There is something to add to this, people have become rich because of bitcoin and it's not a surprise, but what I consider risky is the salary, if someone gets the salary in bitcoin then he is risking 100% of his income in bitcoin, but if he received in bitcoin and sell then it's the same as receiving in cash/fiat. Besides this risk there is also the good part that bitcoin price can go higher and he may get "extra" salaries at the end of the year.

Bitcoin is not everything but just an online currency that has some advantages when comparing with other currencies/fiat. So you can still find a job and work and get the salary/dividends or something else in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is already changing lives in those that don't have the luck of being born in a first world country. Out there people dont have the luxury of owning a bank account and access to markets.

I fully agree what has been said from the above responses. I've been using the BTC/altcoin exchanges since 2014 & gave me so much advantages up until now - transaction fees, ease of transfer, no human intervention except you & so on...the fact that I'm a resident of a 3rd world country. Nowadays, I can even send $2-worth of BTC to my bank acct, 24/7 just paying a dust of my btc for transaction fee while comfortably sitting on my chair at my home. just WOW! so yeah, btc or digital currency in some way greatly affects some of the ordinary person's life for the better.

but as full-time job. nope..not for me as of now. i'll leave that to the crypto experts - they can mine, create their coin, do the trading etc.

Right now here are not many opportunities to earn with bitcoin as there are in fiat, and also it seems the pay is better in fiat so get a job since that is easier, if you can find a way to earn bitcoin then use it together with your main way to earn money.

Bitcoin basically is currency, so people will not easily drop out to their job in real life without don't know how the risk and what they can offer to earn bitcoin.
In my case, bitcoin help me to find a project, because basically I'm a freelancer, I have a some trouble with payment system which I can't use $ to transfer the payment, and I know bitcoin is very useful, plus people who have a great project idea pretty much.

To make a person's future become better then put some work and effort whether for day jobs or bitcoin jobs. If a person does have a day jobs then it's not a good idea to move and focus to bitcoin and challenge the price volatility. If they really care for bitcoin price then their main goal is to hold their coins which is not a good idea if they are using the money as source of income to support their daily needs.

So to keep their holding coins they need extra money (fiat) that was meant for daily needs.

Bitcoin is just another form of money and money has the power to change anyone's life for better but not the mentality. So yes, bitcoin can make peoples life better. Bitcoin can help a person to buy anything which money can buy.

But it may take some more time if that person is not holding a big amount of bitcoin right now. Probably 5-7 years down the line, we all will be able to see a better life with the help of bitcoin.

Obviously you need a job to have a better future. Depending solely on bitcoin for having a stable future is actually not a good idea. And Bitcoin is just a currency, i don't see how bitcoin is going to help him get a job. Bitcoin is just a way of getting paid after he gets a job.

When you give a thought to the 3.5 billion people on Earth who live in miserable conditions, from paycheck to paycheck, in some cases starving.

These people dont give a shit about banking or finance, they just need some food and shelter. Most people already have a phone in africa, so they can just come online and earn some bitcoins, that they can then use to buy food.

Bitcoin is not for the 1st world, it's for the other 3.5 billion people.

Around two months ago I have stayed my work and moved for live in another country. And today bitcoin is the only way to earn some money to me. And I can say it's not so bad money. I earn like minimal salary per month with current price. And I hope the price will not fall under 900$, cause of this price is optimal to me.

You can have a real job and you can invest the money on btc (not all of them of course). In our days, fiat economy it's not that good, so in my opinion, btc can help many people, like me :p. I have see many changes in my life after using btc. It's more easier and kind of more save, from the point that in real job you can be fired any time. I know, many can say that if btc stop exist or that the price can go very low, yeah, when something like that happened you will have profit without do anything at all. Wink

It's much harder to find a job that pays you in bitcoin instead of fiat imo. There's the services section but you won't find much work needed there.

What bitcoin job they will do if ever they will move to bitcoin? An average bitcoiner is having a hard time to find some stable bitcoin related jobs. Signature campaign? It's not forever and can't be considered as a stable job that will give a person a fixed income in regular period.

If those people who are having a hard time finding a real life work, then it's reasonable to do some bitcoin works for the meantime. But you know people don't need to stay 8 hours or more a day to work on a bitcoin work so if they are fit to work on real life job, find a way to have one.

You can't make bitcoin without hard work unless you steal it or with big risks. Also you can't count on bitcoin to be a replacement for a workplace. Of course that if you are a rich person and invest a lot of money in bitcoin you could make the decision to quit your job and live of your bitcoin investment. 😉

Find a Bitcoin job will be harder than find any other job, because Bitcoin still has many growth potential and most people still don't use it for payments. Bitcoin and altcoin development are exceptions, of course. Bitcoin will only be useful for finding jobs if you or you country are kind of cut off from the financial market, maybe for international sanctions or if send money from or to your country is too expensive

But Bitcoin opens some new ways to earn money, like signature campaigns and trading. Can't be considered jobs, but might be the difference between being a homeless and having electricity and something to eat if things goes wrong

The level of unemployment in my country is quite high and my investment in ICOs have brought about great returns, so I will agree with the OP, it can change someone's standard of living. Even when you compared the amount some people earn through Signature campaign in this forum is more than what some teachers earn in some private school.
