Well, I believe that it will become international currency in the near future and I hope it would happen. In addition to that, as of now we use bitcoin as a currency and money so that I see the potential of bitcoin that it will become our world currency and many people believe on that.

As other members have stated it kind of already is an international currency, though within 5 years I think most countries will have to formalise it as 'legal' as so many transactions will be undertaken. Some countries already are rolling out vending machines and over the counter sales, once that balloons then it will be adopted globally in my opinion.

I see it much like vapes tbh, they have had a lot of legal questions around them but you can now see vendors popping up all over the place.

I think by looking at the current development of bitcoin it is not impossible one day we will see bitcoin used as International currency. but before that happens there are some requirements that must be owned by bitcoin if you want to be recognized as the International currency.
1. There is recognition and approval from other countries, in other words there must be many countries that have legalized bitcoin.
2. The number of scattered bitcoins should be sufficient for the needs of the international community.
3. Bitcoin must be able to maintain the belief of the world community that this currency is worthy of international currency.

I am sure if this can be fulfilled, then bitcoin can become the International currency.

It may be that bitcoin functions have become an international currency but certainly not with legality, there are still many illegal countries about bitcoin, but over time it can slowly gain trust from various parties to bitcoin.

Same thing here, I,think bitcoin is already an international currency, as you can see the user of bitcoins from all over the world.I think if the government will accept bitcoin which it will become more stable position and hope that more people will adopt bitcoin.

Right now bitcoin is now spreading to the world (Eventhough some of the coutries tries to ban it) Some of the coutries retail store and restauants accepts bitcoin.

we don't know exactly when bitcoin will become legal to every country and used as a international currency but i believe that it's now the start of it.

Bitcoins flexibility will give the opportunity to it to become the worlds currency.

I also think that the ecosystem should prevail and widely used by the people. It is not exactly decided when will be bitcoin the worldwide currency , because many countries have still some issues not to accept it as a legal currency, but I think with the passage of time they will also realize the importance of bitcoin. So I think it will take some time for the whole world to be together on one platform in case of digital currency.

I do feel it is already an international currency. Some banks and small funds already use BTC as the backbone for quick FX exchange. And BTC is not controlled a nation-dependent central banking system, unlike fiat currency. However, I agree that still a long way to go for mainstream adoption, but to me that's a bigger ambition than just being an "international currency"

I think BTC at the current status is already a big step up compared to 7 years ago for sure but to replace as an international currency, that might still take quite a long journey. Having even lower transaction fees and faster speed might be another enormous step forward and having say that, Segwit is definitely helping BTC move ahead in term of market price movement.

This will take many more years to come. Especially now after another bitcoin exchange security breach. The bitcoin price is just not stable enough to be a major international currency. Investors are getting spooked out of bitcoins too fast.

Bitcoin is the future time will come that bitcoin will be use as a meduim of exchange. But for now this innovation should be disseminated property to educate us more through out the world...

I can't see yet bitcoin as the international currency because my country only few of us know bitcoin. Only part of the whole know bitcoin but not all. But this would be possible that bitcoin become international currency but it takes years to make it possible.
