I have never blacklist any altcoins, because I use to carry out my personal research before approaching any altcoin in the market and it has been helping me not to invest in a wrong altcoins that will cause me losses, and there is nothing will make me to invest in anyhow altcoins in the market. If you are part of potential altcoins investors, you will always be in the winning side OP, because they always invest their capital on ten top altcoins which they use to increase alongside with Bitcoin to caused their investors to experience huge amount of income. Anything that will make you experience losses in your altcoins investment, stay away from such altcoins, because they will make you regret for making such altcoins your choice and you will blacklist them, because you don't want to fall victim again.

There is a huge list but I avoid any altcoin that comes with infinite or huge supply. I also avoid coins that are controlled or alleged to be controlled by market makers or exchanges as these coins does not trade naturally and their prices are manipulated by exchanges. Such coins are harder to ignore as they get a lot of media attention.

I don't know about others but I haven't thought about black listing an altcoin. I always go by the trend in the current market while choosing an altcoin for short gains. For long gains I stick to what is ranking in the top 10 as per market capitalisation. The rest I ignore unless there is a hype or news  that can boost the price.

Fake projects and shitcoins have no room in my wallet but I don’t blacklist them since I don’t think there’s a feature like this on exchanges, I simply ignore them and make no effort analyzing those projects. There’s a lot of altcoins honestly and if you want to succeed on your investments then better to focus more on good projects than wasting your time with the shitcoins.

I guess majority of the shitcoin or shitcoin that is used to deceive people or scam people. One of the coin that I don't plan on having one is Pi coin. I don't like the whole structure of their token and I hate the brained wash supporters of it, as if they are earning from shilling the Pi coin. There are even people using it daily, It is currently being used as a peer to peer payment for goods and services. I am so sorry for those merchants who accepted Pi coin as a payment, it is an instant loss for them given that Pi coin doesn't have real value in the market.

The billion coin is what I am seeing with Pi coin nowadays, brainwashed supporters.
If a coin is used to pay things online and pay for services then it is a good coin because even bitcoin was created to pay things online as p2p but that didn't workout. But my concern on the pi network is that how are the sellers of those goods received the pi because there is no wallet to receive the coin. And as you said many people are mining the pi everyday. I some of my neighbors my mining pi very seriously and they sold some of the pi before and they sold it with a reasonable amount.
Though I don't like shitcoins and all my investment is only in bitcoin.
I haven't used or registered on Pi coin mining but with a simple search just now, I discovered they have a wallet in for pi network. If your neighbors sold it, then it's good for them since they made some money but I don't think it's good for the buyer as I personally think it is a worthless token. Just like I said that there are merchants accepting this token but that doesn't mean that the token has some value that they can exchange for something rightly equivalent to that instantly unlike bitcoin or other good altcoin or even shitcoin that is listed on CEX or DEX. There are so many people who want to sell their Pi token but there are only few people who like to buy it given with the risk involved.

Personally, I have blacklisted 3 altcoins that I bought in the past, took only a little profit, and still lost all of them back to the market. If not for luck, I could have also lost all of my capital.

The project appears promising in my eyes, and I invested a few of my reserve stable coins in it, but it turns out that the team felt very reluctant and allowed the project to die off. A project like Propel is my top No. 1 on my blacklist, and even if I see them trending, I will only sell off my old holdings and can't invest my penny in that project again.

I don't think that I have blacklisted one, maybe I'd avoid them at all cost but who knows what may happen in the future if my mind changes.
With scam tokens and coins, I think they're the ones that should be blacklisted and even I won't blacklist them, they will get no volume at all anymore and they're unlikely to get demand and that's why it is no use even if I am going to blacklist them on my own.

What are our reasons for blacklisting altcoins? If the coin doesn't interest you, of course you can avoid it.
Exactly, maybe the term of his is to blacklist and avoid at all cost are just the same.

What are our reasons for blacklisting altcoins? If the coin doesn't interest you, of course you can avoid it. Of course, the analysis of price changes from year to year does not get better, so there is no point in holding onto such an altcoin. But we don't need to blacklist the coins from our records, if we have already bought them we can store them in a different wallet, to avoid selling below the purchase price.

There is no need to make a blacklist because there are so many of them that we only need to make a list of altcoins that have the potential to be profitable according to the results of our own research and from various other sources for consideration so that we will be more confident that the altcoin we choose will be included in the list of notes

i blacklisted gamefi tokens because OP promotes them. i can't just allow investors to lose money while a team of kids plays games earning by scamming.  Grin but i will not blacklists memecoins, it's fun for all!

Any tokens where I sense the developers are greedy, I won't touch them, low float is another project I do distant myself from, most of these 2016 to 2018 project had entered my Blacklist already because if you have all these years to develop your platform and till now no one is using it, I doubt there is hope for such project except it is a Memes

you're going to blacklist all of them since all developers are greedy. even the top tokens developed by well-known personalities dump thier coins when they start making money out of it.

There are so many altcoins that I can't mention one by one, in this case everyone will not blacklist one of the altcoins unless the altcoin has harmed them. I will choose the top altcoins that have a lot of popularity to avoid big losses, thousands of altcoins we can't say which ones we should put on our blacklist.

Certainly, there are many thousand of worthless tokens with no considerable and utility listed on coinmarketcap. Generally, the red flagged exhibit characteristics such as lack of transparency, unrealistic promises , low level of liquidity and poor communication of their teams with the community. It is prudent approach to avoid such coins/tokens and stick to mainstream cryptocurrencies such as, Bitcoin, Etherem Solana, XRP and other coins within top 20 coins listed on coinmarketcap.

I don't have any blacklisted altcoins since they just come and go after that I just simply ignore or decide not to have them especially if I know that there's nothing to get or even there's no chance for that alt to get a pump again.

But in case of taking precaution discussion about alts then provably I am avoiding those meme coins especially if they already exist for long period of time even if they are listed on big exchange since we don't know if we can able to get something from them since I'm afraid that by the time we are going to decide to put up some money to those meme coins then they would start to leave on the ecosystem and pull of the rug pull scheme which has been played by a lot of scam devs for so many times.

It is true that crypto market is not immune to scams and risks. Overtime we have witnessed many scams including major collapse of LUNA and FTX where investors lost their life time savings. In my opinion investors should avoid putting even a single penny in them. These flagged coins include OnecCoin, BitConnect, LUNA and Plex coin.

It is important to be cautious and vigilant while investing in cryptocurrencies to avoid potential losses.

I don't even research thousands of altcoins and I'm not willing to blacklist any altcoins. I can only choose from top 20 alt coins for investment. From these top alt 20 coins invest in whichever one you think is suitable. Besides, there are some coins outside of the top coins that are interesting to invest in if you research them and find them suitable. Investing is basically a personal choice, you have to take your personal decision to invest in altcoins because they are risky, you will take your money and no one will calculate your profit and loss.

I don’t buy anything that has a ridiculously high supply cap. Also not strictly altcoins but it comes under the same subset of investment types - NFTS. What a scam they are, I’d never buy one, they’re so obviously a big scam it’s untrue. NFTs are just a big money laundering scheme, the big guys selling bidding on their own NFTs, wash trading to clean up dirty money.
