Use a hardware wallet, don’t store anything of too much value on an online wallet. The main ones are trezor & ledger. Make sure you only buy them from the official sources.

Each wallet has its own advantages and disadvantages. Some use only keywords and some use multiple authentication. Behind it all comes back to us as users. However, I personally choose to store my crypto assets in many exchange wallets. people use and have good security such as two-factor authentication.

First, you need to learn what you're doing (or what you're about to do), so you can choose the wallet that better suits your needs. You will be surprised to see how many times you change your mind, as you start learning different options and techniques at your disposal.
Then, you can start learning about different kinds of wallets, and make an informed decision. It's important to understand there are no "good" or "bad" wallets. Each has a purpose, and the same wallet that's great for you can be completely unsuitable for somebody else.
As a general guideline, choose open source over proprietary software. It doesn't matter if you know what "open source" means, what matters (to you) is that anybody can inspect the code of the wallet, so as to keep the developers honest.

Which wallet you choose depends on your needs. Generally speaking, hardware-based, standalone wallets are great for long-term storage. Universal wallets are especially practical for traders, because they allow them to hold different types of cryptocurrencies at the same time. For example, https://bitcoinwallet.is/ fully meets my needs. Maybe it will work for you too.

All crypto wallets are a tool for earning: each incoming and outgoing transaction brings income.Although the amount is minimal, the creators of crypto wallets earn decent money due to the number of users. Therefore, for me, the main criterion of choice is the commission to be paid
