I just deposit my ethereum and other tokens on binance because I am afraid to lose all my money . I am using myetherwallet using private key so I'm  a little bit scared .
We are both using private keys and right now, I am scared using MEW because it is too dangerous right now to open my wallet using only my private keys. Yet, it is too risky, I can't do anything because I am just using android phone and metamask is not applicable with my phone. I am searching right now on where I can store my coins in my android. If anyone will suggest, I appreciate it.

actually, this is not a case of MEW for no reason. However, this could also be due to user errors alone are easily sometimes directly provide the private key on a phishing site. so I think the system is still safe and decent MEW is used.
you are right, but very few users understand if the DNS is redirected, the user just makes sure the URLs that are opened are correct, not the correct DNS

Oddly enough I'd say coinbase is the safest location for your Eth as its fdic insured so they have to replace the funds if they lose them.

I m using only My Ether wallet.  Hardware wallet is really safer than MEW ?  and keeping the entire stock on exchange is not the smartest option aswell.

You are afraid to lose all of your money and depositing too much with binance doesn't guarantee that you are safe with it.

If you are thinking that your tokens are even safer with binance, you're thinking it wrong. You better get your own hardware wallet which will give you stronger security.

I'm not saying that hardware wallets are totally secure but the security of it is much recommendable and higher than MEW.

Couple of DNS servers were hijacked to resolve http://myetherwallet.com users to be redirected to a phishing site. This is not on @myetherwallet side, we are in the process of verifying which servers to get it resolved asap.
I think the best way to protect your money is to make use of hardware wallet... The use of metamask is also another save way to protect your money.... Because you don't need to provide your private key in other to access your account... But the most important thing is that you should always check the URL address very well.... Before inputting your information.

I store on the purse TREZOR, but recently there were problems and the server did not work. You could not come in and get your money. This method does not solve the problem and it's sad

For someone who has not been able to purchase a hardware wallet how good is use of Metamask in the meantime? Security wise is it way better than myetherwallet?

It's already fixed If I am not mistaken but I am safe because of using metamask instead of private key . I will just stay my ether in mew I did not move anything.

Every ETH wallet except exchange and MEW at the moment. There are a lot of wallets that you can use to store your ETH and keep them safe like Coinbase or you can use a coldstorage wallet like Ledger to store your ETH, it's the most secure wallet for now.

MyEtherWallet is losing trust from its community after this second DNS hijacking attack. It is not as trusted as before and many people accuse the team behind MEW of taking a part of responsibility of the big losses after this sad hack. I think we should using Metamask online or buying a hardware wallet, it is a lot safer.

Funds cant really be hacked if you didnt input your private keys into the phishing site.MEW itself doesnt have access on the keys generated into each user. The problem here which is the DNS hack where it do redirects into other site.If you are careless enough then you will really put up your keys and will really result on to be hacked but well since you do ask for safer storage then i would always recommend hardware wallets.

I hold my tokens on the Trezor. I think it's a safe way. I advice didn't transfer tokens from the mew few days and didn't accepting wallet with private key

I save ETH in Imtoken wallet. Most of the risks that occur when the smartphone is lost or stolen. To anticipate it always keep the private key or jason filesnya elsewhere. so we can still reopen it using another device. With the case at MEW yesterday makes us more careful in storing our digital assets, because at any time we can lose if there is a hijack of our account. So wherever the place will be risky too. Maybe someone can provide another solution.
