Im finding my new tokens from the cryptorank and coinmarketcap. I rarely used coingecko to find the new token caused by im not feeling good with its UI. it's an old outdated UI. I don't trust youtube as so many YouTubers are getting paid only to promote the scam token. Im only feeling curious why people are still using youtuber and believe in influencers if they will be fooled by this influencer? I don't even have a special technique. It only needs to be disciplined to do your own research to make sure if you have not invested into the shit scam token like that.

Nowadays, finding official information about the crypto industry is much more popular, we can easily read the information through the web, social networks, ...

however it is also a problem when there are so many sources of information and sometimes newbies don't know what is the right news. But there is no need to worry because time will solve it for us, experience is based on experience so what we get is what we tried.

YouTube to me is not a very good place to search for a new coin, because most of those videos are actually paid campaign to promote a project which might not necessarily be a good project.
I think cmc and coingecko are pretty good places to get new listed coins. However, it's not just about searching for coins, you need to be able to research and see if the coin has potential, so you don't end up buying a project that will rug pull

Was wondering for myself from where do you guys find new tokens? Huh

Till now I found all of my coins through youtube channels coingecko and sometimes telegram groups where do you search for new coins? Embarrassed
Honestly, I avoid those YT videos that are shilling new projects and in Telegram groups, the shilling there is at its best. You're better off searching for the new tokens on your own but remove the two platforms because IMO, they're just going to suck your money without you even noticing it.

Tell me your technique and what you think is important to look at? Grin
Nothing unique and just like what you do but it's on different platforms where you can read biased and unbiased reviews about upcoming tokens.

There are also good crypto information on twitter you just have to follow the right set of people to get information as early as they come, if you are lucky, you also get information on upcoming projects about to launch and probably have the opportunity to be whitelisted early.

If you are looking for yet to be launched and listed kind of info then cmc and CG is not the place for you to look at because only projects already trading you can find there, except you want to monitor your portfolio,
Medium is another good place to get first hand info about projects, however, it all depends on what type of info you are looking for.

Go to coinmarketcap.com/new you will see new loads of projects getting listed on CMC for the past few days but be prepared, many of those new projects are nonsense, shitcoins, scam tokens, and other you name it, make sure you do diligent research before spending a dime on them.

Discord groups. Being in some established projects which have good people who have previously shown commitment to build. Just talking around in discord and making friends with people there can sometimes open up opportunities when developers are launching something. Happens very rarely nowadays though.

Apart from that, I am personally not into exploring new projects much these days due to lack of time. The constant bombardment of new projects, scams and bad actors in the space makes it seem like a very unprofessional and wasteful activity. I know a lot of people are making a lot of money, still, exploring this space isn't the same fun as it used to be. Just a lot of manipulation and scams.

CMC and coingecko are the best place to find coins which are successfully listed on exchanges or going to be in the near future but if you are looking for a coin just from the start then ANN section of Altcoins board is the place for you where you can see 100s of them emerging everyday but not even 1% of them reaching the exchanges so choice is yours.

Coinmarketcap has list of all the coins so you can look there for new coins. They have a section for newly coins they just listed. You can browser through those newly listed coins to find coin that are promising and invest into them after doing your research. Do not just based your research on what Coinmarketcap provides make sure to do some dip research on the project before investing. Projects can supply fake or manipulates data just to get some hype on listing.

So far, I found new tokens from my search results on various platforms, this forum is one example, if in this forum, I usually look for it in Bounties (Altcoins), because there are lots of new tokens trying to market their tokens. Besides that I also searched for it through Coinmarketcap. The rest I usually find new tokens through discussions in various crypto communities (serious discussions) about what is trending.

Besides the community, I got info on the existence of a new token on the medium platform, where there is an article about a new coin that will be launching soon and gives an introduction about their token first.

I look at the launchpads these days. There are also other marketing places as well you could check on telegram too, capitals that people invest money all together so it is like a semi-launchpad where only selected few get together and give a good amount. At the end of the day, those places will always provide you with whatever they think should deserve their money. Doesn't mean that they are always right but at the very least, knowing that you would be investing into what they are investing as well gives me comfort.

I do not invest too much just yet, but the more I profit, the more I will have capital for this side of the world, I won't deposit too much into that idea, just let it grow, my main money will probably stay at good high ranked coins for decades.

Using coingecko is fine, if you add coinmarketcap then most likely you will have most of the coins that appear on the market covered, however I recommend that you do not see Youtube or Telegram to find new coins, and the reason for it is that not only they will let you know of a new coin, the people behind it will try to hype it and this could influence you to invest in a coin that really has no merits at all, so be careful on your journey as investing in new altcoins is full of pitfalls in which newbies fall all the time.

Im trying to find the new token even before it was getting. I dunno about valid network but it seems like that if this is not far better than dropstab. have you used dropstab? It's a great platform with so many innovative things. It's actively listing the potential token even when it has not yet listed on market.

Hmm, actually I found this platform and recommended it by myself in my previous post.

This is a great platform which I started to use daily in my trading this project is really good and I recommend everyone to check it.

But to be honest I am looking for more options on how can I improve my trades and what techniques more professional traders use.

Thanks Smiley
