In my opinion, Kyber Network and OmiseGo are good coins for long term investments. OmiseGo creates a digital wallet where you use for payment with real time, low fee, and high speed. Meanwhile, Kyber Network creates an exchange with many advantages such as low fee, confidence, quick transaction, anonymous.
It's hard to say. Currently, there is a lot of hype surrounding cryptocurrencies, with a great number of supporters. However, it is still too early to tell whether any of them, even bitcoins, are going to truly become recognized and accepted on a universal scale, or whether they are simply part of a bubble.
There are some new ICOs out there that do believe in the viability of cryptocurrencies in the long-term, and are even trying to create platforms to assist investors in making informed decisions. All people tend to speculate on short-term moves but I am more interested in tokens that will go up x times over the next couple of years...

Litecoin and monero are the two coins which can show tremendous profits in the long run as both the coins are very capable platforms. LITECOIN is a coin which is famous for its lightning quick transactions as it is almost 4 times faster than Bitcoin. You can expect the price of litecoin to be above 300$ within 2-3 years for sure.
Even though ETH is already quite popular and has already substantial market exposure, I still think it's the best long-term investment. The concept just encompasses anything that can be encompassed, it's a programable Bitcoin essentially. The fact that is already has such a wide adoption (and so quickly) means that it's well received by developers and there are already many projects building on it. It's like Microsoft in the old days, they made Windows accessible to everyone and everyone still uses it up this day (the majority at least). The same is with Ethereum, developers are building on the ERC20 standard, and applications (which will be accessed by consumers) will be used by them, that's quite big and I think people have not realized the future implications of this.
Speaking of long-term investments, Ripple Ethereum, and Stellar are the best long-term investments now. But there are always altcoins that will continue to grow and rise.
Although almost impossible to predict, I'm betting on Ethereum, especially for when it goes into PoS (Casper), and mining basically stops (at least as far as we know it today).
We don't predict on what happen by the next 5-10 years in altcoins in which more profitable coins and just hold in that long term until that year. All altcoins are have a potential in crypto market which high demand, then price will rising up. I assume that speculation will happen in altcoin nowadays so I stored my wallet altcoins like litecoin,dogecoin,wave and monero. Beside this i always prioritise to bougth ethereum and bitcoin this for future purposes I know I've earned a lot with this.
Litecoin will surely increase in the future so it is wise to invest now in it. Its also cheap now so you can get it for cheap instead of investing a few years later when its worth something.

I think CIVIC would be the best coins for long term investment. Its a coin based upon the idea of identity verification with help of Blockchain technology. RIPPLE is another coin which has alot of potential. It's a coin based upon the idea of global value transfer and many companies are adopting this platform. It's a coin worth investing.

other coin is maybe eth there a possiblity that the price of eth will rise up to $1000 in the next few year you just have to buy and leave and comeback after a few years so you will panic and sell it if there a price drop

Definetely OMG, Its almost a sure fire bet, already have a main business that run transactions for credit cards and such, in talks with Macdonalds in Thailand, offices all aroung south east asia, great team, opening new decentralised exchange.... the list goes on.

I am investing not only because I believe they will be a short term investment, but I believe they will also be a great long term investment. I feel like omisego is going to very great investment in 3 years. There are other powerful but nearly unknown coins/tokens like aventus and musicoin which are on great ideas. But noone knows if these are gonna work. Good development is the most important thing really.

I think when anyone holding coin for long time he must have to do another work... he have to forget holding coins, just search new opportunity and take this. At last I agree with you, Waves,Etbs,Eth are the great coins.
I think investing in alt coin takes a long time. because the price when go to market first time will be very destroyed, plus dump from bounty hunter which become a problem. it would be nice to use the "just hold" formula of warren buffett for the coin that you think is good
I agree with you, for long time investment you need patience, if they survive 10 year then I become millionaire, cause this coins are growing now
