i don't understand what you mean, you have listed 4 potential altcoins in the market and here are your choices. while you say OP should invest in low price altcoins and have not experienced a high increase, you are referring to low cap coins. why don't you advise him to invest in the 4 altcoins you mentioned, it's a lot safer than investing in new altcoins

If you believe on this then why will you still invest on other coins? Although it is not wrong to add something along with bitcoin. It also cuts the risk and it can allow you to gain some more profits but that coin must be well picked because you know, there are so many bad coins on this space right now. The future of those bad coins is of course not going to be bright but keep in mind that even the best coins still have their own down times.It means not all times they are at the top (their price) so you must know when to time your moves. You should sell before it happens but you also need to buy when they are already at those moments.

Indeed bitcoin still not break out to higher price not good option nowadays investing in several altcoin, but I try spent my fund investment allocation 60% for bitcoin and left 40% investing with top ten standing position on market for altcoin like ETH or BNB. Honestly if bitcoin still not stable on higher price have bad impact for altcoin and I don't brave investing my portfolio bigger for altcoin than Bitcoin. Return back for investing in altcoin later when Bitcoin back to higher price exactly my decision if Bitcoin reached above $30,000 seems become moment for investing in altcoin, right now better stop awhile for investing with altcoin looking how many altcoin being up scam at the end.

you can check it on the coinmarketcap site. you can judge which coin you deserve to hold for the long term. a big factor for you is to look at the market cap of the coin you want to invest. BNB, ETH is the advice I give you because these two coins have a pretty good profit ratio when the market becomes bullish. Besides that I think you can apply the DCA system to maintain your position when the market turns bearish.

Investing in Bitcoin is the most beneficial in all aspects but if you don't have proper financial support then you should invest in Altcoins. There are many altcoins currently in the market, some of which will be able to do well in the future. Ether and XRP are among those coins. I think investing in these two altcoins will be considered successful investments after Bitcoin.I would say even half is doable because bitcoin doubling in price and reaching 40k is not impossible. So all in all, you should always have some bitcoin, probably the biggest piece of the pie, and then rest could go to risky stuff to make sure what you are doing is fine.

There's a lot of gem in the cryptocurrency market. One is BNB. Value appreciation is high as it is mostly used for BSC transaction and in their trading platform for cheaper fees. I was not lucky enough to buy it at a cheaper price though when Binance was not that popular.
I am sure about buying Ethereum now though as it is in the position where investors are doubting what could happen next. There's no assurance yet that it would pump it's price after the Merge.

If you will invest in alts choose the established coins or the top 10 in CMC. In my portfolio I have Bitcoin, ETH, BNB and Solana as my major coins while the others are a bit risky since they're shitcoins. But I allocated 70% to Bitcoin then 30% in alts. You can buy now because we are in bearish season, the price of coins are a bit cheaper. Anyway before you engage yourself in crypto make sure that you take time to gain knowledge for better understanding since every investment has risk and there's no guarantee to gain. Lastly, dont rely on suggestions because it's important to have your own research for every coins that you'll invest in.

altcoins today are the cheapest to invest. as long as its an old project i think you'll be fine. its the waiting game that you will have to worry because we never know when this bear market ends.
several times predictions were told that its over but here we are almost going back to $17k again. the one that i will recommend DOGE. its cheap which you could have thousands of it with just $1k. so imagine the profit will be when the coin goes moon exceeding its ATH.
I think bitcoin is already less profitable considering the already high price so bitcoin has only a small movement for it. New coins are more profitable but the risk is quite large. I do not recommend for beginners, for beginners it is better to buy coins such as SOL, BNB, ETH.
