Putting 80% in crypto currency is a dangerous thing, but there will be people willing to take that risk, because the chart, development and grow process really show a positive improvement, but since crypto still in early stage, it is still unstable at the moment, when it become more stable there will be more people willing to bet their wealth in digital form

I think bitcoin is a digital curency assets. because the future is still vague and no one is really going to know the future, then it is not wrong if we invest with a reasonable value. I am sure in the days to come more and more sophisticated and modern world.

When will be the time to have 80%+ of your all wealth in bitcoin? Will there ever come such a time?
I think bitcoin or any other, but there will definitely come a time when most of a person's wealth be in the form of digital. Do you think bitcoin has the potential to be that digital asset?
It  is very possible for bitcoin to be a digital asset, as you said because it may still be a #1 cryptocurrency on market for a longer time.
We may even see in some days bitcoin in offer of banks, as an investment for specified percent every year, but before that will happen, bitcoin need to attract more and more people plus older users have to remain in the web.

There is also another possibility, some other cryptocurrency may overcome bitcoin , and lately we could witness the alts volume going higher.
Nobody can say what is going to happen, some unexpected event's may occur and it will change cryptocurrency world completely.

Personally, I dont see that time coming any time soon but it could actually be fast tracked for me if the government of my country can legalise bitcoin as a matter of urgency in the sense that no line knows what the government will do couple with the various laws in regulating the financial activities of the country that could put anyone having large amount as crypto might be open to risk...

Having most of your wealth be transferred to Bitcoin is very dangerous, from my point of view. We all know that BTC is very volatile and because of that, you are exposing your wealth to unnecessary risks. We don't know what will happen to BTC or to all the cryptocurrency out there. It is not a good idea to put all your life savings into one digital asset only. It would be better if you'll diversify to lower the risks presented by these type of investments.

if you are meaning 80% of total net worth then that might be a little difficult because a lot of the net worth of a person makes up his physical things like property, vehicles etc. If we are only talking about money, in a bank or in cash, then yes probably in coming years we all the money is delt in digital. Even now most of the transactions are made with credit card or other cashless methods so we are not far from being completely cashless. But all the assets in bitcoin, well that might be a long time before it happens.

80% of the property, it's roughly equal to your total property. Betting such a big sum on bitcoin is a dangerous thing and not bad. Bitcoin is just a virtual currency, it has no stable value, it always varies depending on the market, although it is very developed and potential, however, it can crash at any time. If you put the whole property into bitcoin, this means you will probably lose all your money. Be careful about that, do not make the wrong decision.

Well it all depends on your choice and decision. If you decide to leave the banks today and place all your money into bitcoins then it is very possible that the 80% of your wealth will be in the form of bitcoin. We are already moving towards the digital age and that is very true that soon almost everybody will like to have their money in bitcoin rather than placing it on banks.

Okie let's take this scenario. Let's just say that gold is more popular that Bitcoin, much older and much trusted investment than Bitcoin nowadays, but still 80% of people's wealth is not on gold. It's possible but it's tougher than we think it is.

People prefer what they can see and feel. They prefer to buy houses, cars or land. Even me prefer those things. Of course because those things can be used everytime and it's such a good feeling that your wealth won't be stock and you can view and use it everyday.

It would be a risk if 80% of our wealth is on Bitcoin, not mentioning future problems it would be hard to trust what we earned hard in a sublet thing.

That is a very dangerous thing, I think no one wants to risk it. 80% of wealth is a huge number for every person, whether rich or poor. Bitcoin has stabilized and evolved over time, it's very potential, but overall, it's still a virtual currency. Its value is unstable, rising and falling, and can collapse at any moment. So, no one is foolish enough to put almost all of their wealth into bitcoin.

My portfolio is already 80% on bitcoin. All other assets I find boring and I can afford the risk anyway. Im looking forward to buy some other coins but so far none are worth risking may BTC for. Im holding some LTC because the mega pump is imminent when segwit activates.

I'm pretty sure that nobody would put 80% of their wealth in Bitcoin if they had the money to do so. Bitcoin is only a payment method that lets people pay for different items in a faster matter.

then what am I? imaginary? i have a big chunk of my money tied in bitcoin and i am hodling it for years only spending what i need and all the profit and income goes into the cold storage.

and although i also see bitcoin as a payment method aka a currency but you can't deny that this currency is being adopted and its price is determined based on supply and demand and with a limited and fixed supply the increasing demand means an increasing price and a nice investment.

Au contraire. I've seen quite a few mentions of higher percentages that that. It could of course been blag and their entire net worth could've been $500, but it's easy to underestimate how many hard core believers there are.

And a lot of people will end up with 80% net worth without even trying if prices rise.

I can say that more than 80% of my wealth is in bitcoin.I buy bitcoin instead of leaving my money in bank.
But the greatest risk involved with keeping all your money in bitcoin is bitcoin price.
Someday your $100 worth of bitcoin can become $80 worth.
It also sometimes become $110 but you never know when it will be 100 or 80.

If you have 80% or more into bitcoin then you  are part of the few people who strongly believe in bitcoin. I wouldn't put such a high percentage only into bitcoin, for a simple reason: diversity. 80% is far too much for me at least. Not that i don't believe in the potential of bitcoin but i prefer mixing. And no, bitcoin is not the only method to lets people pay for items in a faster matter.

When will be the time to have 80%+ of your all wealth in bitcoin?

it depends on your age, your income, your country, and your total wealth.
the answer is not a simple yes or no or a time for that!

for example there are a lot of teenagers using bitcoin, many of them around in bitcointalk. i say they should go in 100% with all the money they have because as a teenager you don't have much and you are relying on your parent as for expenses so even if you lose all you are still in your parents house!

but as an older person who is living on his/her own it becomes a little more difficult. and the difficulty is not because of volatility or even the lack of places to spend bitcoin, but the difficulty is because of the risk.
risk of price going down temporarily, or risk of losing your wallet or getting hacked,...

Bitcoin price is still so much volatile and i think this will remain same for next few decades, having 80% of your wealth on something whose price can go up/down by 10%+ overnight is very risky deal.

I think people will never store even 50% of their wealth in cryptocurrency and if someone is doing this than he /she may experience very big loss in near future.
