Till now I found all of my coins through youtube channels coingecko and sometimes telegram groups where do you search for new coins? Embarrassed
Be careful with new emerging coins that are spread in the telegram groups. Be careful and wise if you re going to invest in them because not all of them are promising or even worthy. You must see further with deep analysis and also research.
Some may be scams and some may be shitcoins.

What I look for so far is oly focusing on the listed coins. Butif this is about new coin emerging, I wil rpefer to check on somelaunchpad plaftomr sthat havehigh reputation such as Binance.
This is something that newbies always neglect, they seem to think that any project in which they invest is going to become the next bitcoin and that is simply not going to be the case, there is only one bitcoin and a single coin is yet to replicate its success so I think it is kind of silly to expect the very same results from any other coin, as such it is important to always be on our guard and if possible look for other coins to invest in that have been on the market for a longer amount of time.

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
This forum can be a recommendation for you to find new tokens, namely in the bounties (altcoin) section. You can search for new tokens there and you can do your own assessment of a token.
You cant find anything analytical on this forum. It will be a few links to the site and whitepaper, social media links and a thread that will get shitposted in. Beyond that the analysis is completely on you. You have to face the reality that getting guidance from this forum about altcoin projects is equal to zero. Apart from the projects that get reported as scam in the "Scam Accusations" section, I dont see any value in this. Inorganic marketing is very common through forums as well, you may get misguided by fake accounts.

CoinmarketCap is also a good place to find new tokens,
CMC is an aggregator, not an analytics site.

but I don't trust YouTube, because they may deliberately promote the token and get rewarded.
Finally you said a correct statement.

The technique you have to do before buying a token is to approach it from all aspects, be it how active their social media is to how big the community is, the market approach is a mandatory thing that you shouldn't miss.
Even more important to check the working product, if they have any and if the team has been involved into any previous projects and how they turned out. Still, in terms of legal outlook and of these projects can fail with the investors losing their money and having no legal approach it recovering their money.

I think coinmarketcap or coingecko is enough for you to find the new coins that have already been listed on the market. If you want to find out more, you can visit their website and read everything, including reading their whitepaper so you know if that coins or tokens can grow in the future. But you should be careful as many new coins can not survive for the long term or do not have a bright future. So that is why I do not have the interest to buy or invest in new coins or tokens. It is better to search for the coins with history and see the project still active until now than to search for the new coins or tokens that do not have a history.
So far, coinmarketcap and coingecko are the most trusted places to get information about new coins. But to make sure which new coins are good
for investment, we need to do further research and analysis. We need to check everything about the new coins that we are going to buy, don't be
lazy to find and read information about the new coins. We also need to ask some of our acquaintances who are experienced in the crypto world,
but don't let other people's opinions be the final decision. The conclusion is that it is not easy to judge whether new coins are good or not,
therefore the risk is far greater investing in new coins than investing in old coins that already have a good history. So we must be prepared with
all the risks that will occur if we decide to invest in new coins.
this is one of the reasons why we have this forum. we have ANN section here where you can read deeper discussion regarding the project. you can get some insights on how serious the dev team is by reading their replies on vital questions. you can spot crap ones if they are not very responsive or they have very less engagement to the community. this is where you will get the notion what is the motive of the team behind the project. cmc or coingecko are nice ranking sites but their info is very limited.
i found this forum more informative if you want a more comprehensive insight about the project.

A good suggestion is that we seek more information about new projects in this forum, especially since this forum is indeed the largest crypto
community in the world. So the information we get on this forum is very useful for us to consider whether the project we are going to buy is
good or not. We can also ask directly with the development team in this forum about the information we want to know, and also discuss with
other members. Actually, this forum has provided the information we need, but we must be diligent in reading and actively asking questions
in this forum. Maybe apart from this forum, we can also get additional information by monitoring the social media of these projects. Because
a good project will always actively provide news about the latest developments of their project on social media. So we can judge how seriously
the development team is promoting their own project.

I stalk the ICO calendar of coinmarketcap, coingecko as well the event calendar to see what's new project and new events happening. I also view twitter accounts of exchanges, dex and audit companies to see what they've been doing. Sometimes a dex coin price goes up when they get good marks from audit. I also watch the large risers in coinmarketcap and where they were talked about the earlies. Most of the times its on twitter.

I personally would refer to coinmarketcap if I would want to check out on new coins listed and all. But, honestly, this information can also  be found in many social platforms but you have to look on different references to check on the credibility of the info. Also, you must know how to discern which is which in order to come up to what’s the accurate one.
Using coinmarketcap to find new coins is more than enough, after all I doubt that someone is willing to read the white paper of every single coin that comes out there as that will take a massive amount of time, however when it comes to our due diligence it is important that we are  the ones that do it, it is fine to read reviews online about the coin in which you are interested however there is nothing that can replace doing our own research by ourselves, and as such even if it is time consuming this is something we need to do.

Coingecko is good but if you want to explore further Cointelegram is a good source of new projects I have stumbled some good coins here on their pre-launch although I have a suspicion that some of them are paid advertisements when it comes to projects that you want to support diligent and a piece of good knowledge on what to look on a coin is a must, these platforms can present you projects for you to look but how you check and analyze it is what matters the most.

The sources aren't secret, it shouldn't be a problem. However, investing in new tokens requires understanding truly the risks and guts. It's like putting your money on something that you don't have any reference for if it will withstand the wrath of the market.

My suggestion, choose instead those tokens that are already listed on big exchanges. For example in Binance, you can check the daily market on who performed well or not. From there, you can select a few tokens to risk and study their daily price movement or if you want to go deep with your analysis, lurk at their respective discussion platform, if any.

Experience will teach you how to deal with your problem. Just continue to move forward.

If you want you can find out about the best tokens from Coingeko and Coin Marketcap. I mostly get ideas about tokens from these two.
There's no other place to get those potential tokens that we've got in the market but with those trackers.

Because it will give you good information about tokens. And how much does a token cost, how much volume can you find out? So I think you can get a general idea from this.
There are instances that a token's information that's being displayed there isn't verified. But, the good thing with that is that they're giving a note that they haven't verified the info for that token if ever they haven't done it.

Yes, coingeko is already included in his list but not coinmarketcap. This site is a must to be added in his or anyone's list when checking out for a new project because like coingeko, coinmarketcap is also strict when it comes to listings and stuffs.

You can ensure that every new coin listed on them is high quality. OP also uses youtube and telegram. I am not saying all but almost all of the coins that are posted on these platforms are risky or mostly scams because they are only being shilled. Fraudsters know where to attack and they head on these places because this two is two of the most used platforms that crypto enthusiast uses today.

Livecasino, 20% cashback, no fuss payouts.
I don't search for new coins anymore, since I don't buy or "invest" anymore.

I do still read up from time to time about interesting projects for sure, but as soon as it has something to do with buying, I'm no longer interested.

I like those projects where you can talk and build, and just do stuff for fun. And their tokens aren't even a big part of it. I find them usually by chance, by some interview somewhere or a great article they wrote. Anything else you find is paid efforts, so not worth it.

I don't trust any YouTubers and I don't throw my money on their behest unless I believe in a project. So suggest you don't believe in them, as a majority of YouTubers shill that tokens whose team pay them money.
Ok. Lemme tell you a website where you can check the portfolio of binance, coinbase, or other big VCs, All you have to do is study One by One. and try to find a next big thing that could attract investors in the future.

I also look for it in telegram groups, or ICO websites. There we can find lots of new projects, we just need to do some research before investing.

If you are going to go with YouTube channels you will get spammed with shitcoins. Be it ICO, NFT, DeFi, Metaverse or whatever new cash grab is coming in. My suggestion is to wait for a while and see how the market actually develops around metaverse coins. Most of them are going to be failures anyway but some might survive. That is what you might want to get into.

I go with bitcoin only approach. I rarely of ever get into any altcoin and it's parallels. This has been the best approach for me and for majority of the users of this forum who have been in crypto for a longer time than me. But you can always be the exception and prove us wrong, besides the fact that no one has yet. Roll Eyes
