Then it depends on what altcoin you are talking about. To say generically altcoins are more profitable than Bitcoin is a big mistake, because you are including many shitcoins among them which aren't profitable in any ways. It's quite the opposite: they are scammy worthless tokens which won't return anything to the investor, rather they work like ponzi schemes where late investors lose all their money due to the pump and dump scheme these tokens are operated on by developers (scammers).

Compared to most altcoins, Bitcoin isn't only a more reliable investment, but also a more profitable one. So, be very careful with what kind of altcoins you are adopting thinking it's going to be more worthful than BTC.

During investment of cryptocurrencies and you are eyeing or targeting to make a huge profit for your investment, I think that you will not go to bitcoin directly because bitcoin will give you a smaller profit for the investment and it's very obvious that the only ways bitcoin can give you a nice profit is when you invest high in bitcoin and you will make a higher profit if it eventually enters into bullrun, so the bullrun as I said before that can only gives you a higher profit when you invest higher.

We all know that. Let me make it more easier to understand what you are saying OP. Bitcoins are profitable for long term investment or holding. But people are here to make huge amounts of money in smaller amount of time. For this they are willing to take the subsequent risk also. Hence they are in search of volatile alts, all the time. If you ask me then yes Bitcoins are the best coin for me. I am not the guy who usually trades a lot. So just buy handful of Bitcoins and hold it for long term to make good profit.

We all know that Bitcoin already got significant increase in the price and it can go much higher from now.
But in some Altcoin we can invest and can get much profit by investing in them. If Bitcoin will increase to 3 to 5x so it is possible that few coins can go to 10x or even to 20x too.

You have mentioned some coins like ARPA BLOK and BLZ. These are good coins but we have some more options like we can invest in SOL XRP Matic and XLM.
There are many crypto currencies so choose wisely. I will recommend that first you should learn about them and make some analysis which can help you to make a decision that which is best crypto currency to invest.

Even altcoins need patience since they are just following the Bitcoin movement when pump. The hard part on altcoin investment was it gives massive losses compared to Bitcoin during bear market.

I agree with you. Bitcoin is the most significant coin for holding. If there are people who also get high returns on altcoins, but they also have higher risks too. So, do what you can to handle these risks. And bitcoin is the ultimate answer to this, more over for long-term investment.

Yes, when we want profits that might be bigger in altcoins, the risk will also be bigger. for long-term, when top coins can be taken into consideration. ETH, BNB, and also XRP are top coins that have been around for a long time and are worth it. However, actually I'm personally a bit worried about BNB because of yesterday's case. Hopefully this won't have much of an impact and BNB will continue to soar, looking at the use case and fundamentals of the coin. Actually, there is another one that might be valuable, namely Matic, but you still have to be careful in choosing these altcoins. In this case, once again, altcoins will have greater risks.
