The thing you don't seem to understand is this is tech and the clear difference here is that Shadow has built its core foundation within 4 months. It has just released its testing phase for a completely efficient 100% anonymous transactions
(ZK Zero Knowledge) without the mixing gimik. It is a straight p2p zero knowledge transaction that is highly secure unlike some attempted implementations lately (using zerocoin).

It is complimented by a whole range of mobile wallets for android and even iOS (reminder that bitcoin does not even have an iOS wallet yet!) that are optimized for low battery use. It is still, i believe the only project with a pos lite wallet (something blackcoin and peercoin still do not have). It is the only complete package that has a html5 interface with a sdk being made for app devs to build and monetise the network with a built in encrypted chat that you can even send (currently) weblinks, images and text through (mobile and desktop also including animated gif)

No one wants that when investing or buying it to use! Stealthcoin dropped 90% in value last month because its all smoke and mirrors with no actual features or innovation..

private test has been completed and public test for ZKsnarks has started...!!!

The zk + ring signatures implementation is a fix to any inherit problems. A real (not vaporware), working, ZK implementation is the real advancement here.

i am sure dev team will do an announcement and they will release the whitepaper

Darkcoin - dev & community is one of the strongest. Economic model is sound with masternodes providing a store of value, service to the network and also incentive for return unlike BTC nodes.

Technology is original and still the best. Open Source allowing it to always be improved, by people wanting to make it stronger rather than destroy.

Mainstream media coverage on FOX, Bloomberg and accepted on Bitfinex and now by a few DarkNet markets. Its following the path of BTC years ago.

4 Bitshares - Very innovative and unique, nothing else quite like it, innovative clones about to start appearing. (RPCD)

5 Bitbay - Great developer, but totally unknown as much is based on mysterious people backing it, if they are legit with major connections, perhaps Bitbay could do well.
