I think exactly that! As long as we have the block halving still ahead of us, it is not that likely to see the price drop down significantly. But after the block halving I believe it will go down as a lot hype and speculation in the market will evaporate.

i don't think that you should wait for a price fall as it is bad moment to do that now, because people buys more and more bitcoins, because they hope to sell them for more after halving to get profit
so i think that you should do same and buy now as later, after halving, price will be even higher than it is now, price can rise even up to 1000$ so then it will be too late to buy bitcoins

There are no chances for bitcoin prices to go down in complete 2016. The pre and post halving effects will trigger a year long price appreciations.
