I’m new to the crypto world, I have some bad experience yet but I’m being educated little-by-little, based on my experience here in crypto world. I notice that some users when they see that bitcoin and ethereum coin had a very bad drop, so does the token, they are selling almost 70% of their holdings of that token. And I have experienced that when the market goes down, so does the token doing some panic sell.  May I ask, is it advisable to sell the tokens you hold, when the price of your token goes really down?

That depends on you, Because if you do not act the continuing drop of your tokens you will become a bag holder. But if you know the market movement you know what you're going to do here. Of course sell for you and wait for the deepest destruction of those altcoins and buy again.

By the way, you can buy cheap tokens and you will increase it further. To re lift is greater will be your profit.

Hi, I'm not merging, although it depends on the situation, you need to see if there will be another drop in the market in not a big minus you can sometimes merge, but rarely, if the big minus is not worth it all over time.

if it is a good quality coin . when it's price drops briefly . you don't sell it . you only have to wait patiently for some time . it will come back . such as bitcoin ether .

I have gotten into that situation were my tokens was nothing to recall with in the market but i never wanted to sell until the market went up again to that point were i almost landed myself in x1000 profit; i think that was a good one. Nothing like watching out for a good coins or tokens.

Being an ardent admirer of the "buy & hold" strategy, I calmly react both to the ups and downs of the portfolio, having determined for myself a long horizon of investment. The absolute majority of cryptocurrencies awaits the fate of Karma coin, so sometimes I sell coins, if I see that the cost is reduced. And then on bottoms I buy back the coins if I see the point again to enter the game.

I will not sell my coin because one thing for sure it will increase and even soar higher. Just be patient in holding because this ia normal with crypto its price fluctuate and recovers at the perfect timing.

The best thing to do is just hold your coins because in this way you will avoid losing a huge amount of capital and do not panic because it will only make you lose money if you sell your coins at its lowest price.

If the token goes down by 40% to 50%, then I may consider selling all or part of it. But in case it dips by more than 90%, then there is no point of selling it. I will just keep it in my wallet, although the chances of a future appreciation is almost nil.
Honestly, this opinions or advice is only a guide from where the OP or anyone can get an idea of an ideal thing to do how much price to make cutloss etc. From january until now i don't sell any of my tokens because not that afraid to lose but i can't monitor all my coins so if im gonna sell it it might be a loss for me when a coins pumps back and starting to feel Fomo.

Many investors sell their new tokens once it is listed in the exchanges and this usually result in falling price of the token. If the token has a potential to grow the future, it better to hold it.

Of course it will not be sold. First, market volatility is normal. Second, even if the loss is within my tolerance, why don't I wait for it. Perhaps it will surprise me.

My advice, when the price actually goes down you should hold it until the price returns to normal. And instead of thinking of selling or holding back when the price goes down, you better make the target price you want to achieve. So, if the price of the coin is not yet approaching or reach the target you set you will not sell and definitely keep the coin.

yes, I immediately sell my token when the price actually goes down. what I feared then is that I do not want to get a big loss. and obviously until now the tokens that I bought at that price were down.
and I was very lucky to sell my token at the time.

If I bought my tokens at a higher price, I will definitely not sell. Even if it crashed hard but still has great potential for growth, I will take advantage of that crash by buying more! The whole market crashes at times. But it doesn't mean we incurred a loss. It simply means we can buy more tokens at a lower price.

I know that some day they can go up again, so I try to not allow panic tpo ooverwhelm me and cause me selling everything

Panic is the root cause of everything so if other people think of being panic after price dumps a lot of value, then the effect was massive dip of the price. However this isn't time to be afraid and be worried of the dip because in the future you'll be able to benefit of holding your bitcoin as well.

I am not good in trading but in terms of holding, I can say that I have patience for it.
Patience will surely help us in this kind of situation as the market is very difficult to handle if we don't have enough tools and resources for it.
So in my side, I am monitoring the price daily and sell it when I think the price is good. I will not sell if the price goes down very hard.

I prefer to buy promising currencies and only in the long term. Therefore, I almost do not pay attention to the fall of the market. I expect to hold my coins for a year, maybe two. I am sure that during this time the cryptocurrency market will grow more than once and we will see new records in the cryptocurrency market.
