Now is the time to buy for those who don’t want to miss the opportunity. But for the procrastinators, I don’t think they will come to finally decide when to buy, most especially that bitcoin price is currently at its peak right now. In the end, they will gain nothing because of their poor mindset while those who have always been taking advantage of bitcoin opportunity have already store a lot of bitcoin in their portfolio. With this given example, a lot of people can actually relate. But in the end, people like this end up regretting wishing they have always been eager to invest in bitcoin from its early days.

To the procrastinators in the building, when will you finally buy? Or you're looking for one sweet excuse you will use this time around?

I know a person like that and I think that I've even wrote a post about him years ago. He's always late for the party. He's been around for years and never made a good decision with his bitcoin. At first he was careful, then finally bought during the bull run, not at the exact top but close to it, waited until bitcoin goes down, sold near the yearly lows and told me he's down over 50% of his money, so I told him to buy back and he did, but panicked and sold again, this time with some profit. Now he's out and we spoke a few months ago and I told him to buy. He said he'd wait a bit because bitcoin went to 30k so fast that there has to be a correction. He's still waiting for it.

The answer to your question is never. Most of them don't believe in bitcoin and will never buy it. They will regret not doing it, but they'll go into resentment and say that they lost their chance and now it's too late.

TBH, I didn't encounter any single "Jeffs" here in our place. Do you know why? Because not all of them are investing at all, and I don't see any reason for them to introduce Bitcoin to them. I don't want to teach people because I look at them and they seem not interested in investing at all.

I guess I'm lucky that I didn't procrastinate at the time I bought Bitcoin. I don't consider it late as well because I started learning Bitcoin -ber months of 2017, and I bought my first Bitcoin around February of 2018. Though I used it all for trading, I bought more Bitcoins at that time and held it (though I sold it for profit after a few years). On the other hand, I also believe that there are some people out there who already know Bitcoin, but for some reason, don't want to invest in it. Maybe they don't have money or do not know at all. Maybe they just don't like it because they aren't investing at all.

Overall, those who don't want to buy Bitcoins can't be called procrastinators. They have a reason for not buying it.

Not everyone loves what you love, OP. I see no reason at all to prove or, moreover, to force someone to buy Bitcoin. Let them wait. Let them not believe it. Will this cause problems for you personally? No, rather the opposite.
We may not be able to keep up with the interests of those we know, but Bitcoin has many allies, and we are all here today. But that's not the entire globe, right?
Just the best way to live. You don't allow things bother you. I remember when I was literally persuading people to buy bitcoin. Now, I don't give a f*ck.
I have an uncle who told me that bitcoin is not a currency and can never be currency. That it is only the government that prints money and that he is sure bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme and can never get involved. It is not that he is timid o... He is enlightened and has social media accounts. Bitcoin has made me some more money and my uncle is still in disbelief. That's how the life is...

Wait when Bitcoin is at a lower price before buying. From the Q&A, the person who answered only relied on his thoughts but never took action based on what he saw and thought.
His train of thought always stops due to limitations in convincing his actions, so this type of person is worthy of being called someone who likes to postpone success.

If every year there is still a delay because it is still considered too high, couldn't he make regular purchases using the DCA method so he wouldn't be left behind when Bitcoin was worth more than $72,000?

A typical person like that will be someone who is always in a state of regret and complaining, in my opinion.
There is no way to convince such a person to no longer adhere to the principle of delaying opportunities.

And the trajectory continues like that forever and ever and ever and some Jeffs don't have a single Bitcoin in their portfolio and the same way they felt it was too bullish to buy in years past, they feel that the current price is too high to buy.

To the procrastinators in the building, when will you finally buy? Or you're looking for one sweet excuse you will use this time around?

It's quite sad a few people have to miss opportunities such as this because they somehow feel they are going to be scammed or are too unsure about it and ends up not been able to invest until they will just have to regret in the nearest future because they didn't invest when they did had the opportunity, personally I don't wait for an opportunity to pass me by and start regretting, the first time ever I heard about Bitcoin, I never knew anything about it but then I grabbed the opportunity regardless and later I'm now happy I did, when I bought the Bitcoin then, it was in 2019 and today I have sold it and still bought again since then.

If you understand the dynamics of Bitcoin you wouldn't wait for all the up and down before seizing the opportunity els you may never get to have an opportunity to get on the Bitcoin trend and possibly get to stay profitable when there's an increase In the price. Bitcoin will still increase again so even now it's still an opportunity to buy because when it increase by the next bull market it will be a thing to make some few bucks from it.

Mr Jeff is obviously playing hide and seek with himself bro!
One thing about lazy people and individual that aren't committed to doing something meaningful for themselves is that they always have a reason to remain stagnant in life. That level of patient isn't even possible for me to constantly come back to you for a period that is that long.

Procrastination is an enemy to succes and it's only when it becomes late that the procrastinator finally decides to take his life seriously.

I definitely I need a friend like Mike in my life that will be that dedicated to seeing me grow.

Mike to Jeff in 2012 when Bitcoin was $1.50

Mike  : Jeff, will you buy Bitcoin?
Jeff : Nah, Bitcoin is a total scam and Ponzi scheme.

Mike to Jeff in 2014 when Bitcoin was $1000

Mike : Bitcoin is up to 5000%, so you want to buy now?
Jeff: Nah, it's too bullish, I will buy it when it drops

Mike to Jeff in 2018 when Bitcoin was $100

Mike : bitcoin is down 90%, this is the perfect time to buy.
Jeff : hmmm, I've heard Bitcoin is going to zero

Mike to Jeff in 2015 when Bitcoin was $18,000

Mike : bitcoin is about to reach $20,000! Have you bought it?
Jeff : nope, but this time when it drops I will certainly buy

And the trajectory continues like that forever and ever and ever and some Jeffs don't have a single Bitcoin in their portfolio and the same way they felt it was too bullish to buy in years past, they feel that the current price is too high to buy.

To the procrastinators in the building, when will you finally buy? Or you're looking for one sweet excuse you will use this time around?

This is actually what is going on in most people's lives in our society, they feels like buying, but they always have an excuse not to buy, and that's how they keeps on procrastinating buying Bitcoin till this day, even when I believe that it's not too late to acquire Bitcoin, even though the price is quite high, but I believe that the potential of Bitcoin is way much more than it current price.

And for those people that keeps on procrastinating, they actually don't know how dangerous procrastination is to a man's destiny, because procrastination kills more dreams than anything else.

People like this always ask a lot of questions but never act to buy when the price drops he will come when bitcoin is high and will disappear when bitcoin drops 90% that's how people I've met...

When the price drops, it is really very scary to make purchases, as another drop may follow after the fall. And as a result, we have to make our purchases when the price starts moving up. But some continue to wait for another decline, but miss the opportunity to buy at a low price and do not want to buy at an already increased one.

There is no investment that is late just that people don't always stand on their words by investing when the price hasn't make much changes sometimes they don't believe the market would make much change and was expecting for the market to drop to their desired point before entering the market to buy, but forgotten that the more wait the market the more the market keeps growing to an extent buying bitcoin at new ATH seems to be very risky since they refused to buy when it was very low. I know such thing always comes with regret because they couldn't take so serious when the market was down around 30k to 40k they thought it would go deeper than this but changes to new ATH.

To the procrastinators in the building, when will you finally buy? Or you're looking for one sweet excuse you will use this time around?

This such situation, happened to many people around the world. I was one of them.
I knew Bitcoin around early 2017. With certain condition, I was not able to buy any BTC. Because I really don't have enough money to buy it.
I found this forum and tried to earn some money. But, it's not easy to do it here.

Anyway, I came up again in the bullrun of 2021. At that time, previous the bullrun, I was aware to invest in BTC, but again, I have no money. The condition that made me not buying BTC.

Until after 2022, I really did it, It's so pleasure that finally I could buy it although very few amount. But it's enough to start my journey.
It's not as early as you ca, but as ready as you are. Because if you are ready with all things needed, such as the money, the mentality, and also the knowledge, you will be wiser to do the investment.

At this point of time there's no time you purchase a Bitcoin that is not good for investment of Bitcoin but the problem is that you have to examine the market of cryptocurrency first before you purchased this present time because you might purchase now the price began to fall and you can also purchase now and the price also began to rise that is why we say you need to verify and also make a proper research concerning bitcoin before you invest.
You have said it all that due to the acknowledgment Bitcoin has achieved so far, there's no time people accumulate some BTC that it's not a good investment, so why do they need to be concerned about the possible dump that will only create a buying opportunity since halving is around the corner.

The truth is that, it is lack of personal conviction that has lead majority into procrastinating having Bitcoin in their portfolios not because they are not bouyant enough, one must have that conviction that Bitcoin is a coin worth investing on before getting involve. But however, procrastination is a bad deases and many has regreted their actions and reactions as per the early stage of Bitcoin, another truth is that many lack the right investment approach and strategies and they are not even open minded  for new ideas and opportunity reason why they hardly make progress. But well every individual should have the decision of choice of investment Incase things goes side ways they will have no one to be blame but themselves.

To the procrastinators in the building, when will you finally buy? Or you're looking for one sweet excuse you will use this time around?
People with no interest in Bitcoin will always look for excuses whenever you ask them when they wants to buy, and they will be ready to talk about negative things about Bitcoin when the market go bearish, but they will always keep silent when the price is pumping.

Buying Bitcoin has no time, you can buy anytime you want to buy. DCA method is also available in case you don’t have money to buy at once.
And that is why they will never succeed in bitcoin investment. The annoying part is that they would want to share the bad news with other people, trying to discourage them from buying since they do not want to buy as well. Most times, they end up succeeding. When bitcoin was low, they procrastinated; when it increased, they were full of regret. The same thing happened again when bitcoin dipped during December last year. They still did not buy it because they felt it would dip more.

One thing I have come to understand about investment is that when you think you are smart and act like you are not too smart, you will end up delaying the actions you would have taken a long time ago. Looking at the market chart and planning when to buy will surely slow you down. This is the best time to buy bitcoin.

This is funny  Grin to me, because it has happened with some people who are still in my life today, if they had followed my way we would all be rich right now  Grin Grin Grin

They always have some excuses, and I was in the same position as they were, and I was able to still buy some Bitcoin back then, they asked me a lot of questions and I always made sure that I answered them but that's just it.

When they make money from some hard jobs they will spend it on something else, and they will blame the amount that they are making, saying they can't afford to use some part of that money to invest in bitcoin.

I used to ask them that if they never made that much money every month, would they end their lives? If you can't manage when you have nothing you won't be able to manage when you have something, you will use everything as you see it.

God knows I tried for a few people, I even introduced the DCA strategy to them, my very own way of buying Bitcoin every month, it doesn't cost a thing unless you make it cost a thing, most times the way humans reason with the situation and the future is what's setting them back from progress.

Jeff seems to be the type who prefers to play it safe.  While his reluctance to embrace Bitcoin early on caused him to miss out on substantial gains, perhaps in time he'll recognize the potential and decide to become more involved.  There's no point in joking about his caution, Jeff ultimately must travel his own path.  If he one day hops aboard the Bitcoin train, good and  if not so be it.

There will always be people like Jeff around us. All we can do is educate them as best we can, but the choice belongs to them.  Besides, there's a bit of "Jeff" in all of us, right?

Those that really don't have interest but just heard Bitcoin will always say something to reason out why they haven't bought. They are the ones that don't really have any interest in buying and just like watching the price goes up. But those actual people that have interest on it and have understood how it is going to be in the long run won't have anything to say but you'd be surprised that they've actually bought.

It is what it for them when they always say that it's quite expensive. Like right now, Bitcoin has broken into another new ATH reaching $71k, they'd say that it's now expensive and bullish but wait until it goes to $100k, $200k, $500k, $1M and so on.

They'd always say that it's expensive where in fact that they can DCA if they really like to.

I was in Jef's, shoes when Bitcoin was created, I was skeptical too about it, especially because a Ponzi scheme that became very popular in my country, then that eventually scammed a lot of people, so people were naturally afraid and were likening Bitcoin to that Ponzi scheme. It's better late than never, I'm now a Bitcoin investor and this will be my first halving and bull run experience, and I'm looking forward to a massive ROI in this season. Many people are still being pessimistic about the reputation of Bitcoin, some feel like it can crash and vanish with people's funds, others are waiting when the price will dip to it's early days before they will invest, while the knowledgeable ones are keying into this decentralized asset that it's value will outlive all of us.

It sounds obvious to us but we should try and male the effort to think like people does outside our circle. I suppose that the same kind of stories are told in different forums about different things making jokes about "outsiders".

Not everyone has taken the BTC red pill. In fact, although we are all used to talk every day to people here who has taken it, the reality is that we are a great minority, and that the conversation in the OP is even better than most conversations you can hold out from here. (You'll find more easily that they answer: Bitcoin? isn't it a bubble/scam?).
