Fullmetal Alchemist
This is the anime era,and we have the best anime on the tube.Which one do you like?
Detective Conan still remains #1 on my list. I prefer something that makes me think rather than senseless action and unrealistic humour.

Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei is fantastic, and despite what some say, it's fully enjoyable when sober (as I always am).
i like Death Note (it's a awsome and deathly note LOL

Fullmetal Alchemist is not only the best anime I have seen, but also one of the best t.v. shows from any category.
There were two versions of the show. The first one diverged from the plot at some point and imo ruined the show about 85% of the way in. Then a second run called "Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood" started off where the plot from the first show diverged form the manga. Both were good shows, the first having a higher production value, the second a better story ending.
Seriously check it out before judging others for watching good shows. We don't look down on people who watch south park or the simpsons, and anime is no different, it is just made in Japan. Some of the shows are adult oriented and should not be watched by children at all.
Anime's are full of inspiring stories and animes like naruto,bleach have a very deep meaning in there story line.
Whereas show's like simpsons are full of shit.They are low on creativity and high on hormones

Hmm, why is that? Some anime can actually be quite deep and interesting - far more than many popular Western series and films, I think. Take Ghost in the Shell as an example, or a lot of the works from Studio Ghibli.
