Using Binance at the moment. Is that one of the best, or there are better ones?  I live in Sydney Australia by the way.

And which exchange has the lowest fees?

And do I need to provide photo ID etc to join them and to start buying coins?

Thanks:)

Bittrex is the best for me, and i always use bittrex because of its strong security features.

In my opinion, Bittrex is the best exchange for trading because of its strong security features and no news of any attack on their site. I am a long time user of their site and no issue happens with me till date.

i trading crypto from last three years. i use all exchange yobit, bittrex, hitbtc, poloniex and cryptopia etc. my opinion bittrex is best exchange for real trading. bittrex all coin are selected and reputed never loss maximum money and recover any time. yobit is gambling site coin moment very fast and dump any time. bittrex is best for long time trading and never hacked site. hitbtc and cryptopia have some coin volume but many coins volumes very low.

The overkill with Bittrex and secondly Poloniex is suggestive of either or both responding to this thread. Neither are perfect.

Yobit gets are bad deal, and this is because of its poor customer service. But it has high volume, and does not steal from customer accounts.

As for Cryptopia, well, low volume, and I am not saying more than that.

Nova, it is finished, so we will see what the new "management" has in store.

C-Cex is okay, although volume has dropped.

There is a gap, so hopefully someone fills it.

CoinsExchange, I have not used it. So will not say anything negative about it. Some people appear to like it.

Of all the exchanges above, not including the ones mentioned in other threads, which I have not used, but will try, I would use Yobit given its volume. I would use C-Cex given its credentials, and I have had no issue in the past.

I would NOT use Bittrex for reasons relating to obnoxiousness.

I would not use Poloniex, given I am of the opinion that it used its power and contacts to boost MONERO.

I  would not use Cryptopia, full stop.

I don't recommend Binance to you. I think you better choose between Bittrex and Poloniex. Both as based in the US. Binance is basically chinese. I have a little issue in terms of honesty and quality standards when it comes to china. You can also consider Bitfinex, the current top in terms of trading volume. Bithumb is the top holder most of the time. They are alternating with Bitfinex. Cryptopia is another option. It is based in your neighbor New Zealand. HitBTC is also good.

I prefer to use poloniex and binance or hitbtc more comfortable trading in 3 this Exchange, compared to other exchanges in my opinion
Poloniex is pretty bad, they use the money that was inside the peoples accounts that they shut down then they ignore the requests whenever they send a support ticket.

I think poliniex and bittrex, but for myself I am more often and like to use etherdelta, because most new altcoin from ico, usually first enter etherdelta
For the beginning days to understand better about trading I have been suggested to use coinexchage.io because of the less number of assets listed to the service. With large exchanges the listing will be big and the same will make us get confused while picking the asset for investment.

I tend to use a number of exchanges. Depends which coin I'm trading. I use bittrex, bitfinex, cryptopia, kucoin, coss and hitbtc.
Thats the idea, It depends on the coin, volume of trade of the coin at the time of trade on the exchange and the price of the token.

I forgot that Bittrex meets the problem regarding Customer's claim about verification process and they blocked thousands of account without any notification, and without clear reason.

I think a good exchange is one that has many members, so the trading volume will be great. with large volumes, the trade will be fast and the price movement chart will be fast, so it will be faster also to get profit

bittrex, cryptopia, coinexchange, binance and etherdelta should cover nearly all the coins out there.
Bittrex and etherdelta are probably good enough for most purposes.

I have always heard good bittrex references, but to date I have been more familiar with Poloniex, since it was the first exchange I worked with, and it has accessible fees and I have never had any setbacks with its platform and its services.

Another exchange that I am starting to use and I have liked is Cryptopia.
