I had an old trust wallet in my device, and after reading this topic, I sent some coins to my bitcoin address, and I can confirm that my Trustwallet doesn't show incoming transactions. The balance is correct, but there is no new incoming transaction.

Solutions to this problem:

  • Delete the wallet, clear the cookies and install the latest version.
  • Edit notifications on your device.
  • Go to settings and change the node mode from automatic to fast.

I tried the above settings and got a transaction notification as soon as I got a one confirmation.

Perfect. Thank you for feedback  Smiley

If that's the only reason why you want to quit trust wallet then you need to upgrade to their recent version 7.16.2 it has such feature and even notifies you, sent, when a transaction gets one confirmation. You also need to backup your seed phrase, for security reasons, before updating to the recent version, but that doesn't mean you'll lose your funds if you upgrade straight away. I've not heard about unstoppable wallet, do well to understand their policies before jumping to use the wallet. Good luck.

Just saw this post, but yes as others have said this issue has been going on with TrustWallet for a while.
AND also as others have said don't trust them.

Back to the matter at hand, if you do switch to another wallet. DO NOT reuse your recovery phrase. Create a new one from scratch.
Just send all your funds to the new addresses and be done.

There seem to be more and more wallets that are slowly spinning themselves into the ground. No need to go along for the ride. If their support is lacking now, with your coins just not being displayed, how do you think it's going to be if there is a real issue.

I wouldn't rely on any wallet to see my transactions on the blockchain, just go to the blockchain explorer and put your address and check it out yourself./

There is no difference between using a block explorer and an SPV to know your balance...  Both are third parties with the same disadvantages.

I'm trying Sparrow wallet. About truswallet, I will leave some satoshis to see what happens if I reinstall it. As said the funds are coming and the global balance is ok. It's strange and does happen to someone else too.
From my experience, sometimes Trust Wallet background process got killed by my phone saving feature so if there is a new transaction there won't be any notification. You might want to check your device saving feature, but keep in mind that changing settings/adding the app to a whitelist doesn't really help for whatever reason. This is not always true though, since sometimes it doesn't give any notification too even if I open the app and close it for a few minutes. At the end of the day though Trust Wallet is just not reliable and good enough if you want to use it as your main wallet.

Hello,

I just noticed that Truswallet does not always show incoming transactions, but the balance is correct.

I have since read a lot about this Truswallet (on this forum) and have seen that it is not recommended. So I'm going to try this unstoppable wallet. (https://unstoppable.money/)

In the meantime, why are some incoming transactions not notified? Have someone an explanation ?

Thank you

It looks like this unstoppable money is new, if you are planning to try using this unstoppable apps, observe first. Let others try it first, then find out what their review experience is about using unstoppable money.

Now to your question about the trust wallet, regarding your transaction using their apps, is there still a problem here? Have you tried to ask the support of trustwallet the question you are looking for an answer to the transaction you made?

I'm new to these both wallets and I never heard of them, so I quickly having some small research and found out that both wallets are good and non-custodial which I think it's better than the Trustwallet.

If I were in your place, to choose Sparrow Wallet and Unstoppable Wallet, I will choose Sparrow wallet.  Why?
Because you can customize the fee which Unstoppable wallet doesn't have which in fact, it has a higher fee since they've used their own integrated decentralized exchange (DEX).

About Trustwallet, as I've heard, they're buggy wallets when it comes to transactions and you can get a delay notification.
And their explanation about that which somewhere I read but I didn't remember, said that the notification process for transactions on the blockchain network isn't controlled by Trust Wallet, but rather by the underlying blockchain network itself, meaning to say that no single entity has control over the network and transactions are verified and recorded by nodes on the network.

If you want to use an unstoppable wallet as an alternative to Trust wallet then unstoppable wallet have a real sync issues, you can read user experiences in this topic I created here: Unstoppable wallet {User experiences}

A lot of people complained about slow syncing and a big delay compared to other wallets.

The best solution, in my opinion, is to rely on third-party applications that are address or public key monitoring services so that you receive real-time notifications instead of waiting to get one confirmed and incomplete history for all addresses.

That's exactly right. And of course I thought it could only happen to me. Since this is not the case and after having read all the threads about Trustwallet on this forum, I thought it was important to post it in the beginner section: first of all, we don't really understand the reason, it's not a synchronization problem otherwise it would concern all the transactions, but not all the transactions don't appear, it's still random, and finally, it seems that no one has the answer to this mystery But I understand that Electrum looks great (for the moment I have a lot of trouble understanding how it works).

The beginners may panic if they don't see any incoming transactions. (For my part, I tell myself first that I did something wrong, so I tend to never panic)
I have no idea what is going on with Trustwallet right now. I am having huge issues with swaps. Either it says that the swap will be expected to fail due to an unknown reason or it does not even load the swappable currencies in the first place. Sometimes the Trustwallet app just crashes for seemingly no reason. This happened to me yesterday but it has been happening for quite a while now. Either 1inch has a problem or more likely, the wallet app itself is having trouble.

I do not have a lot of money in Trustwallet but I don't think I will be using it in the future anymore. It has become extremely unreliable.

Their support team should be on Bitcointalk or at least keep us updated on social media of what is happening. This is ridiculous.
I highly advice you both to:
  • Post both of your issues on their Reddit sub[1] as mentioned before. Trust Wallet doesn't seem to have any kind of official presence here but there's a staff member in Reddit - rakib0020[2] - that seems to pop up every now and then to support users with problems.
  • After solving all your issues - mostly the one reported by goldkingcoiner - you should consider another wallet, preferably an open source one. Not only is Trust Wallet a closed source wallet, it is also from Binance[3] which is the largest CEX out there.

Not notified as in you're not getting a message saying that you've received funds? Or you don't even see the TXID in the transactions list?
I'm positive that Becassine is referring to this episode[1] that happened to her (and Ale88[2]) recently using Trust Wallet, so I assume it is the latter (TXID not appearing). Oddly, on their Reddit sub[3], there aren't many users reporting this problem and the closest that I found was this user[4] whose funds weren't showing up (updating) after he transferred them. In this case one of the Staff members told them to reimport their wallet[5] in order to fix the problem (which apparently did). Perhaps you could try the same Becassine?

Alternately you can also post your problem in their sub so that it gets noted by the community and eventually get supported by a member of the Staff...

Perhaps, it could be as a result of poor network reception or it could be a result of the coins that was used for the trade.
Does Bitcoin show same way? Or is it only when transactions involving other coins, this happens?
Have you tried to update or upgrade the wallet?
If you have, maybe trying out other wallet to decide on the best one to stick to is key.

Please don't use Trust wallet.  As the name suggests, you're putting too much trust to people who have proved to not be worthy of trust.  Switch to an open-source alternative before being too late.  A vulnerability was exploited recently, it had happened in the past, and it will happen in the future, because it is not secure.

(For altcoins, unstoppable money is open-source AFAIK)

Lightning network is good with small amount of BTC
Did you receive those transactions on Ethereum network?
It happens to other coins too which are not ERC20 tokens.

OP, this is not something new that happens when using trust wallet. Most of the time, this issue is caused by wallet updates. If your trust wallet app needs some updates, it might affect the synchronization of transactions. After you have successfully updated your app, those past transaction histories do appear.
I do not think this is correct. I needed an altcoin sometimes ago, I have no other wallet that I know of for Filecoin, I used Trustwallet for it, nothing showed on the wallet history. My apps automatically updated and still updated. I go through the wallet history just now and I did not see the transaction.

If the former, then from my experience, you only get a notification when the transaction receives a confirmation.

If I'm to understand correctly, what the OP means is that all receiving transactions don't appear on the transaction history, but the actual amount always appears correctly on the overall balance.

OP, this is not something new that happens when using trust wallet. Most of the time, this issue is caused by wallet updates. If your trust wallet app needs some updates, it might affect the synchronization of transactions. After you have successfully updated your app, those past transaction histories do appear.

But I have come across some posts on this forum where users experience such issues, and wallet updates are never the cause of them. If you are always encountering such issues, I will advise you to use your phrase and import your wallet using Electrum, either mobile or desktop. It will help you trace both unconfirmed transactions and all incoming transactions.

According to the following article, trustwallet doesn't show multi-send transactions.
