They all seem to run tight ships, Gox, BTC-E, Bitstamp and Cavirtex. Had good experiences with all of them.

Been using BitStamp mostly in recent weeks. Before that, CoinBase and MtGox. CampBX looks promising too, although I'm avoiding US-based companies for a little while...

I highly trust CoinBase.com , even though the site is up and coming, they have implemented many security features and received $5m to expand.

CAVIRTEX | Canadian Virtual Exchange
As a canadian, i really like CaVirtEx for getting money in and out. They seem pretty trustworthy. Then for my day trading needs, as much flak as they get, mt.gox seems like a pretty safe bet. IMO

Thanks for the kind words.

CaVirtex is Canada's first Bitcoin exchange (cavirtex.com). CaVirtex allows traders to buy and sell Bitcoins with Canadian dollars. We operate our exchange with a team of dedicated full-time people. We also have a business plan that will add many more features to our exchange (See our prospectus on havelockinvestments.com). On the legal and regulatory front, we are paying for legal advice on how to operate in Canada with the utmost safety to customer funds.

Trust is something that is earned in time...I am still too new to mining and selling of coins.  I am using BCT-e and CampBX...they both seem to actually work.  That being said you will have delays on getting into CampBX lots of times.  Best thing to do is set your sell orders and keep checking when you are able to access the site.

Been working with Mt. GOX and Btc-e lately. Both are very reliable in my opinion. Mt gox is super easy for SEPA transfers.

I also tried bitcoin-central.net until they got hacked Sad Ashame tho... Sepa tranfers with no fee and processed within a day. Really loved them.
Hoping they will come back once they designed a new backend.

Just my 2 cents.

Quality info in this thread guys, we primarily use Mt Gox, but after reading all this, I am inspired to try some of the others.

I also did some trading on mcxnow.com, which worked fine, and now i´m also testing cryptsy.com. I asked support if they will support Franko, and got a reply in short time, +1 (btw, he said they will Wink).

I don't trust any of them, but I have had an easy, successful transaction with CampBX.  They do not require ID verification before transacting. I setup the account and completed a transaction in about an hour, including withdrawing the BTC to my wallet.

I trust Gox - 2 accounts with them, one verified
Campbx - have an account but never used em, seems legit
btc-e - also legit, i trade alt-coins here (just ltc) and the btc is cheaper in comparison to gox

for crypto-securities I us btct.co and i've heard bitfunder is also good

I have an unused account on Gox. But I notice they always crash and get hacked. You also have to go through expensive middle men companies. Sort of like Blockchain.

Once you have bit coins you can send them up to BTC-e to trade for other coins if you want. I never keep a balance on BTC-e. Just send the coins to my personal wallet. I never send cash to BTC-e because of the expense of third party middle men.
