Do you guys have any estimate when the ETH Fees are going to drop? It's been so long those fees have been as high as mountains.
Do you see any light in the end of the tunnel?

no, I can't predict this. even Vitalik himself is still hesitant to give an exact time when this matter will be resolved. the last hope is in ethereum 2.0 which with this new network the block capacity increases so that it can handle more TPS. and slowly reduce GAS fees. the question now is, when will 2.0 come. this is still a mystery to this day.

As long as the Ethereum network is always busy with transactions it is hard to expect gas fees to be low there. Maybe we can just wait for Ethereum v2 to be developed again to address this gas cost issue. Or if you want to transact, just avoid peak hours to avoid gas fees that are too large even though they are not significant.

ETH fees were always been a hurdle that's why it caused too much pain on users on ETH network to spent lots of fees for a transaction alone that's why we are hoping new implementation of ETH v2 will be solution once in for all.

It will be done next year but it may be delayed due to the various reasons but you can check ethereum 2.0 roadmap through this link https://ethereum.org/en/eth2/ It's said that almost all of roadmap will be done next year include beacon chain merge chain and many more.
I just remind you that if that's non official roadmap. that's why im saying it may be delayed. The fees will never drop until all of roadmap will have done.
Do you see any light in the end of the tunnel?
It's better to check the roadmap directly on ethereum 2.0 site.

We all thought the ethereum fee will reduce last year when ethereum 2.0 was introduced but it was another way, there was nothing different about the gas fee till today. Later we heard it will be a long time process. Vitalik buterin and his crew are having more plans to reduce the ethereum fee, but as busy the ethereum network is, I think there will not be that significant fee reduction. To have low fee, it can require more time and also making use of weekend when the fee is reduce than during weekdays.

Now not only the Ethereum network is loaded, problems also arise with transactions in the Binance Smart Chain. But in BSC there are no such huge commissions as we see in the Ethereum network. Here the problem is different and it can be solved only after switching from PoW to PoS.

The only hope we can see right now is for version 2 to come. Even I limited my usage of ETH from 1 to none because of the absurd fee it is throwing at us. I've noticed that a lot of users are already migrating to Binance which is why Binance is also having an increase in gas fee.

it seems that expecting low fees for ethereum is still quite difficult for now. Many people hope that ETH 2.0 will bring major changes to ethereum that can make the fees cheaper than other coins. however, I also feel that currently the transactions of tokens on the ethereum platform are very large. I think reducing fees will take a long time. it's just that, if this continues, I think ethereum users or coins on the ethereum platform will decrease, and many users will use BSC as an alternative, or even replace ethereum in the future.

No estimation and expectation when the fees will drop. But I'm hoping that there will be the time that it will fall for which we can transact eth and erc20 token as much as we can at any time we want.

Do you see any light in the end of the tunnel?
Yes. It's just a matter of time. Before the fork, the fee wasn't that high so if they do something the same before the upgrade, there would be the end for this expensive fee.

I think things like this now will just be a prolonged speculation Cheesy
Because indeed something like this might even be difficult to happen, ETH 2.0 is now predicted to make gas cheaper but so far there has been no sign of that.

ETH may be like now until whenever eth gas will continue to be expensive and it is very difficult to get them to lower the gas they have

Since there are only a handful of people talking about it, they won't take an action as soon as possible even though the problem has been there since the network has reached its most successful time ever. The fees right now are unreasonable and there are some NFT games using their network as well which doesn't a really a good time if you decide to play right now. As for the others who are making big transactions, then this is nothing to them and they are willing to pay huge fees for gas just to rush their transactions.

I have not thought about whether the price of ETH gas can be as low as it used to be. Because I've heard many times that gas will drop at ETH 2.0 after this update and that but the result is gas is still expensive.

It will, of course, it is the goal. Scalability.
With the rise of layer 2 and other layers 1 smart contract platforms that can be used for alternatives of Ethereum, they are likely helping the Ethereum to scale but the user could also decrease on Ethereum.
But I believe once this scalability issue is fixed on Ethereum, I will not be surprised how much volume or users will pour in on the Ethereum network.

We don't have any estimation about when eth fees are going to drop coz it will never drop. The last update was making ethereum gas fees will never drop again. The limitation was the very bad update that happened in ethereum 2.0
Ethereum burns like crazy but we must paid more fees to make it happen and that's it. You will never see ethereum fees to drop again to the bottom.

Do you see any light in the end of the tunnel?
I don't even see any light in the end of tunnel. We must waiting for the implementation for ethereum 2.0 which will be done next year but im not sure about how it can fix scalability problem in ethereum.
The fact that last update in ethereum blockchain was making the blockchain even worst caused by the transaction fees never go down and it's always worth two digits.
I don't know when the ETH fee can drop back to its normal price and every transaction is only $1, I can send coins to the market or I can sell them directly on forkdelta, I still have a balance in forkdelta and want to withdraw only the eth fee is very high at this time have to wait even one more months the fee is still high and has never dropped to the normal price.

Eth 2.0 is on its way pal. It will not be deployed immediately but it will be in phases. The proposed upgrades will include the additional tps ( transaction per second) for Eth blockchain added by the change in consensus mechanism. From proof of work to proof of stake.

Ethereum 2.0 upgrade will really change this high fees caused by congestion in the blockchain. I expect that its price would plummet from here specially that EIP 1559 burn mechanism is really active.

Many thought that the transition of projects to an alternative blockchain would solve this problem, but as we see the result is the same at the moment. The network is still not overloaded and you have to catch the moment to send your tokens, it's already pretty tired.

It's been a while since we've been expecting the implementation of the ETH v2, but I really don't know how much longer it would take. The transaction fee on ethereum has been on the rise and the developers are yet to find a way to get the issue resolved. Many blockchains are been launched and several are leaving the ethereum blockchain to more user friendly platforms and this could affect the number of users of eth.

from what I see there is no progress there will be a decrease in fee fees even though eth is version 2.0
and I'm also not sure it will change anytime soon
I don't know how long the fee will be expensive like this, I can't even make a decision and issue a detailed opinion about the eth fee

If I'm not mistaken, Ethereum is upgrading to v2 in several different releases. They've done one thus far (I think) and still have a few more to go. Once the Ethereum 2 upgrade is complete I think gas prices will go down some. That was one of the main selling points behind Ethereum 2.0 I believe. Sadly, now we're starting to see higher gas prices move to other blockchains as well, like BSC.

I"m not sure but never see any lights out from it. And besides,  we already have another option now and that is not to use ETH if we want to save huge fees. I know that we all are hoping to see some light out of the tunnel but to see it was very unfortunate this time. In fact, Vitalik Butterin was not new to the issue, and somehow, he never address this, and no solution he ever made. He just let this thing be made and all ETH users and traders suffered.
