When will be the time to have 80%+ of your all wealth in bitcoin? Will there ever come such a time?
I think bitcoin or any other, but there will definitely come a time when most of a person's wealth be in the form of digital. Do you think bitcoin has the potential to be that digital asset?
Yes bitcoin has a very huge potential to be like that digital asset which will generate big profits and make most of its investors as a wealthy person. I think i will put the 80%+ of my wealth in bitcoin if i see that the price is less volatile and it is stable so i can be confident and feel safe in investing my own money in bitcoin because to be honest , one of the things that i'm scared of bitcoin is its volatility.

It is too early for this if and the real question is when we will decide to put 100% of our wealth in Bitcoin. Personally, I would love to do this from now, but Bitcoin is not among the most popular payments methods yet.Hopefully, in a few years from now, the block issue will be solved successfully, and everyone will start accepting it, then you will see more people moving their assets into it and use BTC more as a currency than an investment.

When will be the time to have 80%+ of your all wealth in bitcoin?

whenever you finally figure out that there is only 21 million bitcoins supposed to be created and nothing more. and there are already about 15-16 billion people in the world and a small portion of them investing in bitcoin means price would be 10 times more than this.
with that in mind the profit has been also good so far making bitcoin investment an awesome decision.

although you always have to keep the risks involved in mind. risks such as losing the private keys and losing all the funds.

To have 80% of your wealth in bitcoin you would have to be a real bitcoin enthusiast.
I think that even amongst the users of this board here only a fraction of one percent will ever reach that level.
For the average user bitcoin is a way of payment. Many have a small amount as an invest as well, just in case of a very large price increase.
But the risk that this increase will not come is considerd to be so big by most of the people that they are not willing to put a large amount in it.

Very few users hold entire wealth in the form of bitcoin, because the uncertainty in the fluctuations make an fear among the entire user community to move everything towards bitcoin. The same might make a person from richest to poorest or vice versa as there is no central control system. Technology decides everything.

i have all my wealth in bitcoin, actually it's the opposite, bitcoin gave to em all the wealth i have now and never bought a single bitcoin, all mined, or acquired in other way

there are definitely people that can live with bitcoin alone now that the mining profit is very high, but this was basically always true

still some thing need to be bought with fiat, like food for me
Since when you mined all your bitcoin wealth? If you did that before halving, well you're the lucky one. Because like what peoples said on mining section, the profit from solo mining now is not so pretty high to solve the subsistence because of the electricity cost.

I don't think a lot of people will actually just move their wealth into Bitcoin.  What will happen is that people begin to earn their wealth in Bitcoin and then spend it without converting to fiat (for example, young people like me who mess around online a lot).

When you haven't already rooted yourself in fiat and banking, it's a lot easier to keep out even if Bitcoin will likely not be a major payment method (and if I need fiat I can convert it to a non-verified PayPal account, albeit with high costs and risk of scamming).

While for some things and some people Bitcoin is a great currency, its deflationary properties will lead people to view it as a stable asset, meaning that some investors who would have held excess wealth in gold might hold at least some of it in Bitcoin, potentially increasing that deflation and, in turn, leading more people to put most of their money into it.

Most likely 10-20 years, probably sooner, probably later. Its thoroughly up to personal preferences. People who are leanient toward Bitcoin have already started changing over their assets into Bitcoin, while many still continue using fiat currency. There is no specific time span. However, the next couple of years are certain to have a critical influence throughout the cryptocurrency.

When hyperinflation takes place, everyone's bulk of their savings will be in bitcoin.

And yes, bitcoin is the New World Order's currency.
And no, there is no evidence.
You want evidence?
Show me evidence that "Satoshi Nakamoto" is a real person behind bitcoin.
The fact is there are countless of things in our life that we take for granted and believe without much evidence and never question it, and yet here you want evidence that bitcoin = NWO currency?
Like having rothschilds appearing on camera live and say "Yes, we invented bitcoin. And yes, bitcoin is our NWO currency. And no, this is not April's Fool."?
Don't kid yourself.
We all have intelligence.
And our intelligence is intelligent enough to link all the missing pieces together into a complete picture.
If we are waiting for rothschild to appear to us holding an already complete picture, that will never come.

Some evidences are already there, like In-Q-Tel, CIA and NSA involvement in cryptocurrency in the 90's, but they do not directly say "Yeah, baby. We are the one behind bitcoin!" and neither should we be so foolish and naive enough with baby-like immaturity to expect such thing, as if they are going to tell us what's the best stock options to trade that will go up 100x in the next 100 days.

Other "evidences" we need to figure it out ourselves with logic and common sense, like asking how come Mt. Gox was set up to trade bitcoin. This is no funny matter, especially when bitcoin was so unproven with zero evidence that it will ever going to last. And here you have a businessman investing his money into an exchange to trade a digital token developed by someone (or something) else. And you have the mainstream media talking about bitcoin, showing how much they care about a digital token (unproven at that time) as a form of worthy news. That's normal if you don't already know that the major news media are all owned by the jews reading the same scripts no matter which channel you watch. I bet if I were to invent a cancer-curing herbal formula that is 100% free and workable that they wouldn't even want to fucking talk about it unless their jewish master orders so. And then we have companies going all the way out to engineer sophisticated electronic equipment that we call miners, made by Chinese company but has no China-made defects. Now that's pretty fucking neat job, I say. And these miners sold to us to mine a digital token that was reportedly developed by a nerdy Joe 6-pack japanese ("Satoshi Nakamoto"). All all the while we see people with deep pockets investing multimillions into facilities, funds, etc for this digital token, almost short of worshiping it, during a time when it was not even proven that it will last. It's totally amazing that these people would go fully out on a limb with their investment money and expertise to get us involved into digital currency to fight the government. Fucking noble, I suppose, don't you think? And then we have reputable institutions researching it, and adopting it, and creating educational courses on it. Yes, because blockchain is a breakthrough. Hey asshole, gas vapor tech that can increase your car mileage to 10x over is a breakthrough too but why the fuck they are not getting involved? And I bet you don't even fucking know what is gas vapor for your car despite such tech is already around us for more than a decade. It's not popular because nobody promotes it. Nobody promotes it because it's not from the powers that be. People like you and me promoting it is useless because there is so much we can do and get involved to make it famous, but those people behind bitcoin promoting it are definitely no average joe.

Phoenix currency. By 2018. As reported by The Economist. You wouldn't think that was a joke, would you? And you wouldn't be foolish enough to expect that by 2018, rothschild will appear on tv live and say, "We hereby present youuuuu.... Phoenixxxxxxx......... Currencyyyyyyyyyyy..........!! And for the best of your interest, please buy loads of it here at our office at 66th rothschild road. Price per unit of Phoenix currency will be fixed at $10,000. Buy now, while stocks last." Because if they really do that, not only will so few people buying, the adoption would be extremely loop-sided because only the few tiny rich people will buy while 99% of the rest of the population will just go for gold. Then adoption for their Phoenix currency will fail and their intention to control everyone through digital tracking will fail. Global adoption needs to be fully in place before the next economic collapse takes place or else their plan for world control will fail as without bitcoin, people will go for gold and silver instead, totally circumventing their control. For adoption to go smoothly and successful, they need sufficient time to introduce bitcoin and give enough time and attraction for people to adopt it and year 2009 seemed the best year to start, until 2018 for 9 years of time to work out the global adoption. Thereafter, a global economic collapse takes place.

You may say I have wishful thinking, but let me tell you this. My wishful thinking has made me substantial investment return in bitcoin and holding on to it despite all the volatility and uncertainty without trading it away for altcoins, thus saving me a lot of potential loss throughout all the pump and dump among the altcoins. And it is with my wishful thinking that I dare say that once global adoption is fully in place, officially, the global economic collapse that Harry Dent, Mike Maloney, etc have been talking about for years will finally be triggered.

Having so-called wishful thinking (or conspiracy theory) on this so far helped me to invest with confidence and weather the storm of uncertainty, when everyone else was clueless and just follow the latest news blindly. And I believe such wishful thinking will continue to make me successful in the future.

I can't understand the percentage (80%) and what that means. To my point of view not all eggs in the same basket. Therefore, there are other assets someone to put his wealth and savings too. Even though I have a strong belief to digital currencies and especially in bitcoin it's not easy to see what will happen in future and bitcoin is volatile to trust my wealth.

This time will came for the particular bitcoiners when they fully believe the the bitcoin and second condition is that bitcoin will get official legal use of the bitcoin in the country by the government ( the recent example is Japan ) .
In this condition and time anyone can invest his whole the earnings of his life in the bitcoin and can make earning easy , Because he will take patience that he will get loss even the price got down because the bitcoin is officially legal and nothing is bad to use it .

I don't think I will do that for many years because it is not possible for me to live only on bitcoin since there aren't any places in my country that accept bitcoin and that means having your wealth in bitcoin requires you to keep exchanging it back to fiat to be able to live!
and that is not to mention all the fluctuations. in the long run you will be a winner and make a bigger profit but in short term it is hard. lets say you get paid and price goes down that week, that means that month you will have less money to live of.

I'm pretty sure that nobody would put 80% of their wealth in Bitcoin if they had the money to do so. Bitcoin is only a payment method that lets people pay for different items in a faster matter.
There's a bunch of people trying to state that Bitcoin will be the New World Order Currency yet they have no evidence of that fact and they're just stating things on wishful thinking. Bitcoin could get transferred to another Currency without any issues and Bitcoin doesn't really need to be an official Currency right now.
I agree, but don't you think the future is going pretty rapidly towards everything digital, and currency/wealth will be no different. So bitcoin or any other, eventually people are gonna save it all in the digital format, at least that is how it looks at the moment.
So the question is, why not bitcoin for that purpose and does bitcoin have in it to be that phenomenon?

I already do.

The reason is because I actually got into using bitcoin in like 2010, bought coins for cheap, and held them for this whole period. And that meant that my bitcoin stash has actually sigficantly outperformed my fiat savings, which is quite amazing.

I currently have around 20-30 coins in my possession that I am holding in a cold wallet.

I'm still consistently buying bitcoins on a regular basis as well.
