Bitcoin is already accepted in many countries, and like any other type of payment or currency it is not going to be accepted or used by everyone in this world, i means take paypal or credit cards for exemple not every person in the world uses it and they still exist because it is somthing not sutibale for everyone and the same case with bitcoin.
As people are awarding of bitcoin & its potential.When we can see bitcoin as international currency? 
Bitcoin could be international currency if some countries started to accpet bitcoin as a legal currency or accepting bitcoin as a real money. And if that happens many bitcoin users will be happy because they can now use bitcoin to buy the things that they wanted without converting bitcoin into a real money.
As I observe bitcoin is already available worldwide but not globally accepted. In some countries bitcoin is not yet fully accepted in exchange of goods and services. Maybe after 5-10years there is development that it will used internationally.
As others have already stated that bitcoin is an international currency as it is being used by people from various parts of the world. But if you are asking that it become currency of exchange between countries and for official trades. I doubt that it could happen because this involves government. And I think that governments of all the countries would never accept bitcoin. I think that it shouldn't even happen. If governments will get into bitcoin then they will definitely try to control it and this is not what bitcoin is about.
I agree with what other members have said about Bitcoin as of right now being an international currency. Even though it is not official yet in any country, the amount of users and what country they are receiving or sending Bitcoin will make it count as an international currency. The fact that Bitcoin users are all over the world makes it a international or global currency because you don't need to change it into another currency but you can send it directly as it is because it is acknowledge as a kind of currency.

Bitcoin is already available internationally.But for it to become an international currency like dollars,it has to be accepted legally in all countries.Now Japan has accepted it legally and few more countries are considering to accept it legally.It would take some more years for this to happen.

Every day a lot of people are getting involved / or discovering bitcoin. Meaning after a year or maybe even month it doubled. I can see bitcoin as international currency 10 - 20 years after. But technology also needs to reach some countries / provinces first.
Bitcoin as international currency is great because you don't have to convert it when you go to other countries. Unlike money, if you're in the Philippines your money must be peso and when you go to other country like America, your money must be in dollar.

Anywhere? Maybe this is possible anywhere on a first world countries like US or Europe. However when you talk about the whole world then 2020 might be too early to say that btc could be an international currency

Bitcoin is use everywhere in the world so it is called worldwide cryptocurrency but then it is not accepted all over the world like, there were countries that make bitcoin banned for the reason that it is not secure and it is illegal but it is not true. There is a lot of governments who do not openly support bitcoins and bitcoin has to go a long way before being accepted as international currency everywhere.

Soon when some countries will accept bitcoin as a payment.
I think bitcoin is already international currency because we can spend it online shops in different country, and soon i think more adoption will come into bitcoin and more online stores will include bitcoin as mode of payment.Yes bitcoin has already became an international currency as people from different countries are using it and now it has also started to get global exposure from different corners of the world and soon we will be seeing many more people and companies getting into bitcoins which will give bitcoin recognition at international level.

Bitcoin was already an international currency as it's been using globally. It's the only currency that can be converted into fiat vice cersa as of now. Two parties don't need to convert one currency into other currency so they can use it. If one sent bitcoin, he'll recieved it as bitcoin and it has a value in all countries. Soon when some countries will accept bitcoin as a payment.

We are many many years from getting any sort of recognition from the world governments. Bitcoin has to grow, and it has to prove that it is not an elaborate ponzi scheme. But scandals and robberies such as those happened to Mt Gox and Sheep Marketplace will pull back our progress by many more years.
