not exaggerating if I say that the best altcoin to be used as an investment today is ethereum. I suspect that 90% of crypto users have participated to hold ethereum and wait for ethereum 2.0. it could be this year or the year to come, ethereum prices again reached their ATH.
With such huge price drops as in the last 24 hours, it is difficult to decide on anything. I'm still looking at Syscoin and Electroneum, but I think Ethereum will be the most reliable investment this year. However, I will wait with shopping because it is not known how long prices will fall now.
Ethereum has always been a trusted choice for many investors, but if you are looking for a good investment, you should choose the new coins available in this market. I'm not sure what the future of Ethereum will be like, but this coin currently depends only on the price of Bitcoin. You should only invest 10% or 15% of your assets in this coin and set the price to sell after buying to avoid unnecessary risks.
According tot the overview of the last 30days from WorldCoinIndex there are several coins which have shown huge growth: Chainlink25%, Zcash28%, Cardona64%, Ontology34%. Ethereum has a growth of 25% in the last 30days. No doubt Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency to invest but we should also consider other cryptocurrencies as per market cap.

I have a favorite alt and it's ETH, but I like the rest of the top coins from time to time because they grow in price and make a profit.

This kind of huge price drop is basically an invitation to rebuyin, I would say,,, but I am not in possession of any new money so I would not buy in at any price for any coin I do not already have. More ETH does look good now I have to say, same as XMR and LTC. Got to keep faith in the oldies!
I am certain that many people must have BNB at their top 10 list, there are few coins that share a place with everyones top 10, some people have some other coins some people have others but everyone has bitcoin there, ethereum there and most have ripple and even bitcoin cash, eos is getting there slowly but I think BNB was the first one to crack there as well.

good to invest, adding to the list BNB and XRP might bring some good market run since there are supporters who also investing to those projects and
when market turn to bull it can lift up this coins too.

but you have a lot of favorite maybe better compressed to at least 2-4 altcoin for solid investments.it will bring you more profit if not diversified too much.

you dont have my only favorite?what does it mean?but you have a lot of favorite maybe better compressed to at least 2-4 altcoin for solid investments.it will bring you more profit if not diversified too much.
I did not choose for now of which altcoins would be my favorite in this season but I rather to have some altcoins that I like to buy to. Their are lots of altcoins that would be our favorite to invest or buy bu we need to make sure if that altcoins would be fit on us and have a chance to increase the price in the future so that we can earn profit on at.

Now that only stablecoins are green, I can't see a reason why you would have a favorite still unless you are holding a percentage of your portfolio of this favorite altcoin. As of now that only coin I bet on casinos are TRX since its the most cheap coins that I can just waste while passing time. I could consider it my favorite because I'm hoping more of the airdrops they'd be giving to my wallet.

ETH is always the leading altcoin in this market, whether the market situation is bad or good, people always invest in ETH. Because ETH is the best altcoin and has the opportunity to go up to ATH and help investors get profit when the market goes up.However, the coin is still very much dependent on the value of Bitcoin so in the future you need to consider before making a decision. Personally, I will keep watching this market for a while longer and will only invest again when everything is clear.

Not many coins in my crypto wallet are only a few altcoins and the average coin that I save is a coin that has stood the test of time and many people recommend it and my 2 favorite altcoins are currently only eth & xrp.
xrp is diving hard now but being centralized currency?i don't think its a good idea to keep holding this coins. 
Choosing more than one coin is also a difficult task that everyone should do. It is already hard to pick one coin because we have no idea if that coin will be good or bad, will be an exitcoin or scamcoin or a shitcoin and we still have to pick that coin right?

That is why I have stuff like btc-eth-ltc-xmr-eos-bnb on my portfolio because even if they go down, I know they are not horrible at least, I do have some small ones as well but they are not too much of my investment and mostly just dust amount from the bounties that worth less than 100 dollars all of them combined. Only makes sense to actually buy into the known good ones.
