Actually there are many very good altcoins for you to invest in, but ETH, and BNB are very worthy altcoins for you to buy, because these altcoins are very potential and have very big prospects in the future,

With the price fall that as happened recently may altcoin are looking so attractive that a big investment in altcoins is really a good idea. For those who ca n hold for log time too can invest in quite a few altcoins now and make good gains as well once market recovers it. ETH,LTC,BNB,BCH,DOT,XRP etc are some cryptos which is can be invested in.

OP said invest in safemoon, but for me the project is a bad project,
I will not recommend you to invest in this project, I say like this because Safemoon is a new project,
I have been in the crypto world for a long time, so I know the hype or not, the safemoon supply is huge,
and if you are trying to invest with your $20k it is very risky, consider that

I think there are very many good altcoins that have great potential, and 20000$ in my opinion is quite a lot, my advice is to divide the investment in several altcoins, for example BNB, ETH, ADA, etc.

Which crypto should I invest? I have 20k.
I look on the crypto SafeMoon
It sound promosing.

I am long for safe investment and long term. Should  i put money on it?

If I were you, then I would not to invest in SafeMoon for the long term, because there are still many other good cryptocurrency to be used as long-term investments rather than SafeMoon, therefore I would recommend you to invest in
1. ETH
2. BNB
3. IOTA
4. ADA
5. CHSB
For CHSB I cannot recommend, because CHSB is not yet on top exchanges like Bithumb, Huobi, or Binance,
if you have bought CHSB from 2019, of course you already have a lot of profit from there,
but if you want to buy CHSB now it will be very risky, yes it all depends on you, I'm just here to suggest you.

The number of people holding old coins is generally higher. There are people who bought it a few years ago as a long-term investment. In general, there are no serious changes in price, so you take less risk and earn less Cheesy
But some of the investors in new coins are people who started investing this year. Since new coins are not very reliable, the price can drop quickly, so the risk is also higher.
Safemoon or similar coins are not long-term coins. I suggest you keep coins that are old or have a good project instead Smiley

If you are looking for safe and long term investment, I recommend you stick on the well-established altcoins and has been around in the business for several years already. Very good examples are ETH, LTC, XRP, ADA - my portfolio is packed with these coins. I am also keeping a fair amount of Stakenet's XSN in my bag. An underrated hidden gem which I believe will going to pump real big in the coming months.
I suggest keep an eye on those top ten coins in CMC. And never start investing unless you have done a good research and analysis on the coins that have caught your attention.

However, bitcoin should always be your top priority among others. You can grab the chance of buying bitcoin at the moment while the price is still manageable. Never waste your time on newly altcoins because some of them will just fall into shitcoins and eventually lose your capital.

That's make lot of sense. You need to do genuine exploration exceptionally becoming tied up with coins as Bitcoin crashes. As time is very crucial, we need to avoid potential risk since you had to invest in crypto coins. I would definitely pick ADA, BNB, DOT, MATIC, ETH and a little BTC.

It is not really advisable to put all your eggs in one basket. For me it has a lot more risks than distributing your asset in any kind of crypto as your investment. However, I am wondering how coin market made a ranking of the crypto i mean how they can determined which one is fut for the 4th up to 10th rank. Though i do follow this kind of strategy too whenever i am thrilled which crypto should I invest i do consider the ranking of cmc and i find it pretty helpful.

if you put all your money in one altcoin that is still not more than 3 months old for me is a reckless act, considering the crypto market is very volatile.
you can choose the top 10 on coinmarketcap to choose some of them.
I think it's much better to pick a coin in the top 10 on coinmarketcap,
I really don't recommend putting all your money in just one altcoin and it's very risky,
for sure don't just buy coins let alone new coins and before buying make sure you research and analyze it

Your advice is indeed very good to do, especially choosing the top 10 on coinmarketcap for investment the safest step to do. Because usually coins
that are included in the top 10 crypto have a high volume, so it's safer to buy, it means that there are always many investors who are interested
in the top 10 crypto. Unlike shitcoins or new coins which sometimes after pump, the price will continue to fall and it will be difficult to sell again.
Then another important thing is not to use all the capital we have to buy one coin, because if the coins are dumped, then our capital will also run out.
By dividing our capital in several coins, the profit generated can be much greater if all the coins we buy go up. And if one of the coins that we buy
there is a fall in price, we can still profit from other coins that we have.

trying a new altcoin is of course very risky but it can also be very profitable if we trade it when it is still newly listed on the market, from my experience, if the altcoin has reached its ATH within a month of course it is certain that the new altcoin will be very difficult to increase again, especially in market conditions that continue to deteriorate today will certainly be safer for us to invest in altcoins such as BNB, ETH and bitcoin which usually experience a rapid recovery in prices, as traders take risks of course it is normal but if we can minimize losses, of course there is no harm? I don't see it's safe in the long term if you invest in the coin. I think if for the long term I suggest that you invest in ETH or BNB coin.
There might be a word of safe on it but it's actually not safe to invest with that type of coin. Other than ETH and BNB. Don't forget about these oldies but goodies coin.
  • XMR
  • LTC

not only LTC, XMR, ETH and BNB that you have to invest in,
there are many good coins in more than the top 100 coinmarketcap, you can choose HEX, SXP or DODO,
so don't rely on the top 100 only, if you can find one that still has little ROI and I'm sure in the future you will have a lot of ROI

Among all cryptographic money, bitcoin would be the most ideal choice, put resources into bitcoin as long as possible, that would be a decent benefit. I can't propose which crypto you ought to contribute, yet perhaps you can attempt to different your venture, so the danger will be isolated also, and you probably won't encounter misfortune or gain without a moment's delay, yet it will be assorted.

If I were you, having $20k, the first thing I'd buy would be:

1. $10k in ARPA
2. $5k in ETH
3. $5k at DOGE

I am very sure that the three altcoins above will soon rise and skyrocket in the near future, because the three altcoins will rebound after the market improves.

here is my recommendation:
1. SHIBA INU
2. TKO
3. ARPA
4. XVS
5. TRB

I also invested my money in the 5 altcoins above, because based on my research, these 5 coins are quite stable coins even though the market is dumping, the project is also quite promising

The markets are currently on a very misleading course. It shows a small rise and then the prices go down. In this period, the investment is very risky and there is an expectation of $ 28000 for Bitcoin. I think you can get BNB, SXP or DENT after this target.
