I'm betting on 2:

sexcoin because of the porno industry support
Franko because the developer is also involved in ripple

not sure if ripple qualifies as a ALT coin

Life, Love and Laughter...
I don't think that any system will reach BTC price, I would rather speak about which system will be as successful as BTC and I cast my vote for Ripple.

this whether you like it or not.

Peercoin
i voted none.

i think a few of them will hit the $5-$10 mark though (ppc, ltc, nvc), won't be $100+ but a huge price increase nonetheless.

So, none.
Well I doubt any of them will reach bitcoin's price in 2 years.
That doesn't mean they won't be worth a lot more than they currently are.
Maybe.

So, it seems - none of them.

pay me and I work for you
Any of the coins might attain to a higher value, or to no value. We don't really know because that is in the future.

Investors are not likely to just invest in bitcoin, but they will also go looking to invest into some of the alt coins.

We have not even seen the tip of the ice-berg yet, in regards to the investors who are yet to come.

In POS we trust
None... except maybe Onecoin, but it is impossible to get 1 Onecoin   Wink
In longer term maybe some POS coins like PPCoin, Novacoin or YACoin might reach bitcoin level, but that is very unlikely. Other coins are even more unlikely. Bitcoin is widely accepted for bussiness, all other coins lack this acceptance and are therefore valued lower.

 Embarrassed

The name was my choice and I had thought it to be a clever blend of the concept of crypto and cryogenics (i.e. cold storage) - crypto-genic and of course bullion to represent the form taken by precious metals in bulk or before coining, or valued by weight. I see it is a love it or hate it kind of name though, but one certainly remembers it once they have seen it.

I could not find CGB on your poll.  Huh

I will share the same reasons I just named in the CoinMKT thread:

CGB is one of the best crypto currencies on the market today. Take a look and see how it stacks up to any other crypto available and you will be impressed. Here are some of it's qualities:
- Rarity - 1 million CGB cap with a yearly inflation of .5% after that
- Security - PoS/PoW hybrid - so has added resistance to 51% attacks
- Intelligent Design - One of the best difficulty algorithms around to prevent raping by multi-pools
- Supply/Demand - Rapidly reducing subsidy algorithm to assist in a steadily increasing price due to reducing demand
- Speed - Extremely fast transaction time
- Financial Backing - An advertising budget of over $2k per month
- Ongoing Development - An extremely active development team
- Popularity - A strong community following (over 8k likes on Facebook)
- Future - Very large game-changing projects in the works
I might consider buying some.

as much as i like CGB, with that $2k advertisement budget and team, I still wonder why you would go with that name. Cheesy

None. Momentum is not there. First to market usually leads for a long long time.

Need a campaign manager? PM me
No.
BTC may drop tomorrow due to unforseen circumstances, which will result in all the alts ending up dead too. Something radically different may take over but that is not here yet.

If bitcoin climbs to $5000 then litecoin should have a good shot at it with the 50:1 ratio.
But do you think people would buy Bitcoins if they reached $5000?

Probably not the smaller folks dealing in whole bitcoins, but at that level it would be Wall St. and investors like the Bitcoin Investment Trust or proposed Winklevoss ETF.
Nothing preventing people from trading in micro-increments of btc if the price gets that high.
But it might be harder to sell your coins, if you wanted to sell them all.
