I agree, but be careful with ICOs cuz there are so many SCAMs projects. Keep your eyes opened to not lose your money for those rats.
Also if you are good on trades, with 2k USD it could be profitable. Maybe worth a look into this.

Well i think it is right to invest your money for you to be able to become safe of the certain amount of your profit, it is gonna be worth it if you for much better investment and it will give also an incentives, as a result your money probably have an interest. Basically in banks or in a well known company who are responsible in coming from keeping up your money. You should search for what is better one.

Holding bitcoin would be the first priority and second is trading since you still have to learn how to do trading so with that 2 million put at least 10% in trading because losses will be experience with the fist few months in trading.

I think it would be a good idea for you to invest in ICO projects. Nowadays, there re plenty of them. What is more, some can be connected with the real sector of the economy. This will help you to save money and get dividends from the enterprise activity.

You have such a huge money. $2mil. You have to do lots of homework on mining, trading, and holding the bitcoin as well. Trading would be good one from my suggestion because no need to worry about electricity usage in mining. Trading and holding bitcoin for long term is a best way to get some profit.

if you have a small fund may be trading his options but if you have a large enough funds may be an option because mining with large funds the results will also be great

My advice for you is you have to take it simple, minning is hard to do, so you better just buy bitcoin then store it for long term. Thrust me, only own bitcoin is good invesent that will give you big profit.

You could invest your money in Bitcoin and wait for a long time and become an enormous by that way you'll definitely gain a huge profit however, it will take time for you to gain. You could also try to invest in altcoins, choose those coins that has a high volatality rate in order to gain more profit.
