You should aim to store your funds on a hardware wallet if you can, those are essentially impervious to hack.
perhaps after the widespread hacking of the Myetherwallet wallet hardware site is now the safest way to store it. although the price is a bit expensive but for the security of funds that it has it will be very useful.

If you want to store coins very secure its must be at the offline wallet. Because online wallet a lot of risky by the hacker. But thank to Allah, until to day it not happened to me. I store to MEW Smiley and always open it via JSON file.

many ways to secure the ETH address we use. to login in MEW I suggest better to embed the JSON file as it is more secure and free. if you want to improve security better able to use hardware wallet ledged or trezor.

for android or Iphone users can use Proxywallet(proxycard.io), the private wallet is available more secure without private key and security level can be added.

Yes, you can stores them in another way by sending eth to blockchain.info, here you can maintain a lot of security measures for your coins. There are many other wallets which support etc but find out the secure wallet and store the ETH.

Couple of DNS servers were hijacked to resolve http://myetherwallet.com users to be redirected to a phishing site. This is not on @myetherwallet side, we are in the process of verifying which servers to get it resolved asap.

For safe ETH storage, besides MEW there are many other secure e-wallets such as Coinbase, Exodus. Also, if you want maximum security you should use offline hardware wallets like Trezor, Ledge Nano S. The Trezor will be more convenient because it can store both Token ERC-20 instead of just saving popular crypto in Ledge Nano S.

Wallet are safe as long as you know how to keep your account safe and how to keep your private key on your safety hidden places. and try to view your coins informatio and improvement or their progress on you blockfolio not on your MEW since opening it often can lead to one wrong move that you can open it on a phishing site.

Only a cold wallet, for the storage of fixed assets. If you like MEW, download the offline version. Purchase Trezor or Ledger. Metamask will not save you, if scammers choose you as their target.

I would advise to store it on myetherwallet. In my opinion, the most reliable. But it's important not to lose your vigilance. There are a lot of phishing and methods of hacking with phishing. If you use this purse wisely, you will not have problems

Since the MEW e-wallet is hacked DNS servers, I think the online e-wallets are not safe to store ETH and any tokens. So that you can consider to using offline wallets instead of the online portfolio, some offline wallets you can use is Ledger Nano S, Trezor. But the disadvantages that you must have to exchange to popular cryptos like BTC, ETH, BCH, USDT then store in hardware wallet.

there is no other choice, from now on we have to start switching to hardware wallet or online wallet. too many phishing sites for MEW and also lots of attacks by sharing ways. I think MEW is getting fragile.

do you have any updated information? The problem has been solved ? how can I use MEW safely?
I did not find any updated information my suggestion is don't use your Myetherwallet couple of days wait for few days until someone updates latest information.

Couple of DNS servers were hijacked to resolve http://myetherwallet.com users to be redirected to a phishing site. This is not on @myetherwallet side, we are in the process of verifying which servers to get it resolved asap.
I will recommend you to store your ETH very securely on hardware wallet which reduces the threat of hacking like Electrum or Ledger nano(s) is a very good wallet and dont use any soft wallets easily prone to hacking.

Now we don't have any choice, keeping your coins in any web wallet is not safe so hardware wallet is the best option.

That's even seemingly such a reliable purse and hack all the same you can! I think if you really want to, you can crack any wallet, even hardware! When dealing with crypto currency, you need to be more careful and not when to redeem your secret key!

Our wallet isn't anonymous.  You still can be tracked by hackers if you are careless with malicious individual. Your bitcoin can be stolen from your wallet where the internet reach. Just be careful with someone who will privately message you with a link to visit.
Trezor or Ledger is the only safest way to store your wallet.

The best choice is to store the basic funds on a cold wallet without access to the Internet. For current operations, you can use MEW with Metamask. Do not be greedy and buy Ledger or Trezor.

I just deposit my ethereum and other tokens on binance because I am afraid to lose all my money . I am using myetherwallet using private key so I'm  a little bit scared .
We are both using private keys and right now, I am scared using MEW because it is too dangerous right now to open my wallet using only my private keys. Yet, it is too risky, I can't do anything because I am just using android phone and metamask is not applicable with my phone. I am searching right now on where I can store my coins in my android. If anyone will suggest, I appreciate it.

You can try to install firefox mobile. I heard that with firefox mobile there is a possibility to install Metamask.

Store your Ethereums and erc20 tokens on a hardware wallets like Ledger Nano S and Trezor and you are safe from them. Ofcourse, you need to keep your passphrase safe and away from internet connection. Im also keeping my tokens and Eth in a Ledger so I dont have any worries for these phising sites.
