A lot of the old and established altcoins that had their ATH back in January 2018 like NEO, IOTA or Dash are nowhere close to that now.
In the last 3 years a lot of new projects emerged and some of them probably do stuff better than the old coins. Those established coins really need to up their development and/or public relation management to keep track and to don't slowly fade away into irrelevance.
Also i don't really want a Altcoin Run like back in 2018 with  BTC dominance going down to 30%. That was just not healthy and caused a long bear market.

In my opinion we already in altcoin bull run even some altcoins not reaching their all time high but at least they still increasing and not bad if the coin went doubled the price only, still make a profit. I don't know if we can see again the altcoin bull this year so hopefully.

I think we still verry far from that. Maybe it will happen in the end of Q2. Right now i think we will keep seeing our portofolio keep dropping because of market correction. Let's wait for the Biden stimulus i think the price will rise a lil bit.
But at the moment I see that the market has started to slowly improve, so that the average Altcoin is already in the green zone again, is this the end of a correction or will there be further corrections in the near future?
Market has improved since Q4 of 2020. And then it spills out to 2021 and we've seen the market going into bull run already. I don't know why others is seeing that the altcoin market is not is a bullish phase. We have seen major coins getting into ATH already. But the difference is that there are no shitcoins today in this bull run, except for some pump and dump.

I think the correction that occurred is just a market game to stabilize the dominance of bitcoin in the market.
the correction will definitely continue, but we also see the recovery continues. remember this market has not received a long correction. and the current rally in the market is still going on. bitcoin and many altcoins are still strong with their current value. I believe this rally will last quite a long time.
Yes, and it would be good if this rally could continue for a very long time, because in current market conditions some people can still get daily profits through the trades they do and I personally feel the same way.

The stage belongs to Bitcoin and the coin trends NFT.  Altcoins will soon be promoted as Bitcoin has a more stable value.  I often observe the BTC.D chart to predict when to buy altcoin.  I think April will be the time when Altcoin has the strongest price increase.
Usually in March every year Bitcoin will drop in price but this year Bitcoin has reached new ATH.  This process takes longer for the cash flow in Bitcoin to become more stable and to the altcoin flow.

I think that the price of altcoin would grow in future it must be useful for people. It is very important to create demand in token.
There are ecological projects that help to protect nature. Here is written how it is important to protect a nature https://moss.earth/blog/
I think that in future the demand in ecological projects will be big because we live on one planet and it must be clean.

Just because the price of some other old coins has risen to reach the new ATH does not mean that everything should be the same, the market is not like that.  There are also many old coins that are almost useless and their plans are unrealistic so you will not want to buy coins like this if you think that it has no potential and not a promising project.  Yes, there are some coins that gain a higher percentage in 24 hours or an hour higher than Bitcoin, but it cannot be changed that it will surpass Bitcoin in dominance.

You are right. Even though most of the crypto hit their all-time high values, still there are a few out there which are awaiting some momentum. I believe, those should have some developments pending or not in the reach of real investors or traders. And this also shows that bitcoin and other alt prices are not deviating their prices. They are on their own.
FYi these days investors and traders are only choosing the coin based on how good progress already made by the team. The fact that so many times the legit coins getting pumped again and again.
These days people were doing so many analyzations to make sure if they were choosing the right coin.

Few old projects have made the ATH, like enj, doge, bnb, eth but most of the old projects are still far away from the ATH. Can we call the current situation bullrun for altcoin?  I think no. Most of the times, it’s the affect of bitcoin rise.
So, when are we having altcoin bull where altcoin will be outperforming bitcoin? Or no more such things happening at all?

be patient, altcoins will soon show their performance, if you look at the top altcoin charts like Cardano, Ethereum, and Binance,
it has already given a sign that we are in the bullish season for altcoins, look at FIL and BAT also have increased 100% more,
patiently will be beautiful in one time!, just hold and buy when a dip occurs.

The best altcoin is definitely Digibyte.

Unfortunately this altcoins season is very selective, only few out of the majority has really made a big price impact the rest are just stalling for whatever reason,  and Unfortunately for me I am holding some of this alts that haven't moved a muscle and it is very annoying to say the least.

Alt-Coin is dependent on Bitcoin(BTC). If BTC goes up, definitely Altcoin also goes up.
It's mean BTC is the founder of Cryptocurrency
So whenever BTC make a pump I mean it's gone up Altcoin also goes up.

I think altcoins cannot replace bitcoins, because when botcoins go up we don't care about altcoins, because when bitcoin goes up some altcoins also go up.  indirectly bitcoin also has an influence on altcoins, there are also altcoins that go up not because of bitcoin but because the coin has the potential to reach its ATH.  I hope to see altcoins experiencing a bullrun soon and maybe it can make altcoins better even though it won't be like bitcoin.
So true, altcoin market is damn too much slow comparing bitcoin move. Few altcoins received massive boost though, however I firmly believe that the next few weeks we will see some big changes which lead the alt market. Anyway, this is completely my point of view and in crypto anything can happen.
Today, much attention is focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as those projects that have made a huge splash in the cryptocurrency market in recent years, such as half a cadot. I believe the altcoin season will be the same as it is now, lifting the altcoin slowly but surely.

One can not say these coins rise due to the BTC rise. You must ask yourself why not other altcoins rise. These old coins rise just because of their potential not because of Bitcoin otherwise these will also drop like other altcoins. I agree many of the good altcoins are still struggling and I won't say currently altcoins are in bull mode. I don't expect this time that altcoins will outperform BTC. I hope sooner we will see altcoins bull run but can not say it will be like BTC or not.

...so when it comes to old altcoins only the ones that are the most solid and that have the most recognition have any chance of breaking their previous all time highs.
I second that as well, like Ethereum as an example, imo, it's pretty different from other coins considering how stable eth has been for the past couple of years, and thus as expected it broke it's former all time high during this Bitcoin bull run, having said that, most of these altcoins are pump and dump coins, so they basically just dump after their hype, and there's no way to expect them to break their all time high, even as investors await the altcoin bull run, it should be expected only from altcoins that have a good ecosystem and that is somewhat sustainable in the long run.
I think that another problem is with the name itself, an altcoin bull run, some people think that just because some some altcoins are going up that the coins they are holding will go up as well, and this is not the case, there are thousands of altcoins and while there are few decent ones released each year for the most part as you say we find nothing but pump and dump coins, people keep them thinking the day will come another altcoin bull run will appear and the price of their coins will go up but no one cares about such coins, they have failed already and only those that were good will rise in value once again.

I think you are talking about the phase when BTC starts to cool-off while a few Alts start to pump. The Alts basically rise in relation to BTC and you can then swap Alts for more BTC.

This doesn't seem to be happening this time around. During the past ATH, BTC kept rising in dollar terms and a lot of Alts also did the same while remaining at parity with BTC. We are seeing a new ATH just going into this weekend. There has also been news about SEC investigation into Binance. The scenario is ripe for either a capitulation OR another bullrun if the market sustains the momentum through this bit of bad news.

That means another bull-run for everything in dollar terms. If you are hoping for an Alt-coin bull run against BTC, I don't think that is coming. That happening would actually be an indication of an impending bear market, imo.
