Many of us here are saying, why is the cryptocurrencies market is getting a dump these days. Some are saying is because of the FuD, others are saying it is because of regulations laws in south Korea and India which is also child of FUD. But did you know that  when ever you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump and you are also attacking the blockchain technology!
Exactly! Almost all of us are complaining why bitcoin dumps, when it will rise again, is it dead now without realizing that we are the one making the price of bitcoin, so it is us who are making those prices and if we are not trusting this one, then how could it become successful? We should all unite together to create things based on our expectations/predictions by simply holding what we do have.

Yes indeed, the price of bitcoin depends on its market, and WE, people engaging in bitcoins and other cryptocurrency is that market that contributes to its price. Whenever it dumps, it's because of more people are selling their bitcoins, it's either because they need money or because of their panic that bitcoin might fall more and that it can't recover, but some of us don't know that we can also contribute for its price to pump up again which we wanted to happen. If we buy bitcoins now, price of bitcoins might rise again just like last year  or even more than that. So stop panic selling and hodl your BTCs and let's all enjoy bitcoin's recovery.  Grin

HodL!
I purchased yesterday as I speculate that it was the bottom price for BTC for 2018. Over the previous 3 years, the low price for BTC was in January, this year it will be February.

Technically, it dropped to the 200 day moving average which so happened to be at the same price as the high in November 2017. (7500 to 7900 depending upon which exchange your looking at) It was also at the lower trend line, so 3 things all lined up for a bounce off of that technical level.

The truth is when ever we sell any coins we cause the price to fall and when we buy we cause the price to rise.  If we want this current bearish  conditions to stop at this moment then we need to stop selling and start buying. Traders are the controllers of the pricing in cryptocurrency and their influences are what determines the supply and demand of bitcoin and altcoins.
Op thank you for this great view and I think this worth many merit as this topic will open our eyes to know why bitcoin drop par time.

The only reason why all those dumps are just a FUD is that neither south korea nor india still don't have any solid plan how to ban cryptocurrencies. The funniest thing is that during those rumours the price will dump and when those governments start  doing something against cryptos everyone will be prepared and (their exchanges will move to another countries for example) it will have absolutely 0 impact on BTC price.

Indeed it is true. The more all of you panic, the more the price of bitcoin dumps. Like what happened last year (2017), the price of the bitcoin almost reach 1M because of the people who holds bitcoin but because of the holidays most of them sell bitcoins and convert it into fiat money so, I think it is the reason why the bitcoin dumps this first and second month of 2018.

I agree to this. Many of us are keep whining and nagging about the price dumping. Which also make some of us feel alarmed and make wrong decisions. That’s why most of us panic selling their coin at a wrong time. We just have to understand and accept that this is how the volatile nature of digital currency really goes.

For any kind of investment you will have people who will have patience, have trust and will hold even if there is a major dip. Others will start panicking when their is a drop and will start selling. I believe I am part of the first group  Smiley.

People know, some of them just can't control it, that's why it's called panic and govs are counting on that. Also not everyone can afford holding BTC, while it's dropping, even though they know it'll increase someday and they're losing the game by doing so, they need their money rn.
Some people do not have choice but to sell their bitcoin in low price specially when they really need it and it is their only way to have money. This situation taught that you also need a job where give you stable salary that can support your daily living because not all the time the price is profitable. You need lot of time to wait for bitcoin to recover its value and gain profit.

and you are also attacking the blockchain technology!

Wow,i wouldn`t say that all the sellers "attack the blockchain technology".They just want to protect their savings.
If the bitcoin market was full off 100% HODLers and 0% sellers ,what would be the bitcoin price then? Grin
It`s wrong to blame the newbies for every panic sell.We just have to trust in bitcoin and the blockchain and do everything we can to support btc worldwide adoption and the blockchain improvement.

You also make the whales richer as they buy cheap coins.

What these weak hands don't understand is that these regulation laws are just old news-- in different form--escalated by fudders. In retrospect, we have china ICO regulations last year. Still, bitcoin's price, including the whole cryprocurrency market valuation has done well until now.

the panic that happens is very normal where they have the limits to do CL and some do not want to lose more money because of the value of their assets, but if the number of people who do hodl bigger then panic will be a disaster for beginners. from what I learned when a bearish release of assets is quickly the best option and buy back at the lowest price with a larger purchase amount. but this only applies if we know the moment precisely  Grin (just my personal opinion)

Exactly the people are contributing more to the situation and making it more worse and that is what we call panic because they know the thing it will rise but still can't afford to loose their money at current and more than half of the investors are doing so around the globe which in turn leads to price dip or you can say crash. They need to analyse the situation and be calm and hodl in order to gain profits.
