disease. Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency and a very good platform of investment. For this reason people nowadays are more interested in bitcoin and this cannot be a disease.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
I think this news is exaggerated. Crypto currency has no relation to gambling. This is just hilarious news for the popularization of some Finnish clinic. I do not think that someone will go there Grin Grin

It's a completely normal thing. Workaholics are also being treated, just like people who are addicted to trading and can't sleep constantly worrying about their assets.
There's also another article about this clinic in Scotland here:
https://futurism.com/rehab-clinic-treatment-cryptocurrency-addiction/

There's no need to exaggerate, addictions are present in every part of our life. We have addicted computer players, alcoholics, sexoholics, smokers...

Is this for real ? People who invest not only on crypto currency would often check the value of the coins from time to time to help them decide on their next move. Maybe this kind of doing are seen by the doctors as an addiction to trading. Well, its just normal and necessary what treatment do they have? Im so curioused about it. Do you have any link on the article?

if making money can be attributed to illness, thut most people are sick. and money is the most powerful drug you can think of.
All of us definitely are in sick if they are categorizing trading as a disease. These doctors are really doctors? What made them put into this conclusion and diagnosis?
