My approach to the choice of exchangers consists of several factors, necessarily the volume of daily trading above 100 thousand dollars, verification, well, the presence of a variety of pairs, both to Fiat and to crypto coins. My choice:
Binance,bittrex,bitstamp.

for altcoin trading I usually see the trading volume of the exchange, when the exchange has a high volume and has high security, I will trade there, and the exchange I mean is binance.
Binance is exception but so many big edxchanges use fake online tools for tricking the volume and price data. High security is second to none in both Kraken and Binance.

I guess everyone will be happy if they can always have access to translate the alt-coin they hodl to cash.
So what exchange let us do that if the coin not listed? I guess hard to find!! if you lucky you get it forkdelta

If your coins are listed you hope for volume in a serious exchange like the top ones which has really high requirement before listing
which lots of coin fail to pass because it mostly likely not  a well organized project

I use www.huobimena.com  for trading and also OTC deals

Telegram channel: https://t.me/HBMENA
Thank you for the reference
good too but I did not find a portion of the coins that I have to exchange on www.huobimena.com for me the airdrop coin exchange and prize campaign is still easier to find on Etherdelta, EtherFlyer and forkdelta.
and I think it's easier to use, we only use smartcontract to find out the token trading that we get even though sometimes the price is cheap and this is also a benchmark that the high-priced token in the fordelta before it is registered in the recommended exchange

I often use etherdelta or forkdelta exchanges to trade my coins or tokens,
because at that exchange I felt complete for trading altcoin that I got from a prize campaign or buying and selling from other markets.

Forkdelta is good for tokens that are not yet officially traded. I try to look the information about the exchanges on Twitter of the project, or if the token has been trading for a long time, I look at the coinmarketcap and which exchange has a large volume of trades with my token.

A coin's growth depends upon yes, its project and i would say where it is listed as well. Its like taking your product to sell at a crowded market then taking it to a market where we do have less visitors, buyers and sellers. Yes the respective coin team has to be pay huge to get listed in a popular and the best exchanges like Binance.
But look at the exposure of the coin. We have huge investors trading there. Certainly one or the other day, the coin will become popular based on its service and demand it creates..

Hence, if you are a trader, choose the best exchanges where it has large number of traders. Choose the best coins to trade with as well. I do trade at Binance and Hitbtc.com. I am satisfied with its services as well.
I like this analogy you had replied. That the reason why a coin will become a shit because they listed on unprofessional/unknown exchange service. I agree on Binance but on HitBTC I don't think so, they have a bunch of customer complaint out there.
It's better to choose reputed exchange than the shitty one that might bring you a headache near in the future.

Agreed, listing contributes good to the coins value. Product backing and its succes in the market contributes good, but on listing it adds more value than it gained through the crowdsale market. From the trader perspective it is true to use the best exchanges, than getting stuck on exchanges with low trading volume. Few of which has gained good reputation is listed in the above quote.

Never heard of it but for my unlisted coin I would always used forkdelta or etherdelta if it is a ERC20 token or coin,
But I also use different trading platform depending on what alt-coin I would trade.
We couldn't use single trading platform because for sure not all of our crypto would be listed there.

It depends on the research you do about the exchange because many people will start trading on higher volume exchange due to the coins listed there. Most of the reputable exchange will list the potential coin will help us to make some decent money if you patiently wait for them.

trade my altcoin?, first i have to go to my local crypto exchange and looking for they have my altcoin listed and choose where a high volume and price.
if my local exchange dont have what i have my altcoin already, i will go to CMC and looking for a big volume exchange and find my altcoin i have
Me too, I am searching for a good value to trade my altcoins. I am looking to my exchange if there is my altcoin there as listed and if it has a value already. I am searching them on ForkDelta, IDEX, or Poloniex.

Looking at CMC first will be a good solution to find where the exchanges that already listed our altcoin so we can send the altcoin into that exchange. So far, I used Binance, Bittrex and Poloniex and Kucoin but I also trade on Idex.market for the tokens I already have. I am happy that I don't have any problem with those exchange and I can buy and sell in every day.

With some altcoins it takes time to get listed to exchange. There were more and more altcoins that have come into existence years back, but very few have got listed to the exchanges. We cannot make anything, just can wait until it gets listed to the exchanges. If it goes of without listing to exchanges, the tokens go unused.

Usually I trade Altcoin, like the Binance market but I haven't tried it with: https://www.huobimena.com/
but I will consider trading there and I learn more, hopefully it's better than I ever did.
