It seems to me that this is a rhetorical question. I think he wants to find out which coins do not invest. However, this is a very unusual question.
Check out Shift, Lbry Credits and Viacoin. I find they are being overlooked and have great potential, if they achieve what they are trying to achieve, they could shoot through the roof.

Even the top listed coins show signs of price drop often, so becoming poor buying and holding bitcoin and other digital currencies is very simple and a possible fact. Here lucky people get rich holding the asset expecting the downfall in value as the market is completely unpredictable.

I almost have the exact similar sentiment on these, but anyhow i am slightly biased in IOTA as I hold 10 IOTA.

I think the coin that can make you poor is XVG, the project is the same as the others, not very good and not too bad too, but the demand is a little, which means that few investors join, so xvg become less popular and less potentially among altcoin users.
