Nvidia 1060 best graphic card i think for mining low energy good hashrate
good hashrate in what coin/algorithm? if only have good hashrate in a few coin (hmmm 1 or 2), i think this card only as alternative.

1080 ti is the most cost efficient both in terms of power consumption and overall mining rig expenses, but you have to find the coins where it can outperform AMD's, and there are a few that are decidedly more profitable than ZCASH to mine with it, but obviously with more price volatility and uncertainty...

Yes, obviously AMD GPU meet your requirements for mining ethereum. I have no idea why people suggest you Nvidia for ethereum  Undecided

If you are looking for new cards, then you can get 470 or 570, these two are good in power consumption.

That's the point. But yes, for newest NVIDIA cards (1070ti - 1080ti) also have a good performance on Ethash.

At current pricing, the 1070 ti and 1080 ti are VERY BAD CHOICES to mine ETH on.

1070 ti has the SAME hashrate as the 1070 (which is ITSELF a overpriced choice), 1080 ti costs almost DOUBLE a 1070 but only returns about 20% more hashrate - and all 3 cards are BADLY blown away by any RX 470/480/570/580 on hash/$ at recent pricing on the RX cards.

Vega 56 mining Monero right now is a very good choice - *IF* you can find one under $500 or so.
Supply seems to have dried up for the time being though, and the 64 while it also does well costs a good bit more than the 56 for nearly identical performance - the Vega is VERY MUCH memory limited in Monero mining, so the extra cores on the 64 don't help noticeably.
The current price gouging on Vega cards WHEN you can find them at all is making them not so good a choice though - and on anything but Monero they are NOT competative on hash/$ with other options even when the 56 was $449.

Use RX 580 8G, all happy, the RX 480 is just hard to find.

Compare with these cards you can get more hash power in Nvidia GTX 1070i cards so you will be best to go with these cards to make more money as a newbie or proficient in GPU mining.  You check the mining thread which speaks with the 1070i cards in altcoin mining section bro.

Then you will be able to understand how much money you can make with these cards. I see you to mine the bitcoin or altcoins with these cards with the more profit. Best coin to mine with this card is monero or zcash. These will be profitable than btc and eth.

forget about ETH, take vega 56 or 64 and start to mine xmr
this is the best choice now
rx vs gtx 1060 - take 1070 ti = the best choice for high variety of algorithms to mine and decent speed in them
i agree on Vega but too bad they are out of stock mainly.

For beginners I would suggest to go with Nvidia cards. Just play a bit with the OC settings and you're good to go.

1070 would be a very good choice, if you cannot afford 1080 Ti.

I usually use Nividia or RX. These cards are very good at performance and consume less power. After a period of no longer use can use these cards to play the gamer and graphics processing is also very good.
it depend in our fashion, people like you may be comfortable with something that have a low risk, but other people choose to take higher risk.

GTX 1070 is the best
I think that 1070 is optimal for newbies and if you have more money - 1080 Ti the best choice)

In the graphic card list some of the cards giving more hash and over clock performance to mine the altcoins and even mine bitcoin. I see that Nvidia 1070i, Rx 470 and Rx 580 cards. These cards are best among the other miners usable cards and it will give the hash power around 32 MH so if you have a rig with the multiple cards means you will find the more income. If you go with the less number of cards your profit also lesser.

One of the best card for Ethereum mining is Radeon R9 295 X2 (8GB). You may not find new units of the card on the market, but you can find used ones. Otherwise, you can use Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 and 1070, if you want to mine Ether.

Agree, 295x2 same as using 2 x 290x, U'll get around 60 MHs on Ethash using 295x2.

The best graphics card should be universal in relation to different algorithms and in demand on the secondary market among gamers.
So the choice is obvious ...
