OP have requested suggestion on investment almost ten months back. Out of the suggestions he could've made good profit or he should've experienced loss by now. By that time ethereum was trading around $3000 to $3500. If I'm not wrong he has got a bigger opportunity to invest by now for assured profit in the long term.
but the problem is that OP did not return , at least to update us for what he just decided to invest because we all have given our opinion and views to what is the coin is good for him.
finding a better one will serve him money in the future if he wanted to keep holding all coins that he might buy.
I know that this kind of an old thread. But if I were in your shoes as of this time if I were to have $30,000 to invest in cryptocurrencies, I am more comfortable in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Maybe $20k on BTC and $10k for ETH. They’re truly the most worthy cryptos to invest in my opinion. Ain’t sure about MATIC and ADA’s future though, so I am not really bullish on them except for BTC and ETH.
20k in BTC meaning he will gonna have almost one bitcoin? or better to at least add Binance to his holding divided to 3?

$30000 is a very big amount of money, of course an altcoin with good fundamentals like Solana deserves to be invested there,
especially when the price is low, then you will get more coins, and holding for the long term will be very profitable

Investing in Solana can be risky. Because they already had a lot of problems and their blockchain went down. It is true that there is a lot of discussion in the market about Sol and it has already achieved the top position in the market. But since you want to invest a large amount of money, you should not invest in a project that is struggling with the problem. So I think you should decide to invest only if you are comfortable following the activities of the solana team.
Yeah, other blockchains like HBAR and CNDL can match or beat the speeds of Solana and both have 0 down time. Maybe proof of history doesn't work.

it depends on how you see the current market. someone see it as a crash while someone see it as a opportunity. it is up to you mate.

i have few suggestions for 2022-2023. but keep in mind these are emerging tecnologies and hasn't been well established. so the risk is your always

1. zk- rollups
2. cross chain messaging
3. account abstraction

follow some projects from above sectors. dont follow projects that trying to copy ethereum. those are temapry booms that end  very quickly.

By account abstraction, you mean like 0xMonero's off-chain transactions and private bridge?

The only coin I can advise anyone to invest in is to invest in bitcoin because of the reliability bitcoin has, bitcoin is the safest  coin to invest on. Cryptocurrency can be risky it is not very good to give investment advise to tell people where to invest their money. It is better to make research about cryptocurrencies to know the one that will interest you.
it's better to analyze first in your own way to find out what you will do for investment, but I agree with my friend above that the safest thing is to invest in bitcoin because it can certainly continue to increase in time from when we buy. bitcoin has continued to prove that and there is no doubt about it.

If you want to be safe then invest in bitcoin, if you want to make money faster, bigger profits then go to alttcoins. As long as you invest with money that can lose and are willing to take risks to get big profits.
yes, if you want to be safe it is clear that bitcoin is a promising investment, very doubtful if we try on altcoins because it will be very risky at times like this, because altcoins may disappear from the exchange. but if you want to also impose better altcoins with great potential such as BNB, ETH and maybe the top rank in CMC.

For 30000$ you can invest 50% in bitcoin and the other 50% in altcoins that you find worth the investment. But do your research before investing because there are a lot of shitcoins on the market.
it could also be like you said divided by two, one in bitcoin and the other in altcoins, but still the potential is clear. If you want big profits, you can also buy coins under $ 1 which of course there is a risk and if it works it's pretty easy to get.
Now it's all up to those who have fixed capital to always analyze and don't hesitate to look for information.

It is not advisable to invest all $30k in one altcoin, regardless of how good Solana may be. Luna also used to be the top 10 coins in the market and no one would have thought it would die until that happened. You should be aware that altcoins are always risky, so do as people say, don't put all your eggs in one basket. If yes, just put 30k bitcoins only. I am confident that other than bitcoin, there will be no altcoins suitable for all-in.
If I were to pick one project to put all of my money "30k" in, that would be ICP. The internet computer will replace the current internet we use and will transform all websites into Web3. It's the only chain that can actually host and run websites on the blockchain.

Regardless of how good altcoins are, I don't think you should invest all your money in them. Maybe ICP is a potential coin, has a lot of potential for future growth but crypto is unpredictable, maybe it's still dead like Luna? So don't invest big money in one coin but split them into many different coins. In addition to ICP you can invest in top coins Atom, Dot or Sol....are potential coins no less than icp.

Solana is the best for long term holding as of our situation now , imagine that even bitcoin made it harder to push while Solana continues to increase little by little over this dumping market.

But with 30k of funds? i think i will spread those amount in separate coins like Solana , Ripple , and of course Ethereum as this is asked in altcoin section not counting my Bitcoin that had been vested for years now.

So in one sentence you write that you shouldn't give investment advice when it comes to cryptocurrencies, but in the previous sentence you recommend investing in Bitcoin?

Agree that Bitcoin has been the most secure cryptocurrency investment so far. However, when it comes to earning option, I think Ethereum may have the greatest opportunities right now. If the fork from PoW to PoS goes smoothly, ETH 2.0 could become the new leader in the cryptocurrency market.

Solana is high risk considering that it has broken more than any other chain in the top 500. It's not safe to keep your funds on that blockchain. Blockchains are about trust and you can't trust your funds on a chain where they may get stuck. This is one of several reasons as to why I have placed my bets on ICP and HBAR instead of SOL.
