When we look at bitcoin user numbers ,  we can understand  which country will be the first to legalize Bitcoin ,  i think most bitcoin users live in China and they want to use Bitcoin so much and they dont  like to inhibitions about bitcoin in their country so , My opinion first country will be China because their most of population need it and  the Chinese government is aware of this.

You're right buddy.
Although we got to remember that communist China government has been controlling their economy and power for hundreds years so it won't be so easy for them to legalise it and indeed loosing their "in-everything" control.

The fact that most user are there anyway can let us think where to look right  Smiley

Bitcoin is legal in many countries and many countries also use Bitcoin for many transactions like Japan I guess. It cannot be said that any country will not reject Bitcoin because some have opposed the use of Bitcoin. Bitcoin may be legal and used by a big lump of population of a certain country but it may be not possible for Bitcoin to get recognized as national currency of a particular nation.

Bitcoin is legal in most countries, if you mean to make it a legal tender then it is difficult to predict, Japan will likely be the first as they are at the forefront of most things and it is already an accepted means of payment.

BitCoin is not illegal so a country can legalize it. legalizing illegal requires serious legislation and must be at a level that will be addressed by an official institution.

I stand with Ukraine.
Until now there is no official state legalize bitcoin for currency, may still need a longer study in order to apply bitcoin as legal currency, if there is a first country that uses bitcoin I estimate is the philippines.

Interesting. Why Philippines? Are there any evidences to support that notion?

I think we can say that Switzerland has already legalized Bitcoin because you can officially buy Schweizerische Bundesbahnen (SBB) tickets with BTC.

You can in Switzerland to buy it but only a small amount ! So we can say they still control it in a kind of way.
With that amount however you can pay tax ( around 350 USD maximum) so yes it’a definately a first step in a long way journey to became worldwide accepted  Angry

I didn't know about the limits at the time I was writing the post, but now I checked it and came across this article in Coindesk, https://www.coindesk.com/swiss-railway-service-sell-bitcoin-ticket-kiosks/, which states the following: "there will reportedly be a CHF 5000 annual cap on purchases". That's roughly $5,000 annual limit which is a big amount considering that it is to spend on the railway services. I can't imagine someone who needs to spend more than that in one year.

There are many countries, they already legalize Bitcoin. Many countries, you see, they aaccepted bitcoin by ATM,banks, other digital ways. Probably usa, japan and other countries are the first to legalize Bitcoin.Hopefully, it will accept all over the world, very soon.

What a nonsense. At this point in time there have only been a few countries that actually legalized Bitcoin, so I don't understand where your believe comes from that many countries have done it already. Another thing, even in countries where Bitcoin isn't legalized there are Bitcoin ATM's operational, so that hasn't much to do with legalization. On top of that, thus far there has only been one bank that actually allowed people to buy Bitcoin through their regular ATM, and that's basically it. Not sure where you get your information from, but I would definitely start putting effort into doing some actual research before taking things for granted so easily.
Bitcoin is used all over the world and those regions who didn’t knew about it in past are also now showing interest into this mighty coin because this coins open the door to the global development and business and a lot of countries has legalized it like UK, USA, AUSTRALIA, JAPAN and list is long because of its profiting nature and its eases, more regions will be joining soon because bitcoin fever is getting high.

bitcoin transactions are legitimate in countries with good financial and economic factors, and for the first time issuing bitcoin trading licenses I think china and japan and other countries follow,

I think it would be some third world country first since they happen to not regulate much of their economy outside their countries and they tend to not be affected much by cryptocurrencies.

I think so too, China has been open to many kindnof business and changes, bitcoin and cryptocurrency is one of the fast rising stars in the market so I think China won't let that kind of advantage get away. Most of the first world countries is sure to legalize bitcoin but I think, since many of them are tied to banks, its gonna take some time before they actually legalize the use of cryptocurrencies in their countries.

Totally agree with you buddy  Smiley
The real reason you have just written: the G7 nation are TIED TO BANKS!
Even if China had banned ICO months ago, they started to reconsider it and I think soon they will state some news about its official approval: their economony are facing crisis too and they neee something revolutionary to continue growing like years ago

i think i don't know which country that will be the first to legalize bitcoin but i only know japan that is already approve bitcoin for their citizen. i am sure that soon, the other country will follow japan and i think it will be for the country from asia which is giving legalize for bitcoin. bitcoin will be more famous in next year so it will make the government thinking about bitcoin and they will giving their approval for bitcoin to be used by their people so we don't have to worried for anything.

I Hope so mate!
However I think it’s not that easy. I mean for Goverments it will be tough to accept it as main currency because it’s a destroyed concept and like you know many old style power that are still controlling and earning money just lobbying is a strong entity to fight against.

It will happen for me, but not so soon as you write

I don't think it will be China, they can manipulate economic situations to their advantage so much with their control over the price of the Yuan, they would not be able to do so with bitcoin and would lose out on such great advantages.

I think also that bitcoin not start in China even thou china has one of the business but i never think bitcoin starts in china because i research where bitcoin start or first country legalized it and that is europe or europian union because they use bitcoin for many transaction adn for there food so that not in the china.

As far as I know there are some countries that legalized bitcoin already. One of those countries is Japan. Not long ago, they have announced the legalization of bitcoin on their countries. Some other countries announced that bitcoin would be taxed and considering that it will be, bitcoin is already legal on those countries the moment government starts to tax btc transactions as well as crypto transactions.
