I can't think of another coin name as the next Ethereum. But if Ethereum transaction cost is staying active as now, another coin could be replaced. Although already Ethereum TPS is now higher than other coins. At least one year before, people thought EOS would be the next Ethereum. Between 3-4 years I can't predict any new altcoins.
Guys which coin do you think will be the next ethereum ?
In my sight after doing many research it will be pilkadot or kusama will be the next ethereum, because the founder also co founder ethereum " gavin wood " and afcourse the tevh is more advance then ethereum.
I'm really bullish on Cardano. I think with everything it brings and with news that they have in plan for this year it has a possibility to come to 3rd place behind BTC and ETH. Surpassing not yet but we will see what future will bring.
i like your words about cardano and this is a reaslistic opinion,
but, i think its hard to find the next ethereum now, because a lot of altcoins claimed as the next ethereum but the fact, there is no altcoins can be the next ethereum

Is there ever going to be another coin that will be the next Ethereum? Ethereum will remain the only Ethereum no matter what, even if Polkadot beats Ethereum and take over the second rank in crypto space Polkadot will remain Polkadot not Ethereum 2 or whatsoever
For me the best investment right now is EGLD.(Elrond)

Avalanche (AVAX) is the most technically advanced coin, but that's what everyone says.
I'd do my own research on it and find out for yourself.

we already have the next of ethereum, which is EOS... in term of technology.. the question wasn't specific on what aspect you want to compare Ethereum with other coin..
How about if BNB coin the next for ethereum, any one agree with my opinion because BNB is platform coin for Binance exchange and almost exchange owner coin always have potential for growing up, how ever when have launchpad coin on Binance always give offer for BNB coin holder, maybe will push BNB to higher price if always giving offer for holding, maybe this year BNB raise above $200 and look real project become partner for BNB coin.
I agree with this. however, BNB is an altcoin that is getting quite a lot of attention in 2020. other than that the increase is pretty good. however, BNB can't beat ETH. but, I think after ETH, maybe BNB should be reckoned with.
I think polkadot is next ethereum I have done so many research on this project I have also checked the team after completing that I think Polkadot has the ability to become the next ethereum

Depend which one coin have good price and many people will prediction different day by day coin become the next ethereum, when BNB have good price they will prediction with BNB become the next etehreum but when have BCH cross higher price they will change their prediction with BCH become replace for ethereum. I think not have exactly which one coin become the next ethereum because not be stable price like ethereum and always dump.

Hm LOL, as if another coin can be the next Ethereum, all we will keep seeing is new challengers but that doesn't mean Ethereum will be overtaken, though it's not impossible but all these new projects are just trying, Polkadot and Avalanche are good too but they still have a long way to go

it's very hard we will see another coin like ethereum for the next 3-5 years.
Despite there are several clones and project that try to run alternatives blockchain (with more or less success) I don't think there is already the real need for another coin that could overcome ethereum. In the past I have seen waves with optimism but at the end they are far away from ETH success

many say BNB and Polkadot will be the next candidates, or are rumored to be able to surpass ETH later.
but I think maybe it will and maybe not, even though later one or both of the coins will surpass ETH I'm not sure ETH's popularity will decline that easily, ETH was the originator of smart contracts anyway.

I think this kind of comparison is not too much worthy. At this point ethereum is the biggest platform based token available in the market. It is hugely popular. It has a very huge fanbase and also the biggest 3rd party dev base also. So at this moment uts very hard for any coin to reach that popularity. Technically there are lots of platform available which are better than ethereum atleast in speed and cost matter. But still people chose ethereum over anything. So now you can understand why other tokens can't cross ethereum.

Ethereum is always holding his second position. I am happy if xrp or usdt is going as the same position of ethereum. So, ethereum is always the good position for the beginning.
XRP replacing ethereum in second position is kinda impossible considering the state of this project as of now and as you can see the market cap is just 1/10. if something happen and XRP making a comeback its gonna be a tough one comeback. The only "crypto" that makes sense is USDT considering how it released so much USDT that it grows its market cap to such high value but as you know it's stablecoin. Jump to:
