In this moment my favourite altcoins are ERD and ATOM. The first is performing well, the second one is having a good trend and I'm pretty sure that will do good in the next bull run. Probably in november we will se a decreasing of bitcoin value and I hope in an increasing in btc pair for all these alts
Although Bitcoin Halving does not have anything effect on the price of Altcoin on the market but there is no reason not to hold your favorite coins, indeed not many people can afford to invest in Bitcoin but Altcoin can also generate profits in the long run. I'm sure the Altcoin season will come soon and let's start investing from now. until now ETH has always been my favorite coin and how about you?
I don't like investing in old coins because it would be very difficult to make high profits from the market just this way. In my opinion, you should look for new coins that have just appeared in this market because if you are lucky, you will earn a very stable profit in the near future. Of course, this is not a good investment option because it is very risky so if you feel good enough in this market then consider. 
My favorite this season and year is definitely Noia Network. Their growth is amazing.

Also according to July info, Noia is among top10 project with less than $5kk capitalisation.

Yeah. Everything has a right time. Everyone has to wait for this and the one who gives up impatiently loses. The halving of Bitcoin has taken time to influence market prices. So this time too we have to wait to see any big change in the market. Those who think long-term know how to use this time and prepare themselves for the next big run. The Altcoin market has recovered a lot over the past few months. We can expect more recovery in the coming days.
Bitcoin is the decisive coin for this entire market because all altcoins will usually follow the price of Bitcoin. I don't like day trading and will usually choose long-term investment because this way is safer for me. Maybe BNB and ETH are two very good options, but these coins will often be difficult to rise because so many people choose to hold this coin.
maybe a long-term investment will be safer if you have skills in analyzing the market in the future. I only hold my investment assets for a maximum of two quarters. I never keep it longer than that. I do not know the future market situation will grow my investment or even bury all my hopes.

It took a year you are right last 2016 halving when the effect only felt at the middle of 2017 and continues before the year end.

of course, BNB and ETH are assets that I must have this season too. but I don't think the improvement will come anytime soon. at the moment I am speculating on the new CTSI altcoin. does not require a long time to trade CTSI, the price this season looks very good even though it is fairly new with their IEO. Lately, my views have not changed much and I continue to hold onto Cardano, Chainlink, Ethereum.
I will advise you to change your views cause aside the utility, liquidity, trade volume etc of a coin investors/traders also need to consider ghe standpoint of crypto during ATH and market bloodbath/correction session before making their decision. If we ignore the hype, i can assure you that Cardano dont what it takes.
I believe that before the end of 2020 we will see very good results of these cryptocurrencies.
Maybe but one thing is obvious after the pandemic there will be a huge number of poverty and it may impact the market.

Thanks to the large marketing campaign for 2020, Cardano is ready to show a very sharp leap forward. As for Link, its main feature is Oracle technology. Thanks to this, the platform has very great opportunities for future prospects, which are expressed in a very wide range of partnership agreements with various large companies and financial organizations. Let your self believe in Single coin But never Put your Money for Single Egg because the reality is Diversification will save our money from direct losing .

What are those bounty tokens that you still have? I look at them as not worth it anymore but if you got those bounty tokens that were launched around 2016 or 2017, many of them became good even up to now. And other some good bounties that I have participated until this time. I still have faith that few of my bounties will worth more later(especially the good one). ETH and BNB no doubt are one of the best altcoins and as an investment. There's high liquidity on it and people actual use it.

I agree with you, BNB was my favorite token in 2017 and now its my favorite coin, becouse of BEP2 and Binance. BNB was first TOP coin who reached record price after 2017. I think BNB will be Top currency in future to
don't underestimate altcoin as you said, it's true that BNB is very good and that is already known from BNB's journey.
when the other altcoins are not doing well, the BNB actually increased in June 2019, but unfortunately it has to go down again even though it is trying to move up again in february 2020 which also cannot last long.
but besides BNB, of course there are still good ones in altcoin, of course, the prima donna of altcoin is ethereum which should not be missed because it is still sought after and made as a promising investment. some are quite stable like Tether, or BCH who always follow the movements of bitcoin.
now it is needed to analyze first before moving to investing in altcoin. because the current situation is still not encouraging for the growth of altcoin.
