In fact, all the altcoins you mentioned are recommendations that people often give. If you want to focus on 1 altcoin, then it's ethereum. I think, when the halving comes, having Bitcoin and Ethereum in our wallets will be a very good thing. Actually, Bitcoin alone is enough, however, if you want altcoins, then Ethereum is also good enough. If you want to add another altcoin to your portfolio, then choose the 10 best altcoins on CMC.
When the halving occurs and BTC reaches a new ath, of course altcoins will also follow BTC's rise, so many people take advantage of this moment to reap profits, especially the top 10 coins on CMC, of course this is the best choice to add to our basket besides BTC of course.

But I agree with you, it would be better if we don't be tempted by how many coins we have to buy, just focus on two altcoins like ETH and XRP. Because buying too many types of altcoins actually makes us dizzy, it's better to focus on two altcoins but we are effective in following developments so we can get maximum profits. Facing bitcoin holdings, in my basket there is only 50% btc, 30% ETH, and 20% XRP.

... good altcoins I can hold for the upcoming  halving, that's going to also skyrocket too. I was thinking about ETH, BNB and SOL. But still, I  need recommendations from you guys about the best altcoins to hold for the halving please.
These three are indeed coins that have great potential to rise in the next bull market. However, for other altcoins, you may need altcoins whose prices are still low and have a good rate of increase. Some of them are Matic, XRP, and also ADA. I think these three coins have potential. But once again, nothing guarantees 100%, all risks must be borne and we must be prepared for all possible possibilities. Because after all, sometimes there are top coins that are able to pass the previous ATH and there are also those that are not. So we hope that these altcoins can actually pass their ATH again later.

This literally the first halving I'm going to experience since knowing about bitcoin. So I've already started holding Bitcoin and lately the progression  has been going well!!.So I've some Lil funds with me but I'm thinking of which good altcoins I can hold for the upcoming  halving, that's going to also skyrocket too. I was thinking about ETH, BNB and SOL. But still, I  need recommendations from you guys about the best altcoins to hold for the halving please.
You can hold ORDI altcoins with Bitcoin for the upcoming halving. Currently the ORDI market is running alongside the entire Bitcoin market. This ORDI is going to touch $100 very soon. Not just $100 it will pump more. I have invested in this ORDI and I am very profitable. I am thinking of holding long term because ORDI is moving in tandem with the Bitcoin market. A 1% increase in Bitcoin increases ORDI by 10%. To say it is a great altcoin to invest in.

If you have enough Bitcoin in your portfolio and perhaps want to play around with altcoins, I think BNB, Matic, XRP, TRX, and a few other meme coins are worth looking into. It's only a suggestion and not advice. Altcoins cannot be very predictable and could cause some disappointment if you have placed your mind on making a profit, unless you also prepare your mind to accept whatever result you might get. If you hold altcoins, you have to be very active with updates about the project because it could get pumped or dumped when you don't expect it.

I actually prefer if your funds are used to increase the number of your bitcoins. But since your initial question was about altcoins, I can suggest ETH, LTC and Monero. I see Monero is getting a bit of attention after the mixer case that happened earlier this month. Monero is the coin that has the best privacy IMO. ETH hasn't made a progressive move in a long time so I think they will make some spikes. LTC is a sleeping giant that is wriggling. IMO this third is an altcoin recommendation and remains always DWYOR.

halving does not guarantee that other altcoins will grow along with Bitcoin. But logically, you need to keep the top ones that are in demand, such as eth and bnb, I think this will be a win-win option.

I'd follow the hierarchy of crypto coins, that have proven their worth in the crypto market, I'd choose based on reliability and high value. So at the very top is bitcoin, no disputing that, then coming down to altcoins, I'll also choose the number one top altcoin, and you can argue it, but it remains ethereum, for now. So there you have it for me, although there are other top alts like bnb, Sol like you mentioned. Definitely no new altcoins for me, they look very promising and profitable on the short run, but what becomes of them after the bull run? I don't have the risk absorber to predict their life span, so I'll stay with bitcoin and ethereum, and go to sleep with my eyes closed.

But I would say that just stick on your chosen altcoins, they are already profitable and these coins are known to pump when the bull season comes. In fact, I only hold BTC and ETH and I was satisfied already with the profit I've earned. I was not thinking for more nor did I have to be greedy but I saw the contentment already. Because I think that it was better to focus on BTC and ETH and put all of the money into them rather than investing a lot of altcoins. Earning a profit is not with the number of coins but with the amount, timing, and strategies it matter.

The coins you've mentioned are good. But I'd put most of my money into ETH, since it's the biggest blockchain network in the world after Bitcoin. Blackrock and Fidelity sent an application to the SEC for a hopeful approval of a spot ETF for ETH. If approved, market prices will rise like crazy. You will have more gains with both BTC and ETH combined, than any other cryptocurrency on the market.

The hype is only starting, so I'd suggest you get in now before it's too late. Just don't invest more than what you can't afford to lose, and there should be nothing to worry about. Who knows if altcoins will make many of us rich post-halving? Cheesy

what else do you need?... it looks like you are right to hold several alt options that will give you profits when the halving occurs, such as eth, bnb and sol.  because I think holding these three coins is enough for you to make a profit later

None of us here on this forum can dictate to you which altcoins you should invest in; it's still good to do your own investigation and research on the crypto you want to invest in.

Though I also don't see anything ugly in the choices of altcoins you mentioned, I respect that. Now, if you are really looking for other crypto investments, maybe your base is the top 20 listed in Coinmarketcap and Coingecko. It depends on you where you want to shop.

Holding bitcoin is very good and their is no cryptocurrency investors that would not like to add bitcoin for he or her crypto investment, so therefore it should be good for we to invest in bitcoin for long-term not a short-term investment, sometimes that is what makes some people lose in their cryptocurrency investment they don't have a particular duration they want they investment to last before making a withdrawal or cash out their funds.

So in the aspect of holding altcoins, I don't think it's encouraging to hold an altcoins for very long time and any altcoins you want to hold for a very long time should the best top five [5] altcoins that have a very big potential, so therefore I will like investors to scrutinised the altcoins they want to invest on first before they invest on them, altcoins investment is something we do very careful and with timing so that we will not fall the victim of losing our capital...so if I should recommend altcoins I will say that the best altcoins to recommend should ethereum, BNB, litecoin and solana, you can hold for long-term with a target as I portrayed before now, this is only advice I can give someone who want to hold altcoins for more than two years to make a proper research of the altcoins they want hold before purchasing them.

Since you have started holding Bitcoin in your wallet in this bearish season which is the most popular and trusted coin in the crypto market , I think you have made a good choice in that aspect which will lead you to a greater position in the future. I think, the altcoins you have mentioned here are among the potential altcoins in the market, if you can carry out your personal research to know how good they are to both long term and short term holders in the community. You can go ahead and invest on Ethereum, BNB and Solana, and you will have every reason to invest on those altcoins again whenever their price decrease down in the market

ETH, BNB and Sol are actually the safest choices when it comes to Altcoins. But if you want to look for altcoins that have quite high upside potential. Then you have to start looking at and analyzing several Layer 1 and Layer 2 altcoins. Usually this type will have a fairly large increase after Bitcoin reaches ATH. But if you want faster profits, of course you have to start looking for AI coins whose trend doesn't seem to stop. And it could rise even higher in 2024. And it's better if you buy some altcoins. Not on the same altcoin. Unless you are ready for the risk.

anything related to bitcoin since its halving will be great investment including ORDI, STX and many more they have proven to always also increase when bitcoin is increasing so if you wanna try to find investment thats like bitcoin basically following bitcoin path everytime there's market movement then choose those coin that are just revolving around bitcoin, because mainly the good news for bitcoin will also be good news for these coins.
other than that have you ever have thoughts of investing in the BRC20 coins? i've heard that there are many minters that got those coin for free that right now getting massive profit from minting them but I guess its when they mint at bearish where it gives them the most reward, right now they are just harvesting their earlier effort because bitcoin apparently is bullish.
but i'm sure brc20 will still have bright future in the future once bitcoin skyrockets many of these brc20 tokens will also sky rockets.

I've to disabuse your mind that Bitcoin halving doesn't directly uplift altcoin prices. If anything, altcoins begin to rise after Bitcoin has soared to its ATH and investors start taking out their profit to invest in altcoins. That's for those who like to remain within the crypto circle. There are others who take theirs to Forex trading and stocks. Nonetheless, we can't be certain it will always happen or follow that trajectory like we saw altcoins didn't pump in 2021/22.

Anyway, besides those three you've mentioned, I'm suggesting that you get some CTSI, Matic and Tron in addition.

Ethereum for sure would be a good alternative. But since you are seeking options, you may also consider BCH and GMT given that these two are also quite doing well. Meme coins are also considered by many investors even most of it are having no utility to sustain a bullish demand. If it is with holding, I choose not to invest that much on quantity but only with the ones I think will give me bigger tendency to gain profit. Altcoins which are more volatile could indeed give you bigger profit than the top coins but it'll also be more risky to handle. I'd say stick with decent gains and less risk just to be sure to take home the profit once bulltrend actually takes place. Right now, prices are high but CME gap is still there which could trigger a sudden dump so let us be cautious of entering due to FOMO.

XRP can be a good investment, provided its issues with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) are settled in a win win situation, and it is mostly anticipated. In such a scenario investors who have been holding it for years will be able to recover their losses. Looking back its historical performance, XRP has achieved all time high of $4 approximately, which can be broken in future. However, the major concern lies in its substantial supply of 100 Billion tokens.

Regarding BNB, it seems prudent to stay away from it, until its legal issues are completely resolved.
Certainly, Ripple is a good currency and has partially won its case with the SEC. However, it's only a matter of time before Ripple fully wins the case. I hope the same happens with the other altcoins that have been classified by the SEC as securities, as positive news will bring about a positive change in their prices, and they will undoubtedly rise with the occurrence of such positive developments. BNB has experienced a sharp decline, attributed to the ongoing SEC war that has not been resolved yet, along with the resignation of CZ and similar factors. In reality, I don't prefer currencies primarily backed by centralized platforms, regardless of their strength. The Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt that will spread around these platforms due to negative news will have a long-term impact on the currency's price. A close example is the FTT currency. I believe Ethereum is a promising and good currency that should be added to one's investment list alongside Bitcoin to capitalize on the upcoming halving.

although halving has nothing to do with altcoins, their prices are also going up when BTC is going to the moon. it's good not to miss the altcoins season. the more you got the more you profit especially its sweeter if you go them from bounty campaigns.

you make sure you get thousands to millions of the altcoin you chose otherwise you may just profit less. say you have 50K TRON, at least with this quantity you make huge with just a slight increment of its value.
