Hey. I wanted to ask your advice. Am I right to make 60% of my savings invested in bitcoin and Ethereum, 40% in EOS and NEO. Bought recently on a price reduction and I'm sure in the long run it will bring me a good profit but maybe cost another distribution of my funds?

maybe eos can be the first choice for you to invest, but if you invest in neo I would suggest to ripples. or maybe the current wave has made new progress in smart contracts
So many times, I have seen people asking questions like where to invest and how to invest, and I tend to wonder if they actually know that we are talking about their own investment in this vein, and I also tend to wonder if they actually get or manage to find some knowledge to assist them in making the right decisions in this space in the first place. This is about an investment, and if you want to make an investment, you should be liable to the decisions you make, which you should only do with proper research.

We can call names here now, but even with that, you should be ready to still do some due diligence to be sure of what you are getting into. When you lose, it is your loss, and when you profit, it is all yours, so learn to make your own decisions like someone rightly said.

I think you made the right distribution and chose good coins to invest in. If you have made a long-term investment in them, they are likely to show a good side. These coins predict a good future.

Diversification is the best way to protect your portfolio from losses. Just split it into parts in invest in different altcoins. Also do not forget to have some fiat left, if you would need to buy some more coins. I hope it would help to answer your question.

The risk of investment in the encrypted market is very large. Especially in bear markets. I think you can invest the money you can afford to invest. Don't put all the money into it. You can take this part of your capital to diversify your investments. Diversify investment and reduce investment risk.

Where and how best to invest is actually dependent on you as an individual. The thing is that there are so many projects to be investing, it is just for you to choose the ones that you feel align with your interest, have the great potential for the future, have solid products that you believe will really give it some great boost in the long run, and then you are able to stick into that future, then you can be investing.

Asking questions of where to invest and how to invest on a public forum is something you will practically get more confused as people will even tell you things they are not even sure of. It is your investment and it should be your own decision to make based on your due diligence.

Also we will see the decreasing of Ethereum popularity
I cant accept this sentence, try to look again on the trading volume of ETH and you will realized that ETH is used most of the time than other coins.

How much profit do you expect from your investment? You said that you invested in the long term, but are you ready to wait a few years for profit?

In the crypto market it's good to invest only the amounts you can afford to lose. This is not because you will lose that amount, but the investment will bring profit in the long run, so you will not use that amount for a while until it brings you good profit. I think the coins you want to invest, are very good, very secure, they are TOP coins that do not have big fluctuations and will bring you long-term profits. I can recommend you the Onthology coin, if you follow its chart, you will understand that it's a good prospect to invest in onthology

I think you should invest more in EOS but less in Ethereum and NEO. There is more and more ICO's launching on EOS platform and it could become the most popular platform for crowdsales. Also we will see the decreasing of Ethereum popularity and I do not sure about NEO perspectives.

You can choose NEO and EOS as your investment cause both of them are a good coin. But I suggest you buy them in some stage. Example you have 10k$ worth of BTC then you can invest on each of them 1k$ first and you can invest again when their price is down or depends on market situation & condition you can invest more. So you maximize your profit & Minimize your lose. I think both of them has a great technology inside in NEO & EOS. But if you put all your 10k$ directly into them and their price is going down day by day of course you will got stress. So its my suggestion for you.

I think you made a right decision to diversification your funds among these coins when the market starts to grow you will be able to get a good profit and I don't think you should look for another portfolio strategy

your timing wass very good if you just bought them. bitcoin and ethereum is going to raise first if the trend turns to bull. you should be active to exchange them to other altcoins when bull comes.

the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin, vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anneli-elicoin-cpu-mining-only-exchange-available-3028302... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

Investing this year is not profitable like it could be but coins like BTC, NEO and Waves are best for the investments. The result of this doing will be high.
You haven't invested yet and you are saying that its not profitable? its ideal to invest now while the market is in correction. You may see a lot of coins dropping low but its advisable to invest now.

Buy now and enjoy later when the market is full of greens again but today, you need to stay and trust the market.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are in deep correction that's why it's ok to hold them now, also I can advice you to trade in pair alt/eth because ETH has potential for double growth this year instead of bitcoin.

It seems to me that there is still a lot of cryptocurrencies that you can add to your portfolio. It will be profitable and correct. You can multiply your profit several times by simply diluting the portfolio with a pair of new cryptocurrencies
This time to pick the potential coin for the investment is very hard, just low profit margins are hard to come by and dreaming of a coin will give you a high income, so I think the market will never can rise even higher. They just give us the price.
I can assure you that picking potential coins in terms of investment is not hard if you know how find one and when to invest in it either. However, you said the market will never rise which you're wrong because this is not the first time the crypto market will experience correction and I believe the reason why most of you guys think the market will never return to the glory day is because you're still expecting some bull run in this year whereas there's nothing much left in this year market than to seize the buying in dip chance.

Mate do you know about day trading go and know how to do day trading is the best well to invest in coins now you will invest and make your profit daily.
Day trading is definitely the best way to invest in coins and it also the best way for an inexperienced traders or investors to loose his/her funds. However, day trading require a lot of time and it not advisable right now either because even experienced traders still encounter loses this days due to the market drastic movement in price.

Should have split your savings 50-50, for cypto and for the other half, traditional stocks. Most coins are closely correlated in crypto so even if you say that it is bound to increase long term, the risk is still there--when bitcoin severely drops it doesn't matter how good you diversified your assets into crypto as they'll all drop as well.
