The stage belongs to Bitcoin and the coin trends NFT.  Altcoins will soon be promoted as Bitcoin has a more stable value.  I often observe the BTC.D chart to predict when to buy altcoin.  I think April will be the time when Altcoin has the strongest price increase.
Usually in March every year Bitcoin will drop in price but this year Bitcoin has reached new ATH.  This process takes longer for the cash flow in Bitcoin to become more stable and to the altcoin flow.

Few old projects have made the ATH, like enj, doge, bnb, eth but most of the old projects are still far away from the ATH. Can we call the current situation bullrun for altcoin?  I think no. Most of the times, it’s the affect of bitcoin rise.
So, when are we having altcoin bull where altcoin will be outperforming bitcoin? Or no more such things happening at all?
I will suggest to invest in new listed altcoins which one listed in a few months or will be listed in a few months. I can't find a altcoins to invest between 200 altcoins, but you think only a few altcoins tasted this bull run pump. Almost every single altcoins is in on the making market.
New good projects mostly pump from 10% - 100% pump so that can be a good option for investment and if you’re lucky enough to see more good projects, you’r better grab that opportunity because that’s very rare to happen.

Altcoin bull happened already, and right now we are testing the trend if we’re going to sustain this kind of up trend or we’re going down now, the time can tell but you can start preparing for now.

Many new projects that needs deep analysis in which more time that can be have a huge potential to increase and can be demand in the world of crypto currency. In the first place we can't guarantee that can be have a huge profit or in worst case the project will not reach the target value. Somehow we take a risk in someway, just like what happened nowadays that the bitcoin is so huge value and we hope those altcoins that we have will increase also but only time can tell and we must wait unitl it come.

Old altcoins have established a good reputation already and that's the reason why most investors chose to invest with them. However, we might not notice their increase during the ath but I'm sure that the altcoin season isn't over yet. There are still lots of things that might happen soon.

Thats gonna happened whether we like it or not. Usually altcoin bull run is different and weren't gonna rely on the bitcoin movement. Yes majority of altcoins now have increase and now above their ATH but also some haven't, its made clear that the bull run is not for every body, let say people also see which one to grab and bought right? Choose a good altcoin and definitely that will be a huge advantage when the bull season is ready to roll.

Or maybe we haven't recognize clearly the altcoin bull run it's because we are looking for a bull run like for bitcoin which is a 200% higher than the dumped state or more than that. But to be honest seeing the market value of Altcoins today like ETH, BNB, PolkaDOT and LTC i guess this altcoins were made it to bull run. This altcoins were already valuable compared on their past market value and what's more good about it was this altcoins are also worth to invest too.

all old undertakings will run by their ATH as 2017. A significant number of the top performing coins from earlier years are not proceeding also at this moment, and a considerable lot of the new coins took the spotlight. On the off chance that there's no advancement on the coin, its simply unadulterated theory. Back in 2017 was additionally when ICOs were blasting yet just around 5-10% have really succeeded. Regardless of whether were in a bull run, not every one of the alts will siphon as it did. In any case, after a BTC siphon its at that point time for the altcoins to sparkle.

I like LTC just because of its branding. (btc gold, ltc silver thing) What other feature LTC has other than being a little bit faster? Nothing. XMR is kind of cool but the markets don't see it that way I guess.
LTC is implementing MimbleWimble, it’s testnet is running as far as I know. So, it’s speculated that MW implementation will be the killing update and it will boost up LTC price to $500 in no time. And, regarding XMR, I'm really not much surprised. Despite privacy coins are being popular, there are more regulation which can be the reason if privacy coins not getting pumped.

All altcoins, including those listed by you, despite the fact that they have reached ATH are still far from their high against the dollar. I believe that the beginning of the altcoin season can only be considered when their price will rise not only against the dollar, but also against bitcoin.

Because some old projects don't even have the reason to exist if there's that prolonging coin that will surely do the same as what you mentioned in the OP.
Indeed most of it are affected in Bitcoin's price movement, and I can see that in my own vision as a crypto investor.
When I think of buying, I feel like having a quick peek in the alts if there's more opportunity to buy at. I see ETH and all the following coins and then I do buy for ETH then might not consider buying coins in the lower rankings.

I guess the altcoin is not yet getting another bull run as the altcoin is not increased so high.
Maybe the altcoin needs more time to wait for the price can start to increase.
I am sure the altcoin will get its turn to increase and I guess that the altcoin season can come in this year.
Maybe after bitcoin breaks $60k, the altcoin will get the time to increase, and once it is coming, many altcoins will have a chance to lift the price.
While we are waiting for that moment, we can buy more amount of the altcoin that we think the coin can increase so high in the future.

...so when it comes to old altcoins only the ones that are the most solid and that have the most recognition have any chance of breaking their previous all time highs.
I second that as well, like Ethereum as an example, imo, it's pretty different from other coins considering how stable eth has been for the past couple of years, and thus as expected it broke it's former all time high during this Bitcoin bull run, having said that, most of these altcoins are pump and dump coins, so they basically just dump after their hype, and there's no way to expect them to break their all time high, even as investors await the altcoin bull run, it should be expected only from altcoins that have a good ecosystem and that is somewhat sustainable in the long run.

I don't think it has started yet, as for the altcoin or the market we cannot expect growth like in the past, since the market participants have a lot of knowledge about this market, so only the new projects are highly appreciated.
Not all new projects can be appreciated by everyone at this time, even some of them are new projects with unclear hype and form, so it would be very risky if such a project was valued at a high value.
a new project arrives, pumps then dump for a long time.
it's not all like that. some new projects still have a strong market because they build them in a strong market as well as support from a strong community.
but it was true, more of them just created hype, then left.

So, when are we having altcoin bull where altcoin will be outperforming bitcoin? Or no more such things happening at all?
Just wait for it, for it will surely come. We get to see that alts rally once Bitcoin exhausts itself on the dominance chase. The market dominance data is my constant reference to check if the tides are changing. Whenever Bitcoin drops in price I check its dominance and if it remains at over 55%, then I get reassured that the Bitcoin bull hasn't come to an end. This has been my guide. Alts will begin to bull when Bitcoin begins to dip. What we see with certain alts pumping now is just a flash, and not the real bull run for alts. Wait for it, for the alts run will surely come.

well, for some altcoins, maybe their Bullrun has arrived and hit a new ATH. it was due to a boost in the price of bitcoin. however, we don't know when altcoins will outgrow bitcoin. So far, I don't think that's going to happen. because when bitcoin collapses, it will bring in altcoins. however, the potential for Bullrun for altcoins is still quite large this year, especially the popular altcoins.

I think the conditions of the market has changed dramatically and with them the possibility for altcoins in general to make an altcoin bull run. We must understand that for the most part a great deal of the growth in the market of altcoins depends on hype and most commonlypeople get hyped about new projects, so when it comes to old altcoins only the ones that are the most solid and that have the most recognition have any chance of breaking their previous all time highs.

It's good to see that altcoin market is much more independent from Bitcoin and each other than they were in 2017. Coins are selectively rising and falling depending upon their performance and events. Today Flow even topped bitcoin on marketcap to reach number one in coinmarketcap. Whether it was a glitch or an actual rise, it did showed that even new and less known coins can topple the list.

It's possible that no such thing will happen again.
All eyes are on the popular coins right now and if ever there is one that will bloom out of the bush the percentage is too low.
That era that we are expecting is long forgotten.
I don't think we will ever see that again if we also consider the fact that many stable coins are being created and that where all the funds go whenever they want to make a profit instead of putting it with altcoins. That's the life of altcoins before that had been taken away.
