I don’t have a blacklist because my evaluation is always live and instant. I believe everyone should have their definition of what makes a coin/token a bad one. Because what someone else may blacklist, you may see it fit for investments instead. So have your own evaluation.

for the altcoin problem that we want to blacklist, there are of course very many and it will take a lot of time to do it, so you just have to choose an altcoin that has potential because of the many altcoins, only a few coins have the potential for us to invest and there are very many shitcoins, so we Just choose coins from 1 to top 10 so that our risk is lower as an investor.

When there are thousands of altcoins, it is not possible that I can blacklist all of them because they are too many and most altcoins are shitcoins, just only few of them are good but they are highly volatile. Their volatility makes them very risky to invest in. And one thing I hate about the altcoins is that they are not getting to all-time high.
It is way easier to keep a whitelist instead since only a handful of coins will be included in it, with my list being very short as I only use bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin, now I understand some may think my list is very narrow, however even if there are other good projects out there, I do not really see the need to go out of my way to get those coins, when I can do whatever I want already with just those three coins, with most of my money invested in bitcoin as it is the best coin by far.

There are many altcoins in the market no one can say when any altcoin will be good. That's why I won't blacklist any altcoins yet. If you invest in altcoins you should research the market well before investing. It will be easier to avoid scams and find the right altcoin if you proceed with caution. Not all currencies are the same so blacklisting is not right.
We blacklists projects that are not promising and doesn't compacts good road maps which is the basis and necessities to consider before investing in a project. Blacklists altcoin, there are several parts we should always avoid and keen on making progress in all stages we've found ourselves. Altcoins are basically the projects we're all pointing out to invest but at the same time, we should be careful because taking the slightest decision will still require backup.

The only coin on my blacklist recently is Billionaire (https://billionair.com/). Although it's already listed on exchanges and is a new startup with no use case, I have reservations about the team. They claim to have secured funds from a crowdsale, but their approach seems suspicious, making them an unreliable crypto to hold for the future.

Anything that has NFTS included in their projects, I despise them so much because other than that NFTs thing, they don't have anything valuable about their project, they just be beating around the bush about something people don't care about, they are just hype without anything realistic to prove even though ART world is actually expensive, the ones in crypto are just money laundering that are bought between two known people just to avoid law enforcement.

The second one is BRC tokens, till date I still don't understood the use of BRC tokens, sometimes I just think we love illusions and lies for each other or perhaps the Bitcoin developers were trying to make Bitcoin network more busy so miners can make more money and wouldn't be discourage as halving is reducing block reward every for years but I haven't seen anything special about BRC tokens.

I don't blacklist any coin but ignore any coin that is over hype especially all this memecoins feeling themselves on the solana chain. We have too many shitcoins so it's practically not easy to blacklist them but whatever that have to do with this shitcoins I wouldn't take part in it.

People often seem to forget crypto's use cases or hidden potential. They'll choose any coin without doing prior research as long as it makes them a quick buck in return. I wouldn't be surprised if existing altcoins die only to be replaced by new ones in the future. That's how the crypto market works, right? Cheesy
Exactly, this shitcoins from my understanding most are created by the same group of persons, who will kill a coin. after raising the hopes of investors then they will come back with another coin that they will feel like it's best again then the same actions will reoccur.

Not feasible to blacklist Altcoins but I have no go zones wherein there are Altcoins which I don't invest into like NFT based coins and memecoins though memecoins might sound tempting now but I don't think we should get into it can rug pull anytime. I stay away from Altcoins which are over hyped and does shill marketing, I rather stick to top Altcoins.

I would suggest people not to get tempted by the unbelievable returns promised by some new projects.

I've blacklisted all of the centralized "shitcoins", and overhyped "meme" coins. Totally not worth the long-term investment, imo. They often "pump" due to hype until people move away to the next big thing. Once the craze ends, market prices will "dump" all the way down the drain. It's not like Bitcoin or Ethereum whose value persists over time. In fact, these two coins alone have reached a new ATH over time.

I stopped looking at them for a while because it's going crazy and if one kind of project succeeds then there will be 100s of projects created with ditto of the project which is not holding any potential at all. I am not denying profit-making because it's just bump and bump-and-dump game but the long-term vision is kind of too much to ask at the time.

But I would say one coin in specific which is XRP, only because it's centralized and mislead people in so many ways.

I can't blacklist altcoins because there are so many altcoins that we can't even mention them one by one. If there is an altcoin that has lost a lot of your money when investing, first remove the altcoin from your wallet list so that the same incident doesn't happen again, which is necessary. Please note that investing in the altcoin you are researching should not be used as an issue as your investment insight.

I don't have any blacklisted altcoins since they just come and go after that I just simply ignore or decide not to have them especially if I know that there's nothing to get or even there's no chance for that alt to get a pump again.

But in case of taking precaution discussion about alts then provably I am avoiding those meme coins especially if they already exist for long period of time even if they are listed on big exchange since we don't know if we can able to get something from them since I'm afraid that by the time we are going to decide to put up some money to those meme coins then they would start to leave on the ecosystem and pull of the rug pull scheme which has been played by a lot of scam devs for so many times.
No, not all alts can come and go but some remains, and I believe the OP is referring to them. Before we mistakenly pick them sometime and ruin us, it's a good idea to act first/early and blacklist them right away.

Alts (the normal and good ones) are I think different from meme coins and in fact, they are not even a coin but they are a token. If we are interested at them, it is still better to choose the established ones because the chance for them to collapse right after we invest is only small. We can get something out of them, once the meme coins are trending. It was like they are having their own bull run too. It's fine if you choose to play things safe. In fact I like users like that, who only support cryptos that has real contributions in this space.

We can't give a list of the blacklisted altcoins because it's a very big one and the altcoins that we will miss people will consider them as the useful and profitable altcoins but we can surely provide a way to check the feasibility of investment.

Don't go with the social media marketing and the hype created of the project. Apply all your skills and analyse the project in that basis. Don't go after big names.

What are our reasons for blacklisting altcoins? If the coin doesn't interest you, of course you can avoid it. Of course, the analysis of price changes from year to year does not get better, so there is no point in holding onto such an altcoin. But we don't need to blacklist the coins from our records, if we have already bought them we can store them in a different wallet, to avoid selling below the purchase price.

I agree with your opinion why do we blacklist altcoins when every year altcoins keep changing if there is no desire to buy just throw them out of our portfolio. Every time there is development and new altcoins appear, they are still unable to compete with altcoins that do not have good quality on the market. I also never keep altcoins that have no price movement on the market. Why should we fill our wallets with dead altcoins.

I can only put altcoins that I hate on my banned list, but I can still trade them if necessary as long as this token was not a scam token. I believe that asking others about the blacklisted tokens is somewhat meaningless considering they have various reasons why they are blocking it. I meant that even if you did not try to look at it, you would eventually find it. I've blocked some tokens in the past because they have

1. Shady developers.
2. Scam
3. Pathethic tokemic, and many others.

I've also added zero privacy tokens to my list because I'm aware that the government will not accept them in the future, zero privacy coin potentially to be banned by the government. This is why i avoid to use it.

It's best if you inform us about your list first and what tokens you have blacklisted it. lol. You questioned people for their opinions, but you didn't know whose tokens were blocked.

Actually there's a lot of altcoins to blacklist more especially those altcoins that doesn't have a good potential in the future, those set of altcoins need to be blacklisted so as to avoid losing our money when investing on them. However most of the altcoins their value is always stagnant, from time to time no increase in their value. Though I'm not a lover of altcoin neither do i invest in altcoin, so i think those investors who always invest in altcoin knows the ones that need to be blacklisted.

So what exactly is your blacklist?

For me, there is nothing specific because I am only interested in some specific areas in the crypto space and prioritize completely with bitcoin, but perhaps the project you are sharing is also something that I uncare.

I don't know what your intention is here? But it seems like your content has a very crappy quality and sometimes it seems to borrow ideas from AI tools. If you are really serious about developing, you should create quality topics, not content meaninglessness to yourself.

I do agree that anything that is based on memes is off my list without a doubt. That's what I look at, XRP and all meme projects that's it, anything else could be looked at. I am not saying that I will invest into anything, of course I will not invest into most stuff that I see, I am just saying that I will not invest into anything that is meme related, or as a coin itself XRP because it's just a couple people in a company that made it, and something as centralized as that doesn't really play a role in my portfolio.

I would even invest into BNB, which is coin for Binance, a company, and yet still not do that for XRP while they do look similar. Difference is that BNB is backed by an exchange, XRP is backed by absolutely nothing.

There is a huge list but I avoid any altcoin that comes with infinite or huge supply. I also avoid coins that are controlled or alleged to be controlled by market makers or exchanges as these coins does not trade naturally and their prices are manipulated by exchanges. Such coins are harder to ignore as they get a lot of media attention.

I try to avoid coins that have a small total supply but a large maximum supply. I also look at the price movement of the coin and if it is very volatile that means there is a possibility of price manipulation. I cannot mention any coins because it is only based on my personal analysis and cannot be used as a reference by anyone. But that's how I blacklisted a coin.
